1521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - BOUNTIES - Released! on: January 12, 2014, 12:06:54 PM
On a more happy note, are there any exchange threads out there now?
Btw why the change to 1000MRC after block 310k? Wouldn't it kinda kill the coin/network, given how many coins have been mined out there and the diff between the "launch" block payout.

Imo this could kill the coin given that theres so many MRC out there, with a couple of big bag holders, making the prices on exchange staying a bit low. Which then again makes mining for 1000MRC pr block kinda unattractive. Diff goes down, to even out and not let the block chain slow down.  But all of this just opens an whole other can of worms (51% attacks, large pump/dump on exchanges etc)

here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=409083.0
Actually this is typed so it's easy to understand but when I look source I see blocks will be counted as follow:
0-10,000 = 0,0001 blocks
10,001 - 160,000 = counting up +1
160,001 - 310,000 = counting down -1
310,000 - = counting down  -0.01 UNTILL BLOCK REWARD IS 1000
And after that, if there is any maxmoneysupply coins left, all blocks are solid 1,000

If some one have time to calculate exact block number when reward is solid 1000 please put the result here Smiley
Any way, this slow decreasing sould make good for price.
Its better that like usually blocks halved.

9000 = 0,01 * x
x = 900.000 blocks

(60*60*24)/32 = 2700 blocks each day

900.000 / 2700 = 333,33 days

Edit: around block nr. 1.210.000
Thanks mate.
Sounds good time for me.

so whats the starting diff? You still haven't answered the question. and "a low diff" is not answer. an EXACT number is an answer.

Premine + Instamine = Scam.

Prove me wrong.

I agree. What if a 100mh/s solo miner eats all the blocks @ 0.00024xxx diff? When there is an opportunity for farms to instamine crapcoins, it always happens.
Thats true.
Then there is 24,000,000 premine and 24,000,000 instamine Smiley
I'll keep my rig on microCoin. diff is more but block reward increasing all the time  Grin

How many coins you mean when you say 1.5% of USDE premined?

1,600,000,000*1.5% =24,000,000

do you think we should waste our time to mine the shit coin??
24,000,000 premine?
I'm out. Bye and good luck.

Made a small giveaway, look it up if your interested https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=411350.msg4454398#msg4454398

Where can i send MRC to support he giveaway?

Seems like this number guessing giveaway doesnt really fit the people. Only like 4 people guessed.

When I made my last giveaway on CAT tons of people replied but that was a normal "reply for CAT" stuff.

I could close the giveaway down add another 6000 of my coins we can get 12000 together and I can give out like 500 for every reply or so?

i wanted to send you 24K, so dont worry about 12 :-)

Send the amount you would feel right here: 1JL3C48KxqxqM7zsogh5fiJjPYrGp78ddG

And ill open another giveaway asap
Sent 100,000 for giveaway
Lets make this coin rock  Grin
1539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BillionCoin | First coin with integrated chatroom in wallet on: January 11, 2014, 03:39:52 PM
Is this coin premined or instamined?
1540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] microCoin MRC - Scrypt-Jane - nFactor - BOUNTIES - Released! on: January 11, 2014, 02:49:54 PM
I have a question about the nfactor. If the nfactor increase, my hashrate of my gpu will decrease, right?
But what happens with the network diff? If every gpu is less efficient the total network hash should decrease. Will also the network diff decrease in the same way or not?
So is it all the time same efficient for me to mine this or not (excluded the changing block rewards)?

Can somebody explain that to me, please?
Yes and no.
nFactor idea is decreasing GPU speed making step by step CPU mining more profitable.
So, you will not get same profit with GPU mining on later, even when diff goes lower.
Specially if cloud server CPU miners start mining that coin.
