Sorry to bother you again, but i've a problem to connect my trezot to my nano wallet.

I have my trezor plugged in.
I've downloaded the universal client. I click on the firefox html document  file named "start" and it opens a new browser page with an address like file:///C:/Users/luca/Desktop/NanoWallet-2.0.14/start.html#!/login.

I click on login with trezor (main net), it open a popup but than i have this message: Failed to create wallet, reason: Loading timed out

I tried different time in hours, but i've always the same result, but my connection works fine..

what i have to do?

Did you try another browser ? works fine with chrome for me

wow, that's great!! i don't know why but with chrome works, with firefox doesn't work! thank you man!

I have a stupid question right now: after i connect my trezor to nanowallet, what i 've to do to login again? instead to click on "login with trezor" i have to click on signup and use the private key that has apperead on my trezor when i've connected it?

thank you for your answers! i didn't know that bitcoin core doesn't have a gui for segwit address yet! When 0.16 version will be release?

I'm LedgerNanoS user with MEW. It was a breeze to use, I just connected to Ledger, found out ETH address and send all my ETH and ERC20 tokens there. I choose a time when gas fee was lowest and safely transferred everything to Ledger. Doesn't Trezor work the same?

yes, i think is pretty the same. This guide is really simple: https://myetherwallet.github.io/knowledge-base/hardware-wallets/trezor-sending-to-trezor-device.html

But i have that error. I don't understand why. I have the same error with nanowallet for xem..
1485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold (BTG) on: February 10, 2018, 04:19:30 PM
! i don't have right now all this space free on my hard drive Sad
is it possible in some other way?

I'm afraid you're gonna have to either delete some stuff to make room, either use a web wallet (it takes care of keeping a copy of the blockchain synced for you).

If anything, you can always buy a cheap USB key and tell the wallet to store the blockchain on it.

thanks for your help. How can i use a web wallet? I've heard about coinomi. Can i use it? what i have to do?

Don't know about coinomi but bear in mind that any exchange that supports BTG is pretty much always offering a BTG web wallet.

So Bittrex, Cryptopia... any exchange that offers BTG trading can be used as a web wallet for BTG (restrictions may apply, such as mining directly to the wallet and whatnot).

well, i've an account on bittrex..but how can i claim my btg? I have only my private keys...how can bittrex give me my btg?

sorry to bother you again, but i think that there is a problem.

When i click on connect to trezor (that is plugged in and trezord.exe process running, point 4 of this guide: https://myetherwallet.github.io/knowledge-base/hardware-wallets/trezor-sending-to-trezor-device.html ) i have this message:  "Loading timed out"

I don't understand why...

thank you both for your answers.
The link that you posted, aleksej996 is what i'm looking for. Sadly i see that the percentange doesn't rise and is not very high Sad

Hi everyone, i'm wondering...if i transfer my spectre's token from myetherwallet to my trezor, i will have spectre's dividend in the same way?
1490  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / percentage of segwit addresses on: February 10, 2018, 01:32:44 PM
Hi everyone,
i don't know if this is the right section of the forum, but i'm wondering: is there any way to know how many of the total btc addresses are segwit type?

i'm sorry, i didn't understand what happened. DO you really have tried to memorize your seed? Or you just lose it?

How are the updates coming from EK?  I don't see him post much anymore, maybe he ended up getting that new Tesla and drove off into the sunset.   Cheesy

Yeah right, I just wanted to ask for an update too  Cheesy
Can you, the guys from slack, share an info with us please?
Any github commits expected in the near future?

It's over a year now and I also haven't heard a pip from the Elastic dev team. What's new, guys. Yeah, I also check out the github for any updates.

well, do you think that they are not working enough or simply the dev team doesn't share update?

no problem, maybe i'm just too stupid to understand Sad

i have nem in my wallet. I connect my trezor to my wallet.

all the xem that i have inside my .wlt file right DON'T go automatically into my trezor and i don't have to make a transaction to trasfer them to my trezor Sad

The Trezor is a completely separate new wallet. Right now there is nothing in it.

Note the address. Send everything in your existing wallet to it. Obviously do a test transaction first to make sure you have the right address.

Make sure you store the Trezor seed in multiple forms in multiple locations. That's your only backup.

Well man, now is super clear! thank for your help, i really appreciate it. Now i know what to do to make in safe my precious xem!

ok, i'm sorry, you are right! is a new account, so i have to transfer what i have in my .wlt to my new account, connected with my trezor. Correct?

Indeed. There's no way of importing anything.

I have my private keys / seed from electrum. Can someone tell me what is easiest way to claim my btg?

Thanks!

You could do the following:

0. Make sure all your bitcoins and bitcoin cash is GONE from that address (a security best practice)

1. download the official BTG Core wallet from https://bitcoingold.org/downloads/ (make sure all keys of your download match).

2. Run it and synchronize it with the network (it may take from a couple of days to a couple of weeks)

3. Import your private key as you would do in bitcoin core (importprivkey command from the console)

4. You can now send it to your destination address and deinstall the core. Save the wallet.dat for security reasons (Satoshi recommended NEVER to delete your wallets)

That method has cons and pros. Pros - it is farely safe and secure as you don't compromise your private keys to any other party. Cons - it takes long to synchronize.

thanks for your answers! This seems pretty easy to do, i have just a question: how many gb i have to download to sync the wallet?

Currently I don't have BTG synchronized, but I would bet it is the same size (maybe a little smaller) as BTC or BCH and I have them both. Let me check and I will be back with the answer in a moment. I will edit this post to put it here. In the meantime, if you find my answer helpful, I won't mind a merit or two, they are very hard to come by these days Smiley

EDIT: all right, I am back with the info. BTC is 166Gb, BCH is 144Gb.
I must add I forgot that when I started synchronizing BCH I stopped synchronizing BTC, so the data for BTC is 3 weeks old. The BCH is the current data.

I would expect BTG to be smaller than the other two. Maybe 120 Gb? (just an educated guess, though)

mmm this can be a problem! i don't have right now all this space free on my hard drive Sad
is it possible in some other way?
