How is the score calculated? In the beginning I had as many as my posts, but now the activity is slacking after!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=464043.0

You get max 14 activity per two week period.

Just watched first episode of House of Cards. Got a feeling I'm gonna blitz through this.

"Every kitten grows up to be a cat. They seem so harmless at first; small, quiet, lapping up their saucer of milk. But once their claws get long enough they draw blood. Sometimes from the hand that feeds them. For those of us climbing to the top of the food chain there can be no mercy. There is but one rule: Hunt or be hunted". - Frank Underwood.

I loved the cufflinks he got, too... I never realized that Frank Underwood ---> F U

Yeah, that was a nice touch. I'm just about to start the fourth episode, but they previous two weren’t as gripping as the first ep.
14707  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's with reddit? on: February 15, 2014, 05:27:51 PM
That's redditors for you. I usually stay away from there unless I have to.

Why?Smiley Reddit is so fun! Smiley and sometimes reeeeaaaly useful!

Fun in the way that apparently Dogecoin is 'fun'?
14708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan Disses Bitcoin on: February 15, 2014, 02:43:21 PM
JPmorgan makes me laugh.. and this is why

to work for JPmorgan and trade currencies you need:
1. to have gone to a top college
2. to own a good suit to wear
3. have a perfect resume/CV
4. hope you out of the other 1000 applicants gets the job

all of this to offer people under 5% interest a year on their investments.

meanwhile yesterday i made 10% in one day, in my underpants.

so when it comes to JPMorgans opinions on the best way to trade currencies.. i find him lacking alot

Haha. I lost 10% yesterday in mine Sad.
14709  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help! - Do i Buy Buy Buy? on: February 15, 2014, 02:39:40 PM
I'm selling at the moment, i'd recommend holding off for a lower price.

Can't imagine them going for any less than what they were, unless there's some more really bad news.
14710  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-01-12] OVERSTOCK CEO: Amazon Will Be Forced To Start Accepting Bitcoin on: February 15, 2014, 02:38:37 PM
I'm not sure Amazon will be forced to accept them, but I reckon they'll probably get on board eventually. The question is will they be one of the first massive retailers to do so?
14711  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-02-13] Silk Road 2 Hacked, Unknown amount of Bitcoins Stolen on: February 15, 2014, 02:37:12 PM
Its a shame really. The original silk road seemed to have a good thing going. I actually discovered Bitcoin when someone told me about that article (was it reuters?).

I also heard about Bitcoin via the media coverage of Silk Road. A lot of people did.

The rabbit hole turned out to be much deeper than that... So far, the journey has been an incredibly enlightening experience, I feel I've really learned a lot over the last year. I just hope that I'm following the right course, it feels to me that things have been playing out more or less as intended. I'm sure the rollercoaster could get a lot more intense before we reach the endgame, whatever that may be. But I have faith that everything will work out just fine in the end - I'm sure there are powers at work within or perhaps beyond this universe which I couldn't even begin to comprehend.

So what drugs did you buy?  Cheesy
14712  Other / Meta / Re: It's Time For Theymos To Kill The Alt Section on: February 15, 2014, 02:32:22 PM
The best part is when you question what makes their coin so great or unique, and 9/10 the best they can only come up with is it has a great community and devs behind it. That's it.
These are very solid reasons and correct answers to the question.

Really? But everybody says it about every coin even when it's not true.

Interesting interview with a fed spokesman about all the crap in fed notes:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ac-_pMb1-vQ

lists heavy metals in ink at around 1:35

Jeeze, I'm surprised these plebs didn't kill themselves smoking that shit.

Hey Folks!

We are working through old contracts and promotions (like this) - and figuring out next steps. We will be analyzing all the existing marketing techniques - determining which gives us the most bang for our buck.

Bare with us as we get caught up to speed, we will update this thread early in the week!.

we just want to ask that can you going to pay us for this all work which we done in last month

I'm sure they will. It's not gonna be good for business if they don't honour the payments.
14716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the hacker's name in _House of Cards_ Season 2 Episode 17 a coincidence? on: February 15, 2014, 01:17:52 PM
... or perhaps a subtle reminder that monkey wrench hacking can be done with deferred prosecution agreements instead of wrenches.

FWIW, bitcoin was mentioned in episode 16.

Episode 16 of what? There's only 13 episodes. I'm going to start watching it today though.

Edit: Just seen the episodes are numbered continually. Just watched the first episode. Was great.

14718  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it my imagination or does Bitcoin tend to gravitate towards $666 on: February 15, 2014, 01:13:23 PM
It's because Bitcoin is the design of the 13 Terrorist European bloodlines of the Terrorist organization Illuminati .
14719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silk Road 2.0 hacked through malleability, ~4000 BTC STOLEN on: February 15, 2014, 01:08:49 PM
Silk road wasnt hacked. The owners took off with the coins, were duly exposed and now the forum is awash with thread after thread of distraught memmbers who are understandably after his blood. admin and mods tried to blame transaction malleability and  alleged the entire funds had been stolen under their noses.

you know, I really hate it when people come on here and start threads without checking the facts first.

Well this is the explanation they gave and how it was reported. Only time will tell what truly happened.
14720  Other / Off-topic / Re: Has anyone rolled a joint/blunt out of a $50 bill on: February 15, 2014, 01:00:28 PM
You have to be on drugs to think inhaling the smoke from burning cotton and linen (along with the plastic strip) into your lungs is a good idea.

FYI: The Fed used to burn old bills that had become unusable, but the EPA made them stop because the ink they use is full of heavy metals including arsenic. Anyone dumb enough to smoke a fed note pretty much deserves what they get.

I think they shred them and sell 'em now. Somebody was selling (or trying to sell) bags of them on here a while back.
