1.some ICO opened , and most of people try to invest , ( like ICO with a huge MVP behind it )
2.some shit token created , like a few month ago , many many shit token/spam token, send mass of transaction to all eth address.

Still, what I don't get is why we have too many digital assets trying to solve the same problems. Yeah, I get it blockchain is immutable, but most of these projects make crypto look bad.
IMO, it simply looks like the attempt of some whales to scale up their portfolio in BTC and possibly ETH or other more credible platforms.
We see new projects almost every day; and across their community groups (especially telegram) the most audible comments are 'when exchange...', 'when Binance...' As if that's all that really matters.
I may not have the facts, but my gut says well over 50% of these assets aren't faring well. And these are people's investments.
Is there something that could be done about upcoming ICOs with nothing to show (no MVP), to reduce the risks of investing in projects that will just flop?

They use alt/BTC pairs and there are very few coins with alt/USDT pairs, so in order to trade a coin, we need to always have BTC, but BTC itself has huge fluctuations and at the end of the day we don't know where it's going to be stabilized, especially if we are investing for relatively short time.
I emailed Binance, but I didn't receive any response. Why they don't use Tether pairs?

Last year in early december I bought eBitcoin token which turned out to be a scam. Luckily for me I sold them before the ePRX snapshot but alot others have made losses. I really believed this token would be a succes but I've realized that alot of these ERC20 tokens have the same things in common. The devs (or better said scammers) create alot of hype and pretend their token to be the real deal while they never intended to create a working product. I've thought about investing in tokens like Credits and Elixir but I'm afraid they are all the same kind of scam.

well most of them, but i dont judge like that. actually u can see most of top 100 is erc 20 token EOS also came from erc20 token for funding project. the point of it. like another , we must research first before joining. but why on erc20 too many scam cases ? probably because its too easy to create,i guess, of course, i never create erc 20 before. |

Have you ever wonder why Ethereum also dropped its value so bad yesterday the same as Bitcoin?
Bitcoin has different blockchain with Ethereum, meaning they don't have a connection with each other, as well as they don't even have the same platform. But why the value is a constraint? Yesterday the Bitcoin drops its value due to some manipulation where some whales take out 10K BTC as per cryptocurrency news.
The question is why is it Ethereum also drops its value the same as Bitcoin? No question about the other cryptocurrencies because we all know most of them to rely on Bitcoin & Ethereum. Did whales or group of people manipulate Ethereum the same as what they did to Bitcoin manipulation?
What is your opinion on this matter?

Just watching the DOGE chart. I am in 24 hours before the demo last wednesday (and was spared the bitcoin bloodbath and actually am up 2% overall). Got in at 69 sat/doge.
My speculation is that if they announce the demo as awarded the bounty, that signals adoption of the bridge and we will test $0.01/Doge (+98% from here).

I sold some DOGE a few days ago at 84 sat when such a nice spike occured  Unfortunately, Dogecoin founder posted a tweet that calmed down all the FOMO around DOGE/ETH bridge so I don't expect our "Shiba coin" to go up significantly. well me too, after i hodl some doge since 3 july actually i just want to reduces withdrawal fee, but my account got some problem then after 2 months i suprised because my usd based balance on my account really incrases. |
