1481  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unsure of what i need to do for my goals. on: August 10, 2018, 02:51:46 PM
Might be a better idea to mine some other cryptocurrency in my opinion(if you're not doing this already). Pretty difficult to profit from bitcoin if you're not using ASICs[1]. So yea. Go for other coins in my opinion. These might help you out:

Another site that you can use:  https://www.coincalculators.io/.
1482  Other / Off-topic / Re: Warning on: August 10, 2018, 02:39:58 PM
Thanks for the warning, but this is not the correct sub to post about this information. And BTW, the site listed on that form is clearly a phishing site. I doubt anyone would believe it.

Hasilnya:

Silakan liat: https://talk.elasticexplorer.org/t/how-to-sign-a-message-with-bitcoin-private-key-bitcoin-core-blockchain-info-and-electrum/221
1485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How the find a worthy ICOs & Blockchain projects on: August 09, 2018, 07:35:20 AM
-snip-
I find that coins that these really push for adoption and have a realistic, tangible use-case are the coins that are the most profitable ICOs and the coins that don't drop 99% in the first two days.

It's hard to know beforehand whether a project would really push for adoption. Even though they are doing that, development needs time, and therefore there will be a lack of demand for the tokens/coins from the market. I do believe that every project price can drop dead before their final product is ready, which is why joining an ICO is very risky if you don't prepare for the worst.
1486  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: WeSellFiles - a pay per download file market. Earn bitcoin by selling your data! on: August 08, 2018, 02:31:20 AM
The idea of earning bitcoin by uploading your files isn't entirely new, some of them can be found in this forum such as gag buzz in the past. But this is the first time LN is applied to such services.

Will you apply any fee for uploading/downloading, or are you planning post an advertisement on your site?
1487  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Blockchain company, Lino Corp is hiring! on: August 08, 2018, 02:17:50 AM
According to your job description, every participant needs to have at least bachelor degree in marketing or related field, does this mean you won't accept an experienced community manager who doesn't have that degree?
1488  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bounty acceptance and being a bitcointalk newbie on: August 06, 2018, 07:48:09 AM
If I become a junior member in next few days will my previous work be automatically accepted?
How do i become a junior member?

Wrong sub to post this. As for your question, it won't be automatically accepted. You need to sign-up again.
1489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is MetaTrader the Right Platform for Cryptocurrencies? on: August 06, 2018, 07:23:27 AM
How can you tell if a platform is the "right one"?
Logically speaking, you imply that any other platform than MetaTrader is not the right one. Why is that? Because it is slow? Low volume? or what?

Use MetaTrader for cryptocurrency trading is good choice when the market on bearish because we can make profit also from short potition, Meta trader is good platform for trading because offer alot of different trading tool, like many indicator, stop loss and trailing stop automatic. Personaly i used it also for crypto trading and to trade others asset like stocks, forex and commodities.

Tradingview can offer you the same. Bittrex, Binance, and others already provide it to. I don't think trading with other assets as a plus for crypto exchange, why should you do that in the first place if you wanted to trade cryptocurrencies?
1490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: robo investors/automated trading software on: July 27, 2018, 02:19:31 AM
You should check GunBot or FoxBot (paid service, ofc), I've seen them being advertised here a couple of times. Not really sure how they perform as I've never experienced it myself. If you want something free, try Zenbot. It has a pre-defined trading strategy, but the last time I've check it has a problem making a profit because of some errors.

Shouldn't this get posted in Bounties section?
This is technically a bounty and you paid with tokens.
1492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what profit do you need to close the long position? on: July 22, 2018, 12:32:26 PM
If you are a long-term holder, what profit do you need to close the position?
For example, I need a minimum of + 400%

That's quite a big number for me. Usually, how much time do you need to reach that profit?

I do believe it's flexible, you should consider market conditions too. In the recent market, I think short-medium term trading is more profitable than long-term holding as long as you can ride with the waves.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the key steps to run a simple ICO? on: July 22, 2018, 12:17:00 PM
7 steps that you share above aren't simple IMHO. Creating a product (and a good one) requires a lot of research, creativity, analysis and so on. If it was that simple, there will be a lot of successful product right now.

The post-ICO part is also important to think. Just because you run a successful ICO doesn't mean your product will be successful.
1494  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Is it really possible to raise a venture capital? on: July 22, 2018, 12:10:50 PM
It is possible. ETERBASE is one of the new projects that raised their money via VC. But, they still do an ICO. Around 1 Million EUR has been raised from founder and VCs.
1495  Other / Meta / Re: Require a small amount of merit to become a Junior Member on: July 19, 2018, 04:03:08 AM
I understand the logic and it makes sense. I was just trying to point out how much more difficult it all makes it for the regular people. Just wish there was a better solution to prevent people from spamming and selling such accounts.

So the one who gets merits is an irregular/divergent? That means the majority of this forum can't write meaningful posts, isn't it?

Come on Quade, don't be too pessimistic.
1496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BlackRock FOMO on: July 19, 2018, 03:28:33 AM
Fear of missing out or not, We need more of this kind of news to pump the price up Cheesy

The news is 'fake'. Somehow it was misinterpreted into: "Blackrock is looking to invest in crypto soon".

And the bulls did not happen based on this news only if I'm right. The news about Mastercard acquiring patents that can speed up Bitcoin transactions might be one of the fundamental factors too.
1497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible for modification in bitcoin system? on: July 15, 2018, 01:52:57 PM
Which parts do you want to be modify?
If you're talking about the wallet, I think it is still possible. But if you're talking about how the systems work, I don't think it has enough justification to do so. Just because it makes "newbies" hard to understand it for the first time, should we simplify it with a security risk?
1498  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [DISKUSI] Saran Sub-Forum Indonesia (Rules Thread, OP, Post, dst) on: July 13, 2018, 02:41:51 PM

1499  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit BTG withdraw! on: July 11, 2018, 01:51:55 PM
Someone know yobit exchange is scam or not?
I can't withdraw my BTG.Thank you. Shocked

I've traded at Yobit, and I can withdraw my tokens successfully. But of course, I know that sometimes there is a problem with this exchanges. In fact, I really hope not to trade on this exchange because there are already a lot of reports regarding withdrawal from there. I don't think they're a scam (not yet), but it is pretty clear that Yobit is a terrible exchange.
1500  Economy / Economics / Re: List of useful materials on economics on: July 10, 2018, 03:25:20 PM
-snip-

Yes, but I think we need to learn everything from the beginning, because when we study history at school, we are taught it not from the year when we were born, but the whole story from the beginning to our days. Unfortunately, I do not have an economic education, so I'll try to understand it here, and I'll probably help newbie. Smiley Smiley Smiley

Your analogy, I think is not quite correct. Learning the history and economy is different, they have different subjects to discuss and different methods to learn. I appreciate your spirit and willingness to learn economy, and I don't think learning about the traditional economy is still bad, 'cause the principal still stays the same. Currencies/cryptocurrencies are just a small portion of the economic spaces.
