You can try to find Geo location in EXIF data, but I'm not sure if I touch stores that info.
1462  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 3 TH/s Bitcoin Mining Hardware KL-YUG by KotakLabs on: November 25, 2013, 03:00:50 PM
And there is no ACH facility offered by Indian Bank accounts. So the money transfer is just one way. From Paypal --> merchant's bank account

What do you mean by that. What is an ACH facility?
Anyway great post and way more useful than talking about power consumption and ROI of vaporware  Roll Eyes

ACH facility means. If a merchant has USA paypal account and link their bank account with Paypal / provide them authorization.
That means, in the event that a user files a dispute or requests refund, then paypal can withdraw money from the bank account.
ACH facility is a two way fund transfer.

Something on those lines. But with Indian bank accounts, that is not possible.

P.S : Someone correct me if am wrong.

That's correct.
Once money is withdrawn Paypal can't do any shit.

Oh btw he changed prices, looks like he wants to scam as much as possible before his paypal account gets locked.
1463  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much are cigarettes in your area? on: November 25, 2013, 10:20:31 AM
Marlboro's price here (india) is around 130 Rupees (2.10$) per pack.
1464  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy now or regret later. on: November 25, 2013, 07:37:45 AM
i figure sooner or later a major retailer/chain will start accepting bitcoin, especially considering all the attention it's getting now. the roller coaster ride is going to get more turbulent, so be prepared.

Richard Branson accepting it is a step in the right direction. Let's hope he'll start accepting it as well for Virgin Airlines and Virgin Media. How awesome would it be being able to buy blurays, cd's or even plaintickets with bitcoin. Let's hope more (big) companies will follow his example.

Just Hope Wallmart or Amazon start accepting BTC.
1465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Simplest way to sell and withdraw 1 BTC in France? on: November 25, 2013, 04:59:04 AM
Did you tried to look in french subforum? Maybe someone will buy, or try other sites like bitcurex.
1466  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Quick, what payment processor is this? on: November 24, 2013, 06:41:34 PM
The U in front seems like Liberty Reserve.

Well no its perfectmoney, because it shows reference number, in LR it was Batch No. And as everyone knows LR is closed but yeah LR accounts were also used to start with "U" prefix.

1469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any e-commerce sites accepting bitcoin? on: November 24, 2013, 09:16:10 AM

Have you had personal experience transacting with bitcoinstore? How's their service? Thanks!

I didn't used them personally yet but you can google "bitcoinstore.com review" and read feedbacks about them.

1472  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Escrow list: Whitelist Ranking & Blacklist - Must view before sending your coins on: November 24, 2013, 06:57:25 AM
I'm sorry but rankings are not correct, since its based on the green number.
Its different for everyone, for example you can see 27 trust ratings on my profile but for others its probably 1 or 0. (Not sure)
So if you want to keep it fair either use the green number a newbie can see (based on default trust) on escrow service providers profile or
Use their total trust feedback.
1473  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Minor Feature Request on: November 23, 2013, 11:49:04 PM
+1  Nice suggestion.

PS: They should also add a option to export private key as QR codes so people can easily import their bitcoin address on mobile phone/tablet.
1474  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 3 TH/s Bitcoin Mining Hardware KL-YUG by KotakLabs on: November 23, 2013, 11:14:25 PM
We shall find out. I ordered one, so far they've sent me an invoice that looks like they never bothered to even put their own image on the letterhead.

I have worked with several startups and I have seen mistakes like this from legitimate companies, so I'll give them benefit of the doubt up to the point when they don't respond to emails or phone calls.

If I actually hear back from them I'll be keeping the preorder, otherwise I'm calling the cc company and disputing as a false charge.

Let's see if KotakLabs can deliver.

Can you post screenshot of invoice? You can hide your personal details.
1475  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Do you need both the seed and the passphrase to send coins from the wallet? on: November 23, 2013, 10:57:14 PM
Edit: you only need seed.

Care to clarify? I would like to know for sure.

Hi sorry for short post i am using tab right now. And link copy paste not working >.<
Anyways, i read about it on reddit.

Seed is a number (encoded in words) from which electrum is able to re-create wallet aka private keys.
Password protects your wallet, if someone got your wallet.dat or access to your pc.

In other words seed is same as private key, thru which you can generate public key, but you don't need password of your wallet.dat file to spend coins,

So once you restore your wallet, you will be able to set a new password.
1476  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Do you need both the seed and the passphrase to send coins from the wallet? on: November 23, 2013, 10:31:20 PM
Edit: you only need seed.
1477  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to delete pending transactions. on: November 23, 2013, 10:00:27 PM
As far as I am aware, it is impossible to delete a transaction you have sent. Doing so would require deleting the transaction from the Bitcoin blockchain.

Even though the current status of the TXs is "Pending", both have been sent. Both TXs now need some more confirmations from other Bitcoin clients before they appear as validated on Electrum.

Nope, you are wrong.
Tx can be deleted as long as its not confirmed.
Pending transaction  = pending for broadcast on network.

If you check my blockchain link of that 0.315 transaction, you will get error now.
Because one of the input of that transaction was a tiny dust amount from a faucet and was probably sent via blockchain.info (api). After 2 days blockchain.info stopped broadcasting that uncofirmed transaction and rest 2 transaction became invalid and got removed automatically.
1478  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User "critical" - Sending Virus links on: November 23, 2013, 07:25:27 PM
Some guy on skype with the name mr_bibi90 trying to get me to install this program.

Just a warning out there for people. Dont accept links from strangers on skype.

XD
I think I know who he is, just a second let me check.

edit: He is Alex Yucel aka Blackshades RAT admin/owner and a known scammer. He's from moldova or sweden probably.

1479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: onlycoin.com on: November 23, 2013, 05:23:05 PM
Its really cool.. but but their simple process of adding cards can get abused easily.
For example, if someone owns this onlycoin device and if by chance he got access to  someone else's credit card, he just need to swap it and take some pictures to make a credit card clone.
