I am staking now for a few days, in 2 days from now I shoud receive my first reward. I am very curious/excited how much CLAM it will be  Grin

Block reward is 1 clam + the fees attached to that block.

I'd expect somewhere like 1 clam to 1.01.

Thanks for your answer. So reward is always 1 CLAM + fees. The more CLAM I have, the faster it will stake?

Is there a instruction / manual how to redeem the coin and then claim the clams?

Here is (short) instruction.

Redeem the 0.01 BTC from the MicroSoul coin:

- Peel the securitysticker from the coin
- On the back of the sticker you see the private key
- privatekey is printed very very small, you best can take a picture of it (with your cellphone) and zoom in

some pics:

- disconnect from internet
- start your Bitcoin-Qt and open the console
- unlock your wallet: walletpassphrase YOURWALLETPASSPRHASE 6000
- import the private key: importprivkey PRIVATEKEYFROMSTICKER
- stil will take while and then you will see a new address with 0.01 BTC
- close Bitcoin-Qt, reconnect to internet and restart it (now your wallet is locked again)

if you want to redeem the 4.6055 CLAM you best empty the new address, so send the 0.01 BTC to another address you own.

- start Clam client
- open the console and type: importprivkey PRIVATEKEYFROMSTICKER import true
- now the client imports the key, may look like the clients hangs or does not respond, no worries just wait several minutes
- after a while you will see a new clam address loaded with 4.6055 CLAM

this is the way I do it, sure there are other ways. If people have better ways, plese let us know all good tips are welcome.

Awesome that they were blessed with a free pass into the CLAM family Grin

Good luck!

Actually all Casascius and most the Lealana coins have CLAM.
Kinda overlooked when the physical coins are traded.

You're right, all physical coins that were funded (above dust) on may 12th 2014 have CLAM. I wonder if there are people that will redeem the private key (for the loaded BTC) and to redeem the CLAM now, or maybe later when CLAM goes up and up and up.

I think for the MicroSoul coin you could redeem the private key now to redeem both BTC and CLAM. The coin still has it brass/gold value and you can use it as a DIY coin again (you only need a new tempered-sticker).

Check this out ! I found out that all my MicroSoul 0.01 coins is have for sale contain CLAM.

Is this first physical CLAM coin ? Grin in some way it is I guess  Cheesy

I have 40 coins left for sale:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1149808

That's quite an added bonus to the value.

It is indeed. I already sold 60 of these coins, so those buyers have that extra CLAM too (if they haven't redeemded the 0.1 BTC before may 12th 2014), I hope they do find out about it.

Is there a tutorial how to setup a CLAM Node with a raspberry Pi ? I sure would like to run a CLAM node.
Not aware of a "guide"; but, there was a user just a few pages back in the forum here who did just that!
Maybe, between the two of you, you could get a guide together for the community?
can you give a link? I read the last 20 pages but did not find it... Tongue

They were running it on a similar device; not exactly a raspberry pi.

Don't have the time at the moment to dig Sad  Was it chilly2k, maybe?  Can't remember Sad

Not me,  I'm on an Ubuntu server...  Cheesy

Although the raspberry pi is a cool idea.  To many other projects.

Ubuntu is no problem too, if I can get it running on that I might get it running on a raspberry too. Can you share some details about the node-install on ubuntu chilly2k? thanks
