1501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too many chickens own BTC. Don't be a chicken, HODL! BE A LION. on: December 15, 2022, 03:52:34 PM
This is the real issue BTC is facing. Chickens get afraid and sell even if they lose their money. They don't even understand how crypto works.

I've never sold a satoshi since 2013. I know BTC will rise back and one day will hit the 100k and beyond. In a way I'm glad this is happening, more strong hands and less chickens. HODL! Hoping to buy more if it gets down to 10k.

Haven't even heard about FTX until now lol. This shows how panicked I am Grin

1 BTC = 1 BTC. That's all you need to know. Less drama, live longer.

Holding is definitely good but its not bad to take profits while the price is near ATH.
Over the years we have seen bitcoin breaking every ATH but at the same time we have also seen it dumping after ATH as well.
So selling some near the ATH and buying back later is not a bad strategy in fact it increases our stack.
1502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soyapango is proving that Bitcoin adoption alone is not enough on: December 15, 2022, 03:45:57 PM
Good things take time and bitcoin mass adoption is something that will take a good amount of time.
Even the credit cards took around 20 - 25 years to become globally adopted whereas its just 14 years for bitcoin.
Also, the private firms pushed credit card adoption whereas the support for bitcoin has just started to grow.
Moreover the current economic conditions are terrible for a mass adoption and not to forget bitcoin price that is in a bearish market.
So we will have to wait at least for 5 years to see a growth in bitcoin adoption.
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 14, 2022, 04:38:36 PM
I believe those Croatian players will surely be disappointed in themselves, there is nothing bad to lose to a good team like Argentina, but to lose 3-0 in a world cup semifinal is embarrassing
I don't think it's embrassing because Croatia kept playing good only this time their defense forgot about Messi's agility and let him in the box so they could provide the assist for the third goal. Brazil is the country that knows best what it is to be humiliated, first as the host and secondly being defeated with a very landslide score of 7-1.
I think Croatia is still good because it is rare for a national team that can reach the final in the previous World Cup to reach a round that is no less prestigious that is semifinals.

I would only say Croatia performed remarkably well in this world cup. I mean defeating Brazil is not an easy job.
I do agree with the point that this time their defense was comparatively weak when compared to the match with Brazil.
If only Croatia had the same defense or a better defense then it would have become equally tough for Argentina to win the match.
Lets see what happens today when Morocco will compete with France. I will definitely be treat to watch.
1504  Economy / Gambling / Re: 0.022 on Morocco lol on: December 14, 2022, 04:20:59 PM
Croatia defeated Brazil which was amazingly surprising. Morocco defeated Portugal which was equally surprising.
But at the end, Croatia lost against Argentina. May be Morocco can defeat France but the chances are too slim.
I still think France will qualify to the finals and will face Argentina.

Let's see how things go in the Semi Finals now. I guess Argentina and France will take it to the finals but you never know what the underdogs are capable of.
At some point we need to stop talking about them as underdogs. Maybe people didn't expected them to win, but when a team beats Spain, you should start to consider them as a good team at some point.

Like we are talking about a team that went out of the group stage first, then beat Spain and then they are going to not be able to fight against Portugal? Of course they might have lost, that's understandable, but that doesn't mean that they are terrible or anything, they could have still won, they had that chance. I wouldn't give more than 2.30 or so to them to win for this game, many places gave a lot more because they were still seen as big underdogs for some reason.

Didnt saw a lot of games of Morocco (only the one against Belgium) and they are playing good but are we not over estimating them a bit? Spain is a good team but they didnt convince or really played good also this whole worldcup! Same for the game of Morocco vs Belgium, they played good and deserved to win but Belgium was also extremely weak and didnt play good at all.

The term underdogs is being used just because of the track record of every team. It doesn't mean any of the teams are terrible.
All the teams are equally capable of winning the world cup but it's just that some teams have played better which is why the other is underdog.
Croatia did a really good job was unfortunate to lose against Argentina. Morocco might face the same fate because France has been playing well.
As I said, Argentina and France might take it to the Final.
1506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bloody Year 2022 coming to End on: December 12, 2022, 04:04:08 PM
It's a cycle. When bad things end, good things start and vice versa. It's good that the year is about to end but we never know what the next year will bring.
We don't know how long the bear market will last but hopefully things go good for bitcoin the next year.
Sooner or later the bull market will start to create a new ATH. We just have to hold strong till then.
1507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the bitcoin community currently trust Tether? on: December 11, 2022, 09:52:27 AM
The only "cryptocurrency" that I trust is bitcoin. There are no altcoins or stablecoins that are as trustworthy as bitcoin.
Literally anything can happen with any of those coins. Stable coins are no exception because of collapse of LUNA and FTT.
In fact USDT has been having rumors of faking their reserves since a long time now and so we can never trust it.
I personally don't hold any stable coins because I prefer to hold BTC and ETH more than any other coins.
1508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDC is not safe on: December 11, 2022, 09:47:25 AM

In this situation, what can be the best way to store our stable coins  Huh

https://twitter.com/CryptoInsider23/status/1542027718677504002

We have seen how decentralized stable coins can lose their value although DAI is still safer but we never know what might happen.
We know how Tether has been rumored to fake its reserves and now the same is happening with USDC.
In this case one thing we can acknowledge is that holding stable coins is not a good choice.
So the ideal solution to this is don't hold stable coins at all. Directly buy bitcoin with fiat money and otherwise keep holding bitcoin or altcoins.

@pawanjain, dude congratulations man. Thats serious winning dude, and as far as I know that is very huge conversion in your loca currency. It could be couple of months salary for locals there. Thats shit ton of money for you. Definitely big win from small bet that was placed. Im surprised how much money was made by others too. Because in the screenshot we can still see there are other players who have taken this risk. Now that is also one of the ways to win big. But definitely not everyone gonna take such risks that too with big bets like this dude.

I think you have got it wrong. It is @Saint-loup who has won a big reward by placing a bet on Croatia.
I had just won 5k satoshis which I ended up losing it all since I placed the bet on Brazil.

Another upset win by Morocco, ooofff

Certainly this time the underdogs are performing really well. Whether it be Croatia or Morocco but they are still in the game because of two reasons.
1. They performed better than they could.
2. The opponents performed worse than their previous matches.

Let's see how things go in the Semi Finals now. I guess Argentina and France will take it to the finals but you never know what the underdogs are capable of.
1510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Small Scale Businesses should accept Cryptocurrencies as a medium of payment on: December 10, 2022, 01:15:33 PM

1. Low transaction fees and Quicker transaction:
It is relatively cheaper to carry  out transactions through cryptocurrencies than electronic bank transfer. It's also faster

I agree to all your points except the first one. If a small scale business is accepting crypto payments then they will obviously receive a bigger market but we can't say that the transaction feews would be cheaper than bank transfer.
It just depends on what payment method they are using and the country they belong to. For example: I live in India and we have UPI payment here which are used for small transactions.
The amount is directly transferred from one bank to another without any charges. So basically they are paying 0 transaction fees on UPI payments.
The payment limit per day differs from bank to bank but on average its restricted around $1000 per day which is more than sufficient.
1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB Coin Hit $300 Mark in 2023? on: December 10, 2022, 01:03:24 PM
BNB is definitely a potential coin because it is created by the largest cryptocurrency exchange currently.
Binance also has their own smartchain and a lot of good investments. Considering their ecosystem BNB is a one of the good coins in crypto community.
It is bound to break it's ATH price in the next bull market and I expect it to be around $800 in the next few years.

As far as I remember, BNB's ATH was $700 last bull season and if it holds its current stability and continues to grow, then BNB's new ATH target is $800, I think you rate BNB a bit low. My prediction will be above 1k, maybe 1k5 for the next bull season.
If you notice, during this down season, even though bitcoin or ETH or other top coins have lost more than 70-80% of their value, while BNB has lost just over 50% of its value from ATH. A relatively modest figure shows that CZ is very concerned about his pet.

May be I am wrong and BNB might create an even bigger ATH but I am sure about is that it will definitely cross $800.
ATH are followed by corrections and so $800 ATH is inevitable followed by a correction and then may be a bigger ATH.
But what you said is right. BNB has been performing well in this bear market by holding it's price really well.
1512  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com| Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: December 10, 2022, 01:00:07 PM
well, when argentina lost against saudi arabia, the world was shocked and for many days the newspapers were talking about argentina's defeat, then germany also entered the spotlight, then belgium, then spain, and finally yesterday it was the turn of Brazil losing against the crown, honestly Brazil with so many good players with a high individual quality could not score many goals against the crown, there were many people from Brazil who already said that this team from Brazil would not make it far, and that this coach from brazil was making a big mistake in the players' choices, and yesterday it was seen that these people were right

for the contest i chose portugal to win and goncalo ramos to be the first player to score a goal, i hope at least i can get it right, for the france game against england i chose franca to win the game and mbappe as the first player to score a goal, and in both games I don't see games with many cards and corners, something like less than 10 corners and 4 or 5 cards, anyway, I hope I have some luck to hit

I think the same for the Portugal vs Morocco match and Ramos might be the one opening the goals.
Portugal will qualify for the next round but on the other hand I think England would take it away when facing France.
Mbappe might score a goal but France might fail to qualify. England has a pretty tight game which might make it difficult for France to win the match.
1513  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 10, 2022, 12:54:35 PM
No I don't think pawanjain got a push and a refund of his stake, because as you can see below it wasn't a Draw No Bet, but a bet on the team that will qualify for the next round after the end of the game. As I explained above, many people thought that Croatia will play in a very defensive way, in order to try to keep a clean sheet and to beat Brazil at penalty shootouts like Morocco did against Spain. So odds on "to qualify" bets for Croatia were very interesting, I guessed it was a value bet and I luckily placed a big amount of satoshis (one million) on Croatia, despite being very risky.

You played it real smart by placing a bet on Croatia and that too a big one. The returns are really good and it will help you cover your future bets.
Even if you lose all your future bets you will still be at no loss but you will make more profits since you are smart at betting as we know from this bet.  Grin
Let's see what happens in Croatia's next match. I guess it will Argentina will the match.

I guess I am really lucky today.

So here we go with 5650 sats on Brazil.

 Grin

I know odds were clearly showing who's gonna be the winner, but sport is sport. Unfortunately for you... Instead of having 5600 or 22000, now you have 0... but hey, you gained some RPs  Wink

Glad I didn't bet on this, god knows how much I would have lost, I didn't check the odds but I would have said Brazil for sure, without a doubt.

Definitively Croatia is underrated, like people forgot they have played in final match 4 years ago!

Damn bro, Croatia won. Thats really unbelievable but they palyed so damn well.
Brazil on the other hand didn't play like they played in previous match. Surely Croatia's defence was too strong for Brazil to break.
What a match it was. I am happy and sad at the same time. Sad because I lost the bet and 5650 sats.
But I am more happier because I was going to go all in by placing a bet of 21000 sats but I didn't.
Lol, I saved my stack and why won't I be more than happy for this.  Grin
1515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Create wealth first before the use of bitcoin on: December 09, 2022, 03:57:41 PM
I have always come across people giving stories to promote bitcoin or give awareness of bitcoin in rural areas. It is a very nice job to tell people about bitcoin because it is the major currency in the world.  In this rural area how can bitcoin be used when majority of people in the the town are battling with poverty,  and how can bitcoin be used when majority don't have access to Internet.  I think people in rural area needs to be financially stable first before knowing bitcoin.

As per the current state of economy you are quite correct. Currently bitcoin holders requires knowledge and skills to hold their coins securely and make transactions on the blockchain.
One needs to be educated enough and requires a stable source of income to buy and hold bitcoins.
Although a person can buy as low as $10 worth of BTC since BTC can be bought in fractions but it requires an electronic device with internet to get hold of it.
I guess that is the bare minimum necessity if one wants to buy BTC and I guess it's right because one needs to know how to use it properly too.

1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do in this case? on: December 09, 2022, 02:59:11 PM
A well known crypto newbie contact me about two crypto project he his currently holding, Mina Protocol and Fuel, the problem is Alameda and FTX are big investors of these two projects, he is asking if he should sell his bag and replace with other altcoin?

Is this a good reason to sell off your coins and replace with another that Alameda and FTX aren't involved? Pls drop your idea .

What will you do in this case?

We don't know what's gonna be the fate of coins whose investors are Alameda and FTX which is why we should decrease the risk by selling those coins and buying other potential altcoins.
If your friend still believes in the tech he has two options. Either he can buy more to average the price or cut the losses by selling all the coins.
If he is interested in the tech he can buy those coins back when the bull market starts or when things are better for those coins.
1518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 09, 2022, 02:55:21 PM
Brazil will win that is for sure. This is another match for them in the world cup but their have been instances in the past world cups where Brazil being the best team lost a crucial match. The way croatia have played most of their games I think today's match won't be easy for Brazil. We will know the answer in some hours. Let's hope for the best.

It might be a competitive match for Croatia but will Brazil has the edge because of their offensive gameplay.
If Croatia wins it will be shocking for many but yeah lets see. Just a few minutes more before the kickoff.
My bets are on Brazil and I think they will win the match at least with 2 leading goals.

By the way do you or anyone knows why Ronaldo didn't play much in the last match?
I have been curious why he wasn't included in the line up.

I guess I am really lucky today. I just won 5000 satoshis after so long time from the WoF spins.
Actually I was going to bet on Croatia vs Brazil match and put the bet on Brazil ofcourse.
But I was confused of the amount I should bet on Brazil.
I had 36 WoF spins and so I though lets spin all of them and put the BTC I receive from it as a bet on Brazil.
Who knew I would 5650 sats lol. But yeah it's a decent bet to place I guess. So here we go with 5650 sats on Brazil.

1520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Crypto With a Job.. on: December 08, 2022, 04:43:12 PM
Does anyone here day trade crypto successfully whilst working a full time job?

I have medium experience with trading crypto and over the last few weeks have been mainly using the TradingView scalping indicator from https://cryptochiefs.io with good results. The problem is that I find it really difficult to manage the trades properly whilst working as they move fast any normally require that I am watching the screen. Kind of thinking I either need to forget about the idea or scale up from where I am and go full time.

Those of you with normal jobs, are you day trading or mainly long term crypto investors/ HODLers?!!

Day trading is hard if you are having a full time day job. I mean you have to manage your work and then your house and then your trades.
Day trading requires monitoring the trades which is not feasible for many if they have a day job.
Even I have a day job and do few trades in a month but I don't do day trading since it requires time and effort.
I mostly buy some trades and wait for few days or weeks for my targets to achieve.
