In Italy we already have a banking service that offers storage (and direct purchase and sale) - Hype - Banca Sella.
Storing some sats on these services (a sort of hot wallet) is an excellent option for everyday expenses, or simply for exchanging FIAT/BTC and vice versa.... entrusting all saving to a product of this kind obviously not....
I believe that these services are always necessary to increase the diffusion of btc among "ordinary" people.

I think that "the goal" is missing in this case from your equation.
what do you want to get from this type of saving?
Protect capital against inflation? earn interest expense? fear of problems related to the stability of your country?
I personally would avoid to hold value in stablecoins than in other ways.
The absence of clear regulatory clarifications or international agreements is not an easy thing.
Moreover, not only are you trusting the stability of the FIAT sector, but you are entrusting yourself to a company that asks you to accept a ToS...

if you are looking for the "casino chance", I would advise you to focus on altcoins.
a generic coin (likewise a memecoin) is more likely to make a higher rally than bitcoin in a given period.
if, on the other hand, you try to buy to get a "value back", or you have not set a specific time frame, you should point to buy bitcoin or at least for a coin that you can use in some way (for example by staking it, paying for services, etc...)

there are probably a lot more attempts to hack an exchange than hack a casino!!! It's more rewarding for sure! But if you go to see in detail the cases exchanges get hacked or in which there was actually a failure due to an external attack are actually not that frequent  and mostly can be related to scams etc.... |
