si, anche da un potenziale attacco quantistico. e' sempre buona norma non tenere grandi valori su un address che ha avuto transazioni in output. ti ringrazio, non sapevo questa cosa. Il trust negativo - se dato dal gruppetto dei pretoriani - te lo può togliere solo chi te lo ha dato. Così magari ti spieghi l'abbondanza di sviolinate e leccate nella zona internazionale. La cosa interessante è che questi Catoni redivivi hanno una serie chilometrica di trust negativi (basta guardare) ma siccome sono dati da noi poveri mortali e non da un DT non contano. Tra l'altro violando la policy di Theymos, che dice che non si può usare il negative trust per la qualità dei post. Il più divertente è un Jr.Member - non faccio nomi, ma si vede subito chi è - che pubblica decine di post al giorno con invettive che neanche un Savonarola castigatore dei costumi avrebbe pronunciato, dà negative trust a tutti (che fortunatamente non contano), e non a caso ha già tirato su qualche centinaio di merits dai Legendaries... Non vedo molti merit in sezione Italian, potrei fare un thread di Bounty per i migliori post. Che ne pensate?
Mi sembra una buona idea. Però in sezione internazionale, ho letto qualche matto che si è messo a dare trust negativi per merit bounty. Non credo ci sia gente così in sezione italiana comunque. Questo sistema di sicuro funziona bene nel far impazzire alcuni utenti  In questo caso i moderatori potrebbero togliere il trust? nessuno puo togliere un trust negativo l'unica cosa che si puo fare é tirar via dalla DT il suddetto personaggio o farlo desistere a colpi di trust negativi o dare trust positivi al malcapitato in questo senso, il forum é stato gia sempre un far west... anche se non ci sono stati particolari casi di prepotenze, nel caso ci siano stati sono intervenuti come sopra (DT soprattutto) perchè non contanto i suoi trust negativi? e per quale motivo i Legendaries vorrebbero riempire tutti con dei trust negativi? spero davvero non solo per la sign campaign... |

provo a spiegarlo semplicemente: - La sicurezza degli indirizzi di bitcoin si basa su an algoritmo a chiavi pubbliche e chiavi private. - questo genere di algoritmi si basa sul fatto che c'e' un'operazione facile fa fare, che permette di trovare la chiave pubblica partendo dalla chiave privata, ma invece trovare la chiave privata partendo dalla pubblica e' un'operazione difficilissima, praticamente infattibile in tempi umani, con i computer tradizionali e gli algoritmi tradizionali noti. - ci sono algoritmi quantistici che permetto di rendere "facile" anche la seconda operazione, inficiando (se e quando esistera' un computer quantistico sufficentemente potente, direi ben superiore a 1000 qbit) la sicurezza della chiave privata (per approfondimenti cercare Shor's discrete logarithm quantum algorithm for elliptic curves) - pero' finche' un indirizzo NON SPENDE i soldi ricevuti, cioe' non c'e' nessuna operazione in output, la chiave pubblica non viene esposta, quindi non c'e' modo di applicare un eventuale algoritmo quantistico per svelare anche la chiave privata. - per ora non viene percepito come problema imminente... ci sono molti indirizzi da migliaia di bitcoin che hanno fatto operazioni in output, e quindi hanno la chiave pubblica esposta, ma non si preoccupano di spostarli (che e' comunque una cattiva abitudine) quindi di base se io creo un nuovo seed, mando all'indirizzo di questo seed i miei btc e da tale seed non faccio partire niente verso fuori, sto al sicuro? |

in effetti il ledger supporta molte coin in più. Per me per esempio l'assenza di ark, stellar, ripple sono un po' un problema, ma uno deve ragionare anche sulla percentuale che le altre coin hanno sul proprio portafoglio. In ogni caso, buona analisi! |

Do you remember how nice and challenging the discussions have been here around two years ago? Many brilliant and outstanding minds were brainstorming productively about how things can be made better, about flaws in the initial designs and constantly improved upon all the little challenging design questions that emerged as time progressed? Well, that was the time where the passion and the fun developing this thing were gaining new heights every day. This is also when it was fun to share the latest discoveries and expose them to public discussion.
Things unfortunately rapidly changed with the recent growth of the crypto bubble which seems to have attracted a very special specimen of mankind and almost killed even the last spark of passion that all these wonderful crypto projects deserve. Yes, I am talking about these self-proclaimed "investors", those who buy a token from some other guy and just don't understand that the only think they did was to simply buy a token from some random third party on the internet. Instead, they really believe they have some shares, voting rights or whatever in some company which does not exist. Lol, I mean they really believe that when they buy a Diet Coke from a street vendor (not even from Coca Cola itself) in the Central Park, they can show up at the next Coca Cola board meeting, pretend to be "investors" and make all sorts of demands. This is crazy! Besides, these people have just one agenda - get rich quick. And to achieve that, they hang around the slack channel like fucking vultures trying to make everyone work according to their schedule. The schedule of course only has one objective - increasing their own benefit. The progress of the project isn't even on their radar, that's why they would be also fine with updates that are no real updates at all - as long as you can use them to hype (or scare away) the crowd ...
If you happen to be in a good mood and give an update, those people immediately exploit your good will to use that information in some pump (or dump) schemes - for example in those telegram groups. This, how could it be different, just multiplies the problem and drags in more of these guys. Some have been fooled by those pump groups, some want to pump even more - so they come to the channel again (each one with different motives) and press hard to force the "long time lurkers" into doing some stupid things that they think might become beneficial to them. The one wants "marketing", the other an "update", yet another wants commitments - but none of them really wants the project lol.
You won't believe how blunt these requests are. What these people just don't understand is: nobody will be doing any of this crap, nobody will listen to any random selfish requests and nobody will support any pumps on telegram groups! Every single request like "give me update! I am an investor" is just a waste of the time typing these words. It's just as if your dog stood up on his hind legs and said "fuck this shit! I'm outta here!". It just won't happen.
Since this is the dominating picture at the moment, I am sure that it is forgivable that those people, who once were so passionately engaged in this, dodge the bullet and run for the hills. What do you expect. I am almost finished and it is my personal goal to finish that (in my eyes very sophisticated) system as we have discussed it. But really, with these second generation crypto people around, I will make sure to not focus any less on making a good documentation so that someone else (with stronger nerves) can adopt what I have done and hopefully improve upon it.
I am by the way not generalising this, I know that most of you guys are honest and that your heart is in the right place. The problem is that even if only 1% are like this (so out of 10.000 slack users, 100 go nuts), it is already enough to kill any remaining attraction - it must be the negativity bias!

consiglio di usare tutte e due, cosi' da capire come funziionano e diversificare anche in termini di wallet.. non si sa mai, se uno si rompe o viene hackerato/perso/rubato
trezor avra' un nuovo modello in uscita a marzo se non mi sbaglio
il nuovo trezor era previsto per gennaio addirittura. Stanno molto in ritardo. Io mi ero iscritto alla mailing list a dicembre per capire quando sarebbe stato possibile ordinarlo di nuovo...ma nada fino ad adesso. Spedscono a febbraio a chi ha preordinato il modello T, anche i ledger nano sono solo in preorder con spedizione a fine marzo ho preso il modello vecchio. Credo che i nuovi trezor per chi non è riuscito a fare il preorder arriveranno chissà quando..forse aprile. |

Ciao!!! Personalmente non avevo sentito questa notizia su MyEtherWallet. Stavo decidendo proprio in questi giorni quale wallet utilizzare per i token ERC20, ma mi pare di aver capito che MEW rimane cmq una scelta affidabile. Me lo confermate?
Se prima di muovervi studiate, non fate certe domande. ricordate che state giocando con i vostri soldi. Studiatevi cos'è un wallet e come funziona MEW.. A meno che non venga ALTERATO APPOSITAMENTE dal proprietario o un Hacker, MEW è sicuro.. ma se avete dubbi.. mew + METAMASK ed il problema è risolto in quanto le chiavi non escono dal vostro pc..
