Hey, it's a bit scummy that the numbers at the stats page are going up in a fake manner. It only takes a page refresh to find it out lol.
It is a bit scummy to call it fake when you don't understand it. The stats page is cached on Cloudflare and updated once per hour. When it is updated we run an animation that counts from the old number to the new number to give you a sense of how fast the values are increasing. When you refresh the page less than one hour since the last time you just restart that animation. |

The only reasons someone would not get the password change email is either it is getting filtered by their email provider (spam folder or not delivered) or the account has been banned for multi-accounting abuse. I obviously can't tell which of those it is in the case as they haven't told me either the user ID or email of the account.

I think freebitco should add Basketball world cup on their betting section. I am sure there are many basketball enthusiasts that will participate in world cup betting.
Now we are still on the second group stage phase. Till now the first group stage and half of the games of second group stage has missed. I suggest freebitco to run basketball world cup betting from quarterfinals (next round). Such a big tournament shouldn't be missed on freebitco.
Basketball world cup is certainly more attractive than Rugby matches.
I thought that FreeBitcoin.io is for faucets to get free bitcoins as the name implies  and never thought that there are sports betting on them. Adding Basketball particularly the on going FIBA world cup and the upcoming NBA would be good so users could have lot to choose which platform to use. An entry in a DB doesnt cost a dime more than what it costs for the db hosting. There have been 233 lottery weeks, of that, maybe 1 or 2 people have come forward to say they won something of significance in the lottery. Thats pretty good proof right there in itself that most of the "winners" are just that, completely fake. Besides, I find the lottery to be a complete waste anyway. It's totally pointless. It would just be better if it went away completely and was replaced by more referral percentage. At least that would motivate more people to promote the site more than they would from something they never win anyway. I still don't understand the simple logic that it wouldn't work because it increases the prize fund.

I think Freebitco should publish this list every week for weekly lotteries too. I have heard from many users that complain about weekly lotteries. If this list is published, I am sure more people will buy tickets.

Its not my place to question Freebitco.in on how to run their business but the difference in profit margins from one event to the next does appear erratic. Its as if the site is taking widely different cuts from each individual event instead of say a flat 15% for example.
Does anyone know whats behind this? Rounding errors for example wouldnt explain these differences. Am I missing something?

The profit margins are not erratic. It is not fixed odds betting it is a parimutuel betting system. That means all the money goes into a prize pool, we take out a 5% rake and then the rest is shared out among the winners. |

I did announce here we would stop taking new bets because things could get decided one way or the other at any time now. UK is all set to leave EU unless Boris decides to reverse his decision overnight, which I doubt will happen as it was his promise of leaving EU with or without a deal which got him elected in the first place.
It is not that Boris will change his mind it is that the remainers will tonight try to take control of parliament away from the executive (Government) and pass legislation to prevent the UK leaving on 31st October. |

Ok, now the quarter-finals are settled I'll add that. IIRC it was the French open when more was bet on the women but I think that tends to be more related to how the contest pans out. If a lot has been wagered on the favourite and they then get knocked out it makes the prize pool more attractive to bet on who is left. If I had got the men's up earlier the same thing would have happened after Djokovic pulled out. |
