A solution, sort of a hint.
Have any of you studied G point throughly? It has some interesting characteristics, it was generated by someone we don't know anything about, other than that, N also is interesting and you should research both N and G.
One other thing is the concept of adding and multiplying G by k, which obviously is not what I thought, I always assumed that if G is 5, and k is 20, we'd just multiply 5*20=100 =p. Well that was a misconception from my part.
Now instead of wasting your time doing useless stuff, start doing some research and experiment on elliptic curve.
Worth mentioning that almost 99% of you are unaware that bitcoin elliptic curve is a mirror. Now that you know, you should study the mirror verse to see what cool stuff are lurking there. Good luck and happy hunting.

There are over $30m in bitcoins waiting to be collected, though for someone like him, this is some change in his pocket, still it's a lot of money and nobody in the world would do this other than Satoshi.
Asking him directly for money will surely upset him as it would upset anyone! Imagine if he gave some money to somebody around here and people find out about it, there will be no puzzle solving discussions anymore but just people asking constantly for BTC, you have stated your case once, and if he is reading these topics as you suggested, if he wants to help you out, he should/would contact you privately and ask for an anonymous address as well as asking you not to tell anyone.
I doubt he'd do that though, I just said what I would do, but not for any random guy saying he just needs it, I would investigate your situation first and if I know you have contributed to the system then I would consider to lift some of your financial burdens.

Ps, chop chop people, think deeper, this is an ocean and we need to act like the whales, going as deep as possible, stop waiting for others to make useless tools so you could use them, start building your own algorithms, those need only our minds, and they require days of trial and error, I myself have discovered at least 10 ways to solve them, but the complexity is severe and needs to be worked on for months.
Remember, any mathematical problem is like a dot at the center of a circle, there are infinite solutions for them, so get to work and find your solutions.

workfiles contain poins and a collision can be found by comparing all previously found tame and wild points. could you may have already found a collision several times today with the found earlier but already erased ;0 I have no ideas, tame, wild and dp points are alien language to me. Everytime I see average time is around 4 minutes for hours, everytime I see too much dead kangaroos on my hands, and everytime it says 19876 y, I assume something is not working and I just change the key and it's range. Lol. |

I wanted to know if other methods have been tried by the community to crack the puzzle other then brute force. if so could someone care to list whats been tried so far. i have tried going through the whole form but its not clear whats been tried and not. Thanks in adavnce.
The process i have discovered does not involve patterns or any mathematical relationships between the terms in the sequence. I understand noone has found a pattern in the sequence.

As something dependent on mathematics for it's security, I'd say bitcoin or any open source decentralized crypto using elliptic curves can be cracked in seconds, the equation exist but not found yet by the public, so every curve based crypto is doomed to die off not slowly and gradually but suddenly triggered by an event as easy as someone stealing thousands of coins using a new tool!
Unless we think about possible solutions before that happens, Though I don't see any think tank around here, people are just discussing about events and not many ideas going around here.
Sadly the one person that invented bitcoin and has more than anyone to lose on the planet is no where to be found, and there is no way of contacting him to discuss about possible improvements.
