601  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: CAMPANHAS DE ASSINATURAS ATUALIZADAS on: October 22, 2023, 02:55:04 PM

Bem bacana o sistema deles

Pôxa, é esse mesmo o convite do qual recebi, nem sabia que ainda estavam aceitando inscrições após tanto tempo.
602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your nice hit to leave the casino. on: October 22, 2023, 02:46:24 PM
As a gambler, from when I leave the house down to the casino prior to getting there I normally project specific amount that should I probably hit am turning around to leave for home immediately. And am quite sure am ain't the only one who have for one  had this plan thought wrapped in his head, some persons might have too.

Just in case, what amount will be looking like a nice hit for you to leave a casino just immediately for maybe your first, second or third hit on the machine as you have just walked in?

Unfortunately in my country physical casinos are prohibited, so I can't give an answer about my habits.
However, I believe that people should go to a casino with limits on amounts and time to spend, with the same discipline that they should have in an online casino.

If I went to a casino and won a lot of money in the first 10 minutes, I would certainly still continue playing, as my intention of crossing the border (going to another country) to play would certainly be for fun and not just to make money.
Obviously I would try not to spend all the money I earned from other bets, but I confess that would be complicated Tongue
603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your doubt has no effect on gambling. on: October 22, 2023, 02:38:47 PM
Yesterday, I booked a bet, but, fine if difficult to stake, because I thought the game was going to be lost. But here it is I won the best. I stake the bet at $0.13, and I won $49 in total. I have gotten several winnings in the past week, but I would like to say that I didn't expect the game to play accordingly the way I predicted it. Why? Because I haven't bet on the same predictions throughout all the games before, but yesterday I did it. That's why I said I didn't expect to win the game.

A friend of mine always says, game way go cut, go cut and game way go enter, go enter, and yes that's true, this game was supposed to, play accordingly, and it finally did, even with my doubts.

However, I will say that even your doubt can not make a game that you are supposed to win lose, because gambling doesn't work with mindset, it works with the risk and not your fear. Why the risk is because if you don't risk your money in gamble, you will not lose or even win.

Indeed, that is the beauty of betting.
We often bet based on predictions and winning probabilities. On other occasions we bet based on emotions, because we are supporting a team that we really like or because we have the intuition that this will be the result that will occur, even if it goes against the predictions.

The important thing about a bet is that you must always believe in it, and not be influenced by emotions or doubts during the course of the bet (after it has already been decided. If you lose because you bet wrong, that's okay. The problem is when you lose because you decided to change your bet after having already defined a strategy, this hurts a lot.

Vocês acham que tem chance do projeto renascer?

Ah sim, claro Roll Eyes

606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much do you Value your Privacy in Gambling? on: October 21, 2023, 01:46:02 AM

So, for some days now, I've had this thought of "how much some people really value their privacy in gambling", like as a gambler, you signed up on a new casino and immediately, you are allowed to deposit and play without going through a KYC verification process like we do on some casinos immediately after registration.
You start playing and luckily, you won a significant amount of money.

~~~~
Hard question!
In the case of a reputable casino with a good reputation, I would certainly go through the required KYC process if necessary to be able to withdraw my prize.
However, if it's in a new casino and I don't have confidence in it, then it becomes more difficult...
Firstly, I would look for reviews and feedback, if I find a lot of negative things then I would certainly give up the prize, as the probability of doing KYC and still not receiving anything is very high.
But even if it is a new casino, if I find a good thread about it here on bitcointalk, and positive feedback, I would probably do KYC in hopes of receiving my prize.
607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CONMEBOL 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification (South America) on: October 21, 2023, 01:40:34 AM
I wouldn't say Brazil is in crisis, and I cannot pick out any player to a portion blame for the defeat, it was a team's performance and Uruguay was the better side. Every record at some point is going to be broken and their 37 matches unbeaten run in the CONMEBOL qualifiers since 2015 has come to an end. Though, the game was one of their worst performance as they failed to register a shot on target but there's still 14 more matches to be played. I think they can turn things around and make the cut for the 2026 Fifa world cup as they have never fail to qualify for the Fifa world cup since inception.
In fact, the current situation is not at all pleasant for Brazilians who follow the Brazilian football team.
With this defeat to Uruguay, Brazil lost its unbeaten run of 37 matches in World Cup qualifiers.
Worse than that, I'm worried about the injury to Neymar, our main player, who if it's really serious with his knee, he could be unable to play for up to 6 months.
But... Brazil still occupies third place on the leaderboard and I don't believe that its classification for the World Cup is at risk.
Brazil urgently needs to define whether Ancelotti will come as coach or whether we will continue with Fernando Diniz, the team needs a technical definition for the direction of the selection.
608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 21, 2023, 01:31:21 AM
I want to pose a question that I believe is quite expensive for many of us here, and it's a dilemma most of us can relate to. We all know that gambling is a game where we put our luck to the test. However, there's a crucial moment in every gambler's journey. the moment when you hit that big win. Do you cash out and savor your victory, or do you continue playing in hopes of even bigger winnings?
Both!!!
I believe that it is necessary to withdraw a good part of the winnings, but reserve a balance to continue playing.
And in my opinion, "bankroll management" is one of the fundamental principles that determine the player's decision to continue betting or withdraw his winnings after obtaining a big win, as it allows the player to make a very sensible approach to preserve his money, allowing the player to continue playing in a responsible and prolonged manner.
To apply this stall management, you need to consider some important points:
- Determine a budget: Establish spending and earning limits, decide how much you want to spend without compromising your personal finances, and even if you earn a lot of money, withdraw it and disregard it from your limits.
- Set a percentage approach, where you decide to bet only a specific percentage of your budget on each bet, regardless of the results you get. Or, set winning and losing limits, so that when you reach it, you should stop playing.
But, I still like the “progressive withdrawal” approach, where I withdraw part of my winnings and reinvest the rest, so I can enjoy the fruits of my victories and still have the opportunity to earn more.
609  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Cédula de 50 Reais está circulando e contem seed contendo 0,03 BTC on: October 20, 2023, 01:35:02 AM
Em dezembro de 2022 o perfil @soul_bitcoin anunciou no seu twitter que colocou em circulação uma nota de 50 reais contendo as 12 palavras de uma seed de Bitcoin com saldo de 0,03 BTC.
Isso é bem controverso viu!!!
Galera que usa o Bitcoin é ligada em tecnologia, utiliza cartão de crédito e PIX. Eu por exemplo tenho uns trocado na carteira para quando preciso comprar algo em que, pasmem, só aceita dinheiro ainda... como o vendedor de picolé (muito já aceitam pix também).
Então, já tem a dificuldade das pessoas repararem que a cédula está marcada... muitas pegam e já guardam sem conferir. Aí tu aumente ainda a dificuldade para o fato de que a maioria das pessoas que mexem com dinheiro sequer saberão o que é Bitcoin, o máximo que deve ocorrer é alguém pensar que isso aí é algum ritual/crendice de alguém.
Opa, não vou estar por lá, mas acho que o @TryNinja já voltou de sua "volta ao mundo", tô muito interessado em ver ele postando uma foto aqui de sua presença nesse evento Tongue
Eu sempre achei que a Bitconf que era o maior evento cripto no Brasil, mas vendo melhor o site deles sobre o evento desse ano (https://satsconf.com.br/), confesso que fiquei impressonado. Que "lugar secreto" será que é esse em que vai ocorrer o evento do dia 5? A @Disruptivas deve ser uma das privilegiadas que tem um spoiler para nos dar Roll Eyes
Enfim, eu não vou, mas falando de preços (que não vi nesse tópico ainda), o segundo lote está com ingressos à R$ 210,00 e pagando com BTC tem um descontinho camarada de 21% (VINTE E UM foi dahora), nada mal!!
611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do your parents know about your gambling habit ? on: October 20, 2023, 01:16:53 AM
Most of the grown up people do not live with parents. At such, the parents are not aware about the interests and habits of individuals. Do you parents know that you gamble ? What was their first reaction towards your gambling habit ?
I'm an adult, so I don't need to tell my parents that I'm gambling.
However, looking at it another way, I would really like my son to tell me if he starts playing too. Currently, only my wife knows that I play, because I do it very rarely and I still manage to "hide" it from my son.
The problem with young people is that many of them dream of getting rich quickly and effortlessly, and when they are prematurely introduced to gambling they end up seeing them as the perfect "opportunity" to achieve that goal, but these dreams and hopes are deceiving at the time. of the game, overestimating the real chances of victory.
It is very important that parents maintain dialogue with their children, so that children feel safe talking to their parents when they discover gambling, as this can happen through friends too.
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some gambling questions. on: October 20, 2023, 01:08:32 AM
How many percent of signature earnings you gamble away?
10%
I believe it is an ideal value, because with less than that you cannot have fun, more than that could even be acceptable if we only consider the gains from the campaign, but I am a conservative person.
Do you prefer Fiat or crypto at a display currency?
Crypto... I value casinos that accept deposits and payments involving it.
What is your favorite game you play all the time?
Sports games, especially football
What is your favorite casino platform?
I have several, half a doubt about them, but I'm not going to advertise for free Tongue
I recommend Duelbits!!!
Are you a responsible gambler?
Yes, very safely!
I have financial and time limits, I rarely go beyond them.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think gambling is inbuilt, kids don't learn it anywhere, they do it! on: October 20, 2023, 01:02:08 AM
The Australian Government once said about abolishing gambling ads as a means of reducing gambling activities amongst underage people. But, I think they'll be no successful way of stopping young people from gambling. As it's in them. Most articles here also say things like gambling addiction being hereditary. That means gambling can be hereditary as well. Because I just watched from a distant two kids below 10 years, staking bets, after a long argument about who the artiste of a specific song is. They later staked close to 40 cents each, for the person who gets the answer right. Then they went ahead to verify. And I lost sight of them. I thought about, how come or who thought these kids about betting money during a long argument. I was able to memorize, back when I was a kid. We easily said, how much would you bet if it turns out I'm saying the truth; during an argument. It made me understand that, despite during those days we had no phones or access to the internet, gambling is somehow embedded to the brain of humans. Then, as a child, we weren't exposed to gambling. I could only remember of lotto, as a kid. But we still said things like "let's bet it"
When I was a child, I also challenged my friends a lot with that typical phrase: "I'll bet with you... on a certain thing".
However, at that time the bets were always some sweets, the loan of a toy or even the completion of a challenge, it was never a bet involving money.
The problem nowadays is not exactly gambling among children, but rather the fact that they are "learning" from a very early age that all that matters in this life is "making money". They no longer see life with the objective of being happy, nowadays life teaches them from an early age that it is necessary to earn money to have a future. That's the problem.
Banning gambling helps, don't say otherwise, at least it makes fewer children enter the world of gambling at an early age. However, this also depends on what the world in which she lives is like.
614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ? on: October 19, 2023, 12:24:17 AM
Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ?
Surely, why should anyone do otherwise!?
If someone prefers to leave their wife/husband or even their friends because of gambling, then they are certainly already sick and need to review their gambling habits.
Gambling needs to be seen as a form of entertainment and should never interfere with the relationships we have with other people.
I believe, however, that there should be a "middle ground" making it possible to reconcile gambling with family relationships or friendships.
However, if this is not possible, we should certainly prioritize friends and family, always!
615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question for those who loose too frequently in gambling on: October 19, 2023, 12:20:44 AM
I have often wondered about the people who have lost a lot in gambling and who almost loose in every gambling activity they participate. What is their reason or motivation to continue even after so many losses?
Fun! Entertainment! Cool
Why do you spend money to go to the cinema or the bar? Why spend money buying electronic games that certainly don't give you any financial return?
Answer.... to have entertainment.
In the same sense, why should it be any different for gambling?
I honestly still can't believe that there are people who can't see gambling as a form of entertainment. Please... get it into your head that the main purpose of gambling is not to make money.
Obviously everyone plays with the intention of making money, this is one of the objectives of the game, but it shouldn't be the main one.
That's why we have so many people addicted to gambling... they don't understand that gambling should be a moment of leisure and not a means of making money.
Já imaginou se o Theymos lança uma atualização e moderniza a parada toda aqui no bitcointalk?
acredito que eu acharia muito estranho, provavelmente levaria umas semanas para se acostumar
acho tão bom vir aqui no forum nesse estilo retrô web1.
até mesmo o fato de não ter opção de dark mode não me incomoda pq esses tons de cinza e azul não machucam muito os olhos
Alguém já falou sobre essas possibilidades antes?
Cara, eu sinceramente já achei bem "paia" aquela versão de testes que estavam/estão ensaiando já faz um tempão.
Eu sou véio também, da época de ICQ, MIRc e por aí vai... então eu prefiro que fique do jeito que está, pois também adoro esse estilo visual.
Seria muito bacana se o SMF tivesse uma responsividade minimamente funcional para dispositivos móveis, ou então algum plugin (desde que confiável) que nos permita escrever, selecionar textos, dar quote, inserir emoticons e outros sem sofrer com o zoom ou posicionamento do cursor. Mas... desde que não estrague aquilo que já funciona muito bem no desktop, senão... deixa quieto também.
Vou ser sincero, achei ela interessante e até mesmo convidativa, custando o valor de aproximadamente $ 64.99 (no site oficial)
Opa, bacana!!
Melhor que Ledger Nano que custa $ 86,00 e umas "brechas oficiais de ataque".
Sobre funcionar sem cabo ou bluetooth, fiquei curioso... como que é feito a sincronização/envio/recebimento com ela usando um computador? Somente atravéz da câmera e leitura de qrcodes? Se for.... bacana demais Cheesy
Sobre a tal da Ledger Stax que o @nikolaspaolo comentou... tô fora.
Se eu já confio pouco na minha ledger nano de 5 anos atrás que é bem "não smart", imagina o que essas novas versões não devem ter "embarcado" após as últimas mancadas da Ledger.... se oque sabemos deles já é controverso, imagina aquilo que ainda é desconhecido.
618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sustainable Approach For Your Earnings in Gambling on: October 18, 2023, 01:34:01 AM
And what happens if you experience a losing streak?
It would have been a great guide if only you have control of your gambling outcome—> so if it turns out that you are not lucky and your game does not come out like you have planned this guide becomes somewhat useless.
A good player is much more prepared for a losing streak than for a glorious victory.
Defeats are part of a player's life, so even "successful" players may have experienced several defeats in a row but never witnessed the same winning streak or grand victory. This is because they know how to manage risks and be successful with small, sporadic victories.
But even good players, who have experienced many defeats, would often not know how to handle a big victory.
The most important thing, I believe it is the third item mentioned.... immediately withdraw 80% of the winnings and continue playing as if "nothing had happened".
It takes a lot of self-control in these moments, to contain the emotion of victory and continue playing as planned. If this is not possible, it is best to stop playing for a while until you can recover emotionally.
619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: October 18, 2023, 01:18:38 AM
I know that by the next World Cup, Lionel Messi is going to be 39 and Cristiano Ronaldo is probably going to be 41/42 if I am not wrong. But I still want to see these two play for their own country in the World Cup final, to be honest. Maybe it is just me. Maybe it is just my emotions talking. For the longest time, I wanted to see the World Cup being lifted by Lionel Messi. now I have seen that happen.
Now I do want to see Cristiano Ronaldo lifting the World Cup trophy as well. I don't know, maybe it will not happen. But it would definitely be really something to see. And Lionel Messi playing the next World Cup, I think he will play, but we know that he has already won the World Cup. So he will probably be more interested in being a good substitute player instead of a player who will play the whole 90 minutes.
I was researching the oldest players to compete in a World Cup, and curiously these titles belong to goalkeepers. So... seeing a striker playing in a World Cup at the age of 40 is really something "out of the ordinary".
For those who are curious, historically these are the oldest players to play in a FIFA World Cup.
1. Essam El-Hadary – Age: 45 years old
The Egyptian goalkeeper last played for his national team on June 25, 2018. On that occasion, Egypt lost to Saudi Arabia 2-1, but El-Hadary saved a penalty in the match. two.
2. Faryd Mondragón - Age: 43 years old
At the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the Colombian goalkeeper was on the field in Colombia's 4-1 victory over Japan on June 24, 2014. Mondragón entered the field in the 39th minute of the second half, replacing the starting goalkeeper. David Ospina, and even made a save in the last minute, preventing Japan's second goal
3. Roger Milla – Age: 42 years old
The Cameroonian played in three World Cups (1982, 1990 and 1994), his last match being against Russia, in a 6-1 defeat. He even scored the goal of honor for the Cameroonians. Milla also became the oldest player to score a goal in a World Cup.
620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 18, 2023, 01:12:25 AM
That is what Liverpool says for now, but the truth is that there is a price tag for every single player in the world. I was impressed that they refused this offer they got from the Saudi Professional League the last time although I don't know whether it would have ended in a transfer anyway because in the end it is also the player who has to say yes. I am not sure if Salah ever expressed his desire to leave Liverpool and go to a club in the Saudi Professional League. From what I was able to gather, I think that Salah never intended to leave Liverpool in the first place.
Liverpool are not very confident in Salah staying.
Knowing that Saudi Arabia still has an interest in the player, the team is evaluating the best options in the bid market to keep its offensive sector strong.
In other words... no matter how good the scenario is, Liverpool is planning alternatives for Mohamed Salah's possible departure, should that occur. One of these options is striker Leroy Sané, from Bayern Munich. He is also left-footed, like Salah, and could fit very well into Jürgen Klopp's scheme. In the current season, Sané played 11 matches for Thomas Tuchel's team and scored seven goals for the German club.
