Os admins foram muito sábios em deixar isso "rolar" e se isentar da responsabilidade de acusar ou não essa prática.

No "moral", sabemos o quanto é frustrante ver alguém chegando por aqui com uma conta "upada", entrar em campanhas de assinaturas por exemplo e roubar o espaço de alguém que está batalhando ou que já batalhou um monte para chegar aos níveis mais altos.
Felizmente não é muito difícil identificar compra/venda de contas, seja por padrões de escrita, mudança de idiomas ou até cruzamento de informações.
A decisão é da comunidade e o sistema de reputação funciona lindamente para coibir a maioria desses casos.

Não quero dizer que a quantidade de postagem é irrelevante, pois afinal quanto mais posts mais a "propaganda" do patrocinador aparece, porém os merits também deveriam ser mais explorados nos pagamentos, talvéz como uma métrica de multiplicação afim de beneficiar quem se destaca na comunidade.

Atualmente os merits são utilizados (nas campanhas de assinaturas) apenas para auxiliar na escolhar ou recusa de um novo membro. Em alguns casos eu vi campanhas exigindo uma determinada quantidade de merits por semana, mas acho que também não rolou (ainda bem).

Se esses rumores foram desmentidos e de fato é uma verdade, então qual é o motivo dessa investigação?
Pelo que vi na matéria e também o pouco que consegui pesquisar, não há nada concreto contra a "tal".
