Whatever. Yeah reopen it moderated so you can continue to fool readers. Carry on in your delusions. You will get no where.

Your comment was worthless and just showcases your lack of ability to make proper human interaction. Please move over to one of your ion threads.

Edit: I also noticed how you replied within the 4 minute range. Did you find some time?

@Goldmaxx

Close the topic and reopen it moderated and make it a clean discussion topic without off-topic spam and e-penis showcase.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vanillacoin's Chainblender: Technical analyse on: January 11, 2016, 09:12:48 AM

I don't have time for this shit.

You were the first to comment while this forum is also overspammed by your comments everywhere (most comments advertising your vaporware).

Amusing.

What should be the average hash for an i5  or an fx 6000/8000 series cpu / thread on win?

You should consult with the lemons! or Testz for that matter, they are the miner specialists  Wink

Nobody now knows much about how each CPU performs. You can add your system to spreadsheet here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gSuCf4ssH1G2oebLPQPPzBDwMGYrPUUhTjz_BkvVX60/edit?usp=sharing

Nvm that, premine seems to get dumped anyway. Else no way its worth to dump 3k almost 10k at 210 sats with 20 as block rewards.

Dev would be VERY STUPID to dump his coins for only how much 0.05 BTC or what? Then he could better do a ICO and runaway with 1 BTC or so.

Miners would be even more stupid to do that considering they usually pay for atleast something while mining (electricity, pc components, etc.)

Only one with free coins here is the developer currently. Not here to fud, was interested in mining, but I've seen enough during my 2.5 years in altcoins.

Vanillacoin

Scaling: Multitier network, 100 on-chain TPS and 15k off-cain TPS with ZeroTime.

Instant: ZeroTime gives decentralized zero-conf transactions.

Node Incentives: Rewards nodes (SuperPeers) for holding VNL.

ChainBlender [WIP]: upcoming anonimity features, like mixing (and probably messaging).

Modern codebase with a different communication protocol.

Whitepapers: https://github.com/john-connor/papers/

I am now locking the thread. I was asked for this several times during the past year, but I was always fighting against it as I thought that would be the right thing to do. Recently the thread has been having way less technical chat and almost only price speculation and partly also trolling. I am opening a moderated speculation thread as some other project have already did (XMR and DASH come to my mind), but the general discussion can migrate on to these places from here:

The newest forum for Vanillacoin: https://forum.bitcoin.com/vanillacoin/

or

The official forum: https://forum.bitcoin.com/vanillacoin/

or

The official Bitcointalk thread of john-connor: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1064326.0

It was nice to chat with you here and hope you will keep supporting Vanillacoin in the future!

Cleaned the ANN up a bit, I may add some graphics later.

So fuck you, traumschiff, you just keep asking for a fight no matter what.

....

The fact that I remain positively neutral to vanillacoin at this moment is already a significant achievement.

You got an interesting emotional scale if the comments so far were on the positive/neutral side.

The problem right here is that you take my words too literally which exposes your unconfidence and generates pointless drama. How would anyone of us really know if John has any unfair premine? And even when that turns out to be the case, what's so bad about it? It's a possibility and it doesn't immediately mean that this coin is foul and should be abandoned. Satoshi has an enormous premine. Didn't stop Bitcoin from succeeding. What worries me is the fact that you get so damn hostile immediately when encountered with something that threatens vanillacoin's reputation. Why? Are you so insecure? If you were confident about the coin you wouldn't try to defend it so hard. On the other hand, if you really are sensitive to criticism then why on Earth do you and your beloved dev act like assholes on newcomers? Does not compute. It's almost as if you were asking for it.

Problem isn't that I'm taking things literally, the problem is that you are not clear what the word premine means. John can't own a premine because the coin was publicly launched with mining software built in to the wallet at start and the blockchain is public, block rewards being known.

I am not insecure, my problem is the following:

1) either you don't know what a premine means and just keep throwing in random words
2) you know what it means and you simply chose trolling

I am not being hostile or negative towards anyone who isn't openly trolling or bullshitting. Keep insulting as an act of defense instead of thinking 2x before you post.

Please don't quote that whole paragraph, it's way 2 troll.

What the hell are you talking about? Who am I FUDding to death?

This is the sentence you start with and just a few lines later:

Grin I wouldn't wonder if he expects to pay in premined vanillacoins. So as you can see, it's not all black and white, as usually. I'm still a bit sceptical about Vanillacoin.

John has been constantly buying. There was never a premine, and you pretty much validate any fud accusation you recieved in the same response.

Why is he hiring anyway? Maybe he wants to disappear and is looking for a replacement? Maybe he is hiring but does not intend to actually hire anyone?

You got rejected and continue to fud afterwards, the motive is way too obvious and clear.

@MonsterZeroPrice I am following ocminer since I started reading up on altcoins on this forum (2 years ago) and I never seen him act dishonest in any way. He is making a service (pools) for projects and he has probably has 0 insight into the projects he helps with his pools, except checking code for himself. Blame the developers if you have been scammed on some projects and not the people who trust them like yourself. Ocminer literally the best pool op I've seen in this scene.

Also please stay on-topic and don't go insulting on people.

Dont be late , we are ready to fly to moon  Wink

Every time I hear "to the moon" I feel like dumping all of my coins!  It is the most over used, over abused, term I know of.  And typically when it is uttered the price inevitably drops.

I second this. Although I am bullish on VNL I urge you to stop this moon nonsense.

+1, please no repetition of "to the moon" phrases and pictures. Makes the thread look far less serious.

Ah Mister *shitcoin* Monero is back. Welcome back...at least every village needs a joker

Just call him Eduardo de HashFast, that is his most known (scammer) name.

Also no need to take Monero into this discussion, they have a hard time already if you look at the charts.

No replies on the chainblender whitepaper? Will this not add many bloat to the chain? Looks like a mixer to me

Not sure if this is true for the upcoming chainblender, but before ZT was implemented together with the UDP layer integration John was talking about compressed data and packages (through UDP). I'm pretty sure he will solve a potential bloating problem before doing a final implementation since he is a perfectionist Smiley

It will be a mixer yes, but a very advanced one as it seems.
Thanks for your reply, would love to hear some additional info from John about potential bloating!

Reposted the question here: https://talk.vanillacoin.net/topic/277/chainblender/2

John is more likely to answer technical questions on the official forums.

Can you push the coin to here, please?
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz

This won't happen anymore and they are irrelevant as an exchange.

Why?

This was the topic where they asked for some help regarding the code: https://talk.vanillacoin.net/topic/228/how-to-set-rpc-user-pass-and-ssl-settings/9

Since then they deleted their account from talk.vanillacoin.net together with their messages. To sum it up, cryptopia wanted wallet/RPC changes that John said would cause security holes and that the way the wallet handles RPC is the most secure (Poloniex and Bittrex had no problem making it work) and Cryptopia went into an argument regarding it which didn't get positive responses from the community. Also they asked for these after accepting paid votes/donations meaning they did no research prior.

the wallet still crashes if you double rightclick the lock

It doesn't crash for me on windows. If you use windows, the error may be on your side.
