461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one did you use to gamble with more on: December 23, 2023, 11:57:56 AM
I am not really into virtual games, because I feel that they are rigged. I like to stake before the matches are played, because I feel I have a better chance to get the best odds that will favor me.

The in-game betting is just too fast... and I seem to miss out on some bets, because the odds change too frequently to keep up. (This is more so with multiple bets)  Roll Eyes

Interesting topic.... I would like to see how other people are betting.  Wink
462  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: December 23, 2023, 11:52:57 AM
Ok, for one thing.... I want honest reviews, not biased "copy&paste" reviews from other sites.

I want the person that reviewed the site to physically test every aspect of the site, namely :

1. Speed of withdrawals
2. Response time of the customer support
3. Responsiveness of the site (Speed tests / Lag testing etc..)
4. Calculating all the available games.
5. Checking the availability of original games.

This are the kind of information that I am interested in, not the generic crap that some of these review sites are dishing up.  Roll Eyes
463  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2023-12-08] Financial Times: ‘Number go up’: bitcoin’s startling surge is ... on: December 23, 2023, 11:45:04 AM
You know, even if the truth stare some people in the face, they will still ignore it. The pessimist will always be a pessimist and they will spread that negativity, even if it rains Gold bars around them.

We have had several years where Bitcoin out performed several other traditional investment options and people like this was never satisfied that Bitcoin was legitimate. (It takes a government to tell them what to believe... )  Roll Eyes
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin losing its P2P efficiency!! on: December 23, 2023, 11:35:42 AM
Yes and No....

The congested Mempool is part of a coordinated attack and not the normal day2day transactions that we are supposed to have on a daily basis. We also know if more people used the Lightning Network for daily transactions, then congestion on the Blockchain would not have been an issue.

We should allow the developers to find counter measures for these kinds of attacks and we should also allow for Bitcoin enthusiasts to solve the mystery of who is behind these attacks.  Wink
465  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitsler witheld my money for 7 days, with no explanation what so ever on: December 22, 2023, 07:05:13 AM
I think what happened to you are not unique to Bitsler, because a lot of casinos are doing the same thing. You started out as a "newbie" gambler and they quickly honored all your withdrawals, because they wanted to retain you as a gambler on their site.

As time went by they saw you winning more and more money and they also saw you withdrawing frequently from their site. Now, this will raise the "red" flag with most casinos, because they might think that you are a proffesonal gambler and that you might be cheating. They will stall withdrawals to have time to investigate your bet history.

They obviously also check your actions to see if you are participating in any kind of money laundering activities.
466  Economy / Economics / Re: Setting up financial structures before going into the family way on: December 22, 2023, 06:51:48 AM
The thing is ..... most men are thinking with their little head.. when the hormones are raging. They go blindly into a marriage without any thought of the financial consequences. They even start with a family, before they are able to support it.

Those kinds of marriages are doomed to fail, because the foundation are flawed from the start. The financial aspect of the marriage are just ONE of the several challenges that new couples have to face.... so they are starting with a marriage where there are many issues from the start and that might be too much for many young people.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do casino owners benefit from creating multiple casinos? on: December 22, 2023, 06:38:12 AM
Each of these casinos has each own unique circimstances and reasons for doing this. A casino operator might not be comfortable with the relationahip with their current business partners and they might decide to open a new casino with new partners or new in investors.

I think that was one of the reasons why Eddie from Stake.com, opened the new site. There were other business partners in PrimeDice ..where he was also involved. (I think I read somewhere that there are a court case about this, where one of the previous partners that were excluded from the new venture.... are claiming that it was his idea.)
468  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Christmas Bonuses - Suggestions Anyone? on: December 22, 2023, 06:26:41 AM
Stake.com are not just hosting their $10 000 000 wagering contest, they also do multiple drops during the day for the Xmas month and they also "rain" a lot more than ussual in the chat channels.

You obviously have to wager atleast $15 000 to qualify to claim for all of the drops and also $3000 per week to stand a chance to catch the rain.

Also watch out for Eddie's Xmas stream on Saturday.... it is ussually a big event.  Grin
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another year is going to end. Bitcoin isn't dead on: December 22, 2023, 06:15:32 AM
Well, it might be that the competitors and shills received the message that social media FUD are not very affective any more. People do not trust everything that are posted online and they cross check the facts now.

There are also a lot of Bitcoin supporters that are monitoring the FUD that are posted and they are posting counter arguments to destroy the integrity of these shills.😜😜😜
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have any one had experiences with banned bank/providers because of gambling? on: December 21, 2023, 12:44:45 PM
Banks will always work with the government to protect an out flow of their local currency, so they will block suspicious activity on your account. There are capital control restrictions and this gets reported to the government, if people regularly transfer money to international services, without following the guidelines for cross border transfers.

Gambling operations are also used by money laundering syndicates to "clean" dirty (criminal) money, so Banks will monitor those transactions and even block money that are going towards these kinds of sites.  Roll Eyes

Bitcoin is border less...  Wink
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local Base Or International Based Online Casino on: December 21, 2023, 12:36:50 PM
I think people living in countries where gambling are banned, might opt to use the local "illegal" street gambling options or gamble online on international online casinos and risk losing all their money when those casinos block their accounts. (The pull towards gambling will outweigh the risk of gambling from restricted countries)

There are ways to bypass the regional restrictions (VPNs) and people will exploit those options, until they are asked to verify their real identity... then things become very tricky for them.  Roll Eyes
472  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: December 21, 2023, 12:28:42 PM
It's very interesting thread. I invested in Fun Token when it was a new thing and held them on Freebitco. To be honest, it was not a good investment and my $3000 turned into $300 over time because price of Fun Token fell down.
Fun Token is only a good investment choice if you want to get pure fun from holding it, it's exciting to get some free spins, cashbacks and some FUN tokens on your freebitco account. If you want to gamble, it's really fun but financial wise, it's not going to bring you profit. At least, years have passed and I haven't profited and I don't know if their marketing team is going to do some magic and reach new all-time high.

I also thought it will be a good investment, because they actually created a use case for it ===> gambling. I also bought some tokens after freebitco.in started this investment option, because I know Freebitco.in are huge and all their projects are usually successful.  Tongue

The thing is, there are just too many casinos that are using their own tokens and not a lot of them using the FUN token. It would have been great if some of the bigger casinos started accepting FUN as a gambling currency.
473  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: December 21, 2023, 12:18:18 PM
There was someone in chat yesterday who shared his live stats, he wagered more than $10k and he lost $3 only. I have no idea what to say, but of course he was so lucky yo wager that much he lost few dollar only. I do not know what game he played and how he played it, but he must have a strategy for it. Although strategy is not always working but it is just a rare and lucky situation if we can wager 10k without losing too much.

I suspect he was lucky because I also know several ways to do it, but there are always risks. The most commonly used method in sports betting is placing a bet at x1.02 odds, i have taken an example in this screenshot this user bet $1200 at odds x1.02 and win it he needs to place 8-9 more bets to reach $10000 wager, the question is he really taking the risk for just $5-$50? I'm not sure, I mean he definitely has other targets but when he gets 2-3 offers at once why not take them, right? it's extra free money. Meanwhile, for casino games they usually play Plinko with low risk options I remember when my friend tried it last year with $1 base bet and he managed to make a profit of about $10 + wager completed. I assume it was just luck if he repeats it there is no guarantee. So if someone tells you how he completed the wagering basically we don't know how he got through it who knew he only posted 1 of 9 that failed. Dice games are also still widely used but lately Dice has been terrible in 100 rolls we get 4-7 reds even though the win change is 98%.

The one that I saw in the chat room seems to be using different strategy because looking at how many bets he made, he must be playing few cents per bet only which can be assumed that he started the session with small amount only. Of course it was a big luck and I'm sure most of us has experienced the same thing at least once. I experienced similar thing when I was chasing Plat 2 with 50k wager left. I deposited $100 only and I managed to reach 50k wager with that deposit and I did not lose it all if I remember it correctly.
You guys might not believe me, but I did manage to turn a $100 bankroll into a $100K+ wager. It's all pure luck and decision-making when you're in profit and decide to continue gambling. I think Plinko with lower risk is the best strategy to increase your wager.
Well of course just like you guys, that $100 bankroll ended up losing and didn't make any profit.

There are just no way, where you can turn $100 into $100 000 wagered with Plinko! The best I will ever get out of $100 will be in the range between $10 000 to $15 000, if I am really lucky. (Dice)

It is almost impossible to get more than $1000 wagered for every $10 spent, with the RTP being adjusted to pay for all these drops and Xmas goodies. Please share your strategy, because I want to believe that it is possible.
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When do you think Bitcoin ETF will be approved? on: December 21, 2023, 12:09:18 PM
The real question should be.. Why is it so important for some people that a Bitcoin ETF be approved? A lot of people believe that it is better for bitcoins to be distributed to more people and not centralized by some rich institutional investors.

We should also accept that most of these institutional investors are just trigger happy speculators and that they will dump large amounts of bitcoins at the earliest sign of trouble in the market. (This cause wild fluctuation in the Bitcoin price and that is not good for Bitcoin as a currency)  Sad
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has gambling ever whispered you with different strategic prediction measures? on: December 20, 2023, 05:46:36 PM
There are a lot of people with different types of strategies... from rubbing the screen on a slot machine or simply throwing a dice. People are free to use anything that they feel that will help them to achieve success.

In the end it all boils down to math.... and things like the RTP and the house edge and the client and server seed and the RNG. You can do whatever you like, but the math will catch up to you.  Roll Eyes
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your view on this? Is it fun or addiction? on: December 20, 2023, 05:41:33 PM
You are obviously a loser when you fund gambling with debt. You should never gamble with money that you loaned, it is a recipe for disaster. We saw this when people started buying Crypto currencies with credit cards and then those tokens failed and they were stuck with the debt.

I would not make jokes about things like this, because people might interpret this as something very different and they will take loans to gamble. You should say something on this group to stop these kind of posts.  Wink
477  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 20, 2023, 05:34:19 PM
No, this is just how technologies evolve...

You get a pioneer with a good idea and they become very successful... then other people see their success and they start to copycat them. Some of them try to make a success of this, but some scammers also see an opportunity to exploit this, so they jump on the opportunity to scam people.

This is not just happening with online Crypto casinos.... just look at all the scams with ICO's and ShitCoins.  Roll Eyes
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 'Attack on Bitcoin’ Claims Circulate as Transaction Fees Climb Higher on: December 20, 2023, 05:27:30 PM
Well, I say... let them burn their money, if they are doing this to sabotage Bitcoin. Let the miners do their thing and let the developers analyze this threat and implement their counter measures.

We should never forget that Bitcoin is still experimental ... we still need to figure out if the tx fees will be enough to reward the miners.. once the Block reward falls away.

It is just part of the evolution of this technology and ALL other tokens would have collapsed under an attack like this.... Bitcoin is still standing.  Wink
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Whole Concept of Bitcoin is Failing! on: December 20, 2023, 05:16:40 PM
This has nothing to do with governments, it has all to do with "GREED"!

The developers of this technology (Ordinals) to the people invested in this to the miners mining this.... all are motivated by greed. The thing is this, it is a NORMAL part of how this should evolve, we should allow for technologies to use the Blockchain and developers should find solutions to solve the congested Blockchain.

There should be FREEDOM to use the technology and the experiment should adapt with it.... because all other tokens would face the same challenges and they should also adapt to it.  Tongue
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? on: December 18, 2023, 11:48:24 AM
I have spoken to a lot of people with a gambling problem and they say that they will find another activity to occupy their time to keep them from gambling. (Sport activities or hobbies or joining social clubs)

The problem come in when they are alone at home and they see a gambling advertisement or they open their email or their browser and they are spammed by casino ads.  Angry
