this coin seems pretty pointless, why not just make a discussion thread instead of a premined coin?  Pre-mine is less than 2%. Setted up high reward for first block for early miners and 60 block for insta-mine. We have time to discuss everything. So premine is about 130000 coins? I think it's rather low. There are many coins on exchanges with thousands coins premine and 5-10 coins block reward. And as for me 99% of coins are pretty pointless, so this coin is not worse then others. Not much at all, you can mine that amount pretty cheap with the low diff. Let's make use of the coin  |

Vanillacoin has been awesome to mine with cpu solo and it has been great to not be tied to this forum. The fact that the true believers feel threatened by the developer doesn't surprise me at all.
What are you even warning people about? "victims"? wtf? I have felt like a victim numerous times on this forum in the last year, not with vanilla coin though. Oh well, people will believe what they want.
We are victims because we don't have to rent hash to mine a new coin. Victims also because we don't have to cope with this forum. Bashing the coin on this forum because some people had a technical argument on github over Bitcoin, not sure how ethical this is. |

is hard to synced and many problems coming , dev update the wallet
for many times
once he update the client , most of people are on the wrong chain, all people need to wait dev's

I was never on a wrong chain. But it happened to people, and it doesn't make a coin bad. Happened to lots of coins out there. The coin is openly called an alpha/beta by the dev. What you are talking is just plain stupid. |

Thread is locked on BCT because every discussion is being held on the VNL forum.
This would have been pretty obvious if you just read his last comment made on BCT. BCT isn't the only place on earth where proper discussion can be held on cryptos. If you would follow the alt scene you would pretty much see that this forum is infested with trolls.
I am not saying that what you are saying is right or wrong, but you made 0 research on the issue. I am mining VNL because it's easy to mine with simple PC's and laptops and so far everytime we had issues with the client it was fixed in a few hours. Not sure how much of a high skilled dev John is, but so far I had no problems.
Edit: I am really not sure why you name and shame on this forum. 90% of the alt-coins so far have been scams. As someone who is following the VNL forums I can say that we had no problems with his developments so far and nothing suspicious happened with the clients. Yeah it's not the most optimal thing to have closed source clients, but this isn't the first one in the scene and obviously it should only be temporary.

What pool is the hash at ?
Theres almost 40gh and the biggest pool on the list is supr with almost 3gh, the other ones has maybe 100mh each..
I wondered about that to, someone mentioned multipools mine whatever coin is profitable and dump on the exchange? Either that or there is just a bunch of people solo mining maybe. Mystery solved: X11 3336 32.6784 GH/s Someone is Nicehashing this at a private pool. Damn. Dump incoming. Edit: I im so sick of Nicehash. Mining has become 'first to deposit at nicehash wins the coin' Edit2: Nicehash causes centralized mining and has destroyed at least 10 of the last coins i was interested in. it should be banned. Yea, would look for a big dump of coin, often they will sell it right down to 0. Or they accumulate off the exchange for a pump. Since buying on an exchange would directly raise the price be4 the accumulation is over. So you mean like they put offers in the marketplace forum on here to buy GP off the exchanges as to not increase the price directly on the exchanges and then once they have enough then they begin to pump the coin so they can make their profits of the coins that they bought off the exchanges? I mean, they wait for a low diff, start mining with rented or owned hash (why else would someone rent tens of gh/s now with a lower price and profitability) and after pow is over they pump it. I'm not saying that this is the case, but this could obviously happen. |
