I have tried ticket, chatbox, and Skype to find out why ccex wallet is down. No response on any of those. I give up with them

Even if you put the checkpoint server back up to I need to import private key into a new wallet.dat and how to do that ?
You don't have to, but some coins may never confirm if you have something funny displaying Old wallet.dat Save output New wallet.dat importprivkey <output from above> |

Try importing private key into a fresh wallet.dat
You can also try clearing orphans by right clicking a line in the spreadsheet of the transaction tabs
I did warn you guys these could pop up without checkpoints. It's not a rollback, though, as implied earlier. Single nodes that have no checkpoint reference could momentarily fork. I did tell all of you this months ago when I was being accused of being responsible for the Bittrex listing
I can always bring back the checkpoint server, but if I host it again I don't want to hear any bitching that I'm doing it wrong, because I'm not

Whoever fucks up would be the one to pay for it, just like Bittrex covered their error. I would have paid for their loss out of my own pocket if it was my fault, which it was not I would never fork for a loss, if that's what you're asking, when an exchange messes something up. They shouldn't be staking user funds at all anyway, especially if they are charging for trade/withdraw fees, as well, on a coin with no network fees |
