1421  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM REPORT] Bitmart.com SCAM, stolen over $100k on: August 12, 2023, 11:04:13 AM
@OP best option in such case is just to talk with a lawyer specialized in this kind of arguments.
I don't think there is the real interest to scam this amount, otherwise you can try to find an agreement to avoid such loss. I will focus on a solution in real life and not just a complaint here on forum - "my 2 sats"
1422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling scenario that keeps repeating on you on: August 12, 2023, 10:40:21 AM
I think this scenario occurs ... because of the final target!
Always any gambler should not bet to obtain a certain result (and therefore reach a certain objective).
People should gamble only if the result we are betting is advantageous for us, and not for other reasons.

Any bet that is made "to achieve a goal" has the wrong approach from the start.

Make a try and start to focus only in "bets that matters" and not in "I have to reach that target"...
1423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What should I do if the cloudbet casino withdrawal is delayed for more than 56 h on: August 12, 2023, 07:38:05 AM
....
If I successfully withdraw my winning bonus from the cloudbet casino in the next time, I will randomly select 5 viewers from thecommenters below, and give each person a luckybonus of 100 usdt

quoted for reference Roll Eyes

well, about your main question, I will just wait that they process withdrawal and made their check.
if they ask some documents/information just provide it.

It's not some uncommon for a casino make a check before emitting a withdrawal.
For some amounts/conditions this is something that should be done according their internal procedures and avoid frauds etc etc...

@Maris Lunt
since you're talking about a decent sum, at this point, the only way to expedite the receipt of these funds is to file a lawsuit through a third party or by using your own attorney.
don't wait any longer, just evaluate the next steps.

Is it me or are the mens tournaments becoming as unpredictable as the WTA?

I think you're not the only one who think about it Grin .
Basically I see more and more players who manage to win because they are in better physical shape or simply have fewer injuries. Of course players of new generation have a natural advantage...

About Sinner. He is the favorite at this point in the tournament. let's see if he is able to guarantee adequate performance to his ranking  Roll Eyes
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Peer pressure as a substantial gambling catalyst. on: August 11, 2023, 08:15:51 PM
yes, probably friends circle could influence some habits like gambling habits (likewise "lets see an even and bet together, play for xmas card games, or play poker with few friends and many many more examples).
but in the same time, I am not sure this approach have a direct relation with addiction or just driving people to gamble alone/compulsive.
1427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Technology is Changing Sports Betting on: August 11, 2023, 05:07:23 PM
the real change is given by the bots/tools that allow you to automatically place tens/hundreds of bets based on a specific strategy.
this has been one of the best innovation that has elevated the betting games to financial standards.
But meanwhile I think it will still take many years before we see an AI system capable of producing similar winning strategies
1428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Slot Streamers on: August 11, 2023, 05:02:13 PM
I do not like online casino streamers. They are scammers and deceivers. I signed a petition some months ago for online gambling streamers to be banned. These folks which include but not limited to the list the OP has provided make a lot of easy money from every other thing other than gambling. They lead their young viewers astray deep in to the dungeon of gambling addiction. First, the do not gamble with their own money so, they don't even know the real risk involved. I doubt that they even talk about bankroll management. Second, they are paid by the casinos to promote their platforms and they also get paid through affiliate marketing. This is my viewpoint and opinion on the topic.

I understand your point of view very well.
Here in Italy, the advertising of gambling sites is prohibited and you can see the difference after a few years with less banners and promotion posted everywhere.
I understand there is a lot of interest in seeing streamers but seeing someone play a slot machine (and I never know if they are playing for real money or bonus money) is a type of entertainment that doesn't excite me.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots fever on: August 11, 2023, 02:29:35 PM
The first time I tried slots in my life, I use 1Eur to make 240Euro, this was my most joyous day in gambling, it was so unexpected, I freaked out and freaking lost my mind, since then I started believing that gambling do have some surprises when you don't expect them.

The saddest Slots spinning day was when I use 300$ to spin for hours and had on 20$ left, that was where I finally decided to cash out, I felt bad for a week before I got over it, that was when I started having a gambling limit in mind.

Till today, I have had some losses and also some fine hits, what about you guys? Do you have any Slots spinning story to share? I'm sure some people are more lucky than many others.

If you feel bad, you are not happy from your gambling experience, just avoid to bet!
Nothing more, it's useless waste time in something that is not a pleasure for you.

I think that with your example you have described the most typical experience with slots. Big luck at start and then struggling for a minimum return Sad that's why I play only to collect bonus.
1430  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTB Bitcoin related article in magazine 2011-2014 on: August 11, 2023, 02:19:43 PM
WTB if you have any magazine 2011-2014 that has a Bitcoin article or on the cover bitcoin.
I may or may not have it please post what you have.

1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) In Gambling on: August 10, 2023, 03:54:08 PM
this is one of the few diseases that one can wish for Roll Eyes ?
Seriously, joke aside, this is a well-known problem and it's not just something that can be related to gambling.

I completely understand OP's point "bounty period".
Personally I experienced a certain lack of interest in other economic activities at that time, but I don't know if it could be connected to such a syndrome.

I am very skeptical that in this portfolio there is a chance for a x22!
I have many doubts also in medium term (10 years) if there is only one of these coins capable of making a rise like this...

In general, the "top 10" of altcoins has changed constantly over the years.
What is currently at the highest levels of capitalization will maintain it over time...
1434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can 1 satoshi be worth $1 in the future? on: August 09, 2023, 06:11:45 AM
we cannot be sure if this will happen in the future, but taking a very broad (if not infinite) horizon and considering bitcoin an innovation that "lasts" over time...
I would say yes, that it is possible that 1 satoshi reaches 1 dollar.
The real question is... "when"?
I hardly believe we will still be alive to enjoy this moment... meanwhile we continue to wait patiently... Roll Eyes

Those that keep their gambling habit a secret is it that they're not proud of what they are doing?.

Why is it necessary to provide this private information?
like or dislike a certain thing, why does it have to be told to other people?
the real question is this.
why provide this information? personally, I find it quite useless regardless of gambling habit or not...

1438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PYUSD a.k.a Paypal USD on: August 07, 2023, 05:07:21 PM
Centralized tokens to be used in a centralized blockchains. The opposite of crypto evolution.
I am not using paypal since 10 years now. vast majority of transactions are done just with bitcoin. Others are managed with direct card payment (not reversible).
I am not missing their service and their horrible ToS.

Cerundolo is playing now against Galarneau (Candian player) in Toronto atp master 1000.

What is really strange in this match was the odd... Cerundolo to win.
At start of the match was @1.35/1.40.
After he scored the first break point @1.20
After he scored the second break point @1.10.
Never seen such high odds in similar event, [Cerundolo leading 5-2]
1440  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why don't land-based casinos have an online version? on: August 07, 2023, 05:55:55 AM
those who frequent a live casino are not the typical frequenter of a virtual casino.
there is a strong difference between the two activities and although some brands are "strong" in the area or for a certain circle of bettors, for others they would be completely unknown so the advantage of having a strong brand practically no longer exists.

in my country there are just few "house of games" (in Italy casino are called in that way) but no one has a brand... and yes I know some famous international casino but they have something like zero appeal here ....
