for now the price is still very low... what should be the reason behind a price increase ?
I'm also interested in this issue, all the coins have long reached x10,
GRC almost stands still

Which all coins do you mean? You probably mean the most known such as Bitcoin, Dash, Ethereum, many coins died and didn't survive up till now, and some other fell in price and don't have perspectives.
GRC also rose, you can check in this graph https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/gridcoin/
But if you want x10 and that's your main requirement, you can invest in ICO, there are many of them these days

0% pre-mine + 90 sec transactions - very good conditions. About speed - what technology do you use?
I think the price will higher, than now

No! Project is not dead...far from it!
But there are current problems with the network.
Since the last mandatory update there are a lot of forks going on and users have trouble syncing their clients and staying on the right chain.

Therefore exchanges have the same problems.
Maybe your transaction was done on a fork chain or the receptor is on a wrong chain. Difficult to say.
You should save the transaction hash from coinomi to be able to reclaim your coins when the situation is resolved.

In my eyes the Gridcoin-Network is currently unuseable  Sad

Of course it's not dead, moreover Gridcoin becomes more popular.
Not so long about I bought GRC on Bittrex and everything was fine.
I don't know exactly what happens these days, but here is what official Twitter says:

Gridcoin is aware of the forking issues and the devs are working hard to solve the challenges. We'll keep you informed. Your research rewards are safe and still rising, even if you're on a fork. Stay tuned and keep crunching!

I can't tell because the new wallet keeps CRASHING before it can synch.

(edit) It finally synched, after 4 crashes along the way.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

Hi. Latest version of the wallet crashes every 1-2 hours, and does not restart itself. Should I wait for next update? Thanks.

Everyone,

You can try to download a snapshot. Maybe this can solve your problem.
https://download.gridcoin.us/download/downloadstake/signed/snapshot.zip

Lots of people report wallets not syncing or crashing.
We just have to sit out the situation and wait for next client release.

...
Prime numbers are NOT at the "core of cryptography", though there has been some use of them in the past.

...

It's an interesting question. It seems people who know the most about cryptography gravitate towards using prime numbers. Might well be more than you think to it.

My wallet is not syncing in a correct way, so I just keep waiting.
Also my GRC from Boinc was sent but not received.
However Gridcoin team is great, so this is only a temporary issue.
I hope everything will be fine soon

Is it best to keep the coins on a Coinomi wallet?

About troubles in sync:

Backup wallet
Make sure you're running v3.7.7.0 of the Gridcoin client
Download the chain snapshot from the Gridcoin website: https://download.gridcoin.us/download/downloadstake/signed/snapshot.zip
Extract it to your Gridcoin settings folder (AppData or ~/Library)
Delete your peers.dat so you are less likely to download from the same peers that put you on a fork
Start Gridcoin

If you get stuck again later:
Get the block hash for your latest block number: Help > Debug Window > Console > getblockhash <blocknumber>
Search your block number on http://gridcoinstats.eu/ to see if the hashes match, If they don't you're on a fork.
Keep comparing blocks up the chain (jump 250 at a time) till you find a common block with gridcoinstats
Take the hash of that block and in the console again run: reorganize <blockhash>
