I do not understand why these companies are trying to lanch their ICOs in the states. Same problem has Facebook, so they decided to move into Switzerland as far as I know, but actually the most easy strategy is to run such business on Malta or Cayman Islands.

I think that these TPS battles are no more interesting. If you would like to use immediate transfers, you can use Lightning Network, there are some apps into your mobile phone that support BTC LN and by scanning qr codes you are able to send bitcoins to another person almost immediately.  The problem is if the others must have used the LN node too. I would say that if i quite agree with you if TPS battles are not relevant again consider we have already moved to the new era that the usability is much more important than TPS. At first I won´t call Binance as the safest crypto exchange because it was already proven that it is not true - Binance hack in late 2019 - $40 million were stolen. It seems that some scam projects manages to get on exchanges and pretend like everything is normal, they have good aim of exiting scam by introducing bounty campaign that will take weeks and along the way while bounty hunters are promoting the projects some investors attention will be caught, after bounty is about to end the coin or token value will now dumped, by the team

I have seen several investors complain of rekts and loss after participating in certain ieos or investment, the token refuses to pump or increase in value.
It is as a result of poor demand for the token, hence before investing outrightly for the longer term, research and find out if the token has a use case that can drive token demand.
Because a project without use case, it's just crypto currency. Without the demand for the token, it may never reach its true value.
The use-case will not play a lot in this case but when they were participating in the IEO that launched in the small platforms and those must not expect a huge gain instantly. What's driving the pump is the hype. We have the early game after the IEO successfully funded, The use case is a very important thing for the long term but the hype used to pump the price in the short term. When a coin getting hyped and people will FOMO to buy that. |
