I am not 100% sure if I agree with that. Maybe here it is not such a big deal but you do share lambo winners here (which is I am sure not because of anything specific, just to show it is fair) but in other places I have seen people share big wins all the time, I don't want to name any other casinos names, but whenever there is a big win in a casino they share the big win on their bitcointalk topic all the time, and in another place which is a sportsbook they share all the parlays all the time whenever someone wins a big odd thing.

So, I know minimum of two places which are HUGE in their respective parts of the gambling world, they keep sharing all the big wins. If they didn't care about individual success and think that does bring more business, they wouldn't share all those things all the time, whenever someone wins like a 40x or more odds they keep sharing it, or if it is huge amount. Hence I believe there are some casinos who cares, and some who do not care, I do not think that there is one correct answer to it.

It's something I'm not personally keen on. I think there should be some kind of opt-in for the winners to decide if they want publicity or not.

The betting table looks filled enough Tokyo Olympic but several games aren't popular for me such as hockey, golf, and rugby. Is there any possibility to list popular sports for the next like athletics, swimming, and volleyball?.

There are thousands of events at the Olympics and everyone would have a different idea of what is popular. We should have a few athletics and cycling bets coming up but I don't want to go over the top on it (not least because of the work involved for me tracking the results and doing the payouts on time). The betting is the most support intensive side of the site in terms of the number of queries I get about each bet.

No. The cost of giving it to you is calculated on the fact that you sleep so if we did it for shorter periods we would have to reduce the amount of each one to compensate.

In that case how will you guys reduce to compensate when bitcoin is valuable enough that the faucet would need to pay less than 1 satoshi in the base prize? Will you increase the time between each collect? Or maybe set the base to zero and only rolls of 9886 and higher would pay? Also it seems that the faucet would pay 1 satoshi when bitcoin is 200k dollars because the max prize of $200 would be 100000 satoshi.

The most likely solution would be to increase the number of decimal places.
hey the quinn id like to ask is it possible for someone who claims up to 18 to 21 hours a day to get banned for over claiming the faucet with the possibility they mainly sleep on weekends but claim practically all the time

We use sophisticated tools that can tell with a very high probability if you are using automation rather than really staying awake all week.

I doubt casinos do hate big winners, if they didnt exist it would reduce their overall revenue which is where they pick up the profit just from averages not the idea of waging any war or even negative stance towards seperate players.   If anything surely casinos want more notable winners so long as it also correlates to more custom, almost every industry its about the revenue and growth etc.

Casinos don't have an interest in individual outcomes. They just want people to wager because that gives them a chance to profit.

Can we activate the rewards points for less time? Like 12 or 6 hours at time instead of 24h?  Because with 24 a big chunk of it will go to waste when sleeping.

686  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: July 20, 2021, 02:08:58 AM
What about putting the fully functioning clearnet site behind Cloudflare, but simply displaying large warnings all over it that it is using Cloudflare along with links and recommendations to use the Tor site and explanations why, rather than just having a landing page with no mixing functions on the clearnet site? That way people who might just want to test it out, or are using some public computer without Tor, or for whom Tor is difficult to run due to ISP or government restrictions,* or just want to break the blockchain link and aren't worried about Cloudflare, etc., can still mix their coins while still being aware of the reduced privacy and increased risks they are taking?

I like this suggestion. There's probably a lot of people like me that want the privacy of it not being public knowledge how much coin I have or where it came from but have nothing to hide from the NSA.

You should be grateful.  You and the other guy simply bickered and never truly came to a consensus.  If anyone else happens to wonder the same thing, the resolution based on actual findings and not heresy is here for posterities sake.  You're welcome prick.

It took it easy on you because of the fact that you're a noob here and you don't have the first clue about basic forum etiquette and rules.

When you find a dead thread you don't necrobump it, you start a new one. After you find that your accusation is completely false you go back and edit the title of your thread with the word [SOLVED] and edit your text with a strikethrough and add a note explaining why. That way when anyone finds the post they immediately know that the information is incorrect whether they read the subsequent replies or not.

You have a major deficit in self-awareness so you are completely unaware that you are the one acting like a prick here.

This is an example of a newbie showing some common courtesy. [SOLVED] ChipMixer took my bitcoins - 1BTC. They even managed to post on the correct board.

The next time you enter a social situation you are unfamiliar with and you sense hostility you might want to consider the possibility that you are doing something wrong rather than trying to berate them.

How early do you think other places put it in? I mean depends on the games of course, there are some known a lot before of course, like NBA finals are known for the 7th game date before the first game even started. So maybe like do a "who will win the NBA championship suns or bucks?" before the finals even start, and that would give you nearly 10 days maybe even more to list it there, yet it wasn't still there anyway.

So there are those situations, however in euro cup type of situations most places do list the games 24 hours before, or if lucky 48 hours before. Group games were known like weeks before, you could have listed every single group game over a week before they happen as well. I don't know, it just feels like you guys did not wanted to share those things because there weren't enough bet on them, otherwise this excuse just doesn't stay valid when you look at the dates.

The difference is that the other places are major chains of bookmakers with hundreds of high street stores and thousands of employees.

No need for hostility,~

You actually explained yourself why there is.

This is a really old thread and I found your post through a google search after suspecting shady business myself~

You've just necrobumped an old thread and given Google a lot more false information to index for the person to find.
691  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in an actual scam on: July 07, 2021, 10:08:34 AM
This isn't the server seed hash we're talking about.  The server seed hash for the free rolls is different from the server seed for the hi/lo game.  And the very issue we're discussing is the fact that the server seed changes with each roll of the hi/lo game.

Wrong. The mechanics of both free rolls and multiply BTC are identical.

This isn't about winning or losing.  I'm fine with losing if the game is fair, but the fact that the server seed changes with each roll is problematic as I explained in my post.

It's only problematic to you because you don't know what you are talking about.

Good reputation or not, most people aren't technical adept enough to understand the underlying workings of the game mechanics.  The switching of the server seed on each roll without providing a server seed hash prior to each roll (of hi/lo) is suspect and problematic.

It would be problematic if it was true but we do provide the server seed hash before each roll which makes your entire argument complete nonsense.

I mean technically speaking the games are still known minimum 24 hours before they start, usually a lot before.

24 hours is a very short period for the game to be up before betting stops. My objective is to be able to have 7 days of betting to maximise the number of customers able to participate.
693  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 06, 2021, 02:22:25 AM
I can't say I am shocked, many places that does pvp gambling on sports usually stops, there were two other places that did before here and they had to stop as well because it wasn't making any profit at all, people weren't betting on that. I guess its odds thing, people heavily bet on the favorites and then that makes the odds horrible for the favorites, which in the long run great for the underdog gamblers but it still means people will not bet on those odds for too long and go with other places that offer higher odds. Maybe deciding what the odds should be shouldn't be our choice? Cheesy.

I've got to admit I did enjoy checking back in to see the changing nature of the various bets' tallies over the course of a few days/weeks and be able to see exactly how many people had placed wagers on the various contenders, the payouts on offer and the prize pools etc.

I'm hoping that the recent advent of FUN tokens into freebitco.in is the only reason for the lack of available spots to place bets on and that there's not any underling restrictions placed of the site by any govt agencies that are jurisdictional.

it's just a logistical issue with getting the bets up in time. We've just put the football semi-finals up but with these knockout competitions, we don't know the next fixtures until the last moment. We tried to do the NBA playoffs but they start playing the next series as soon as you know what teams have gone through. It'll get back to normal when the summer is over and there are regularly scheduled games.

Interestingly, for many people the odds of winning a Lambo are higher than winning a Rolex.

There's a very good reason for that. WOF is free to play and Golden Tickets cost 0.00025000 BTC.

If I read the roll verifier and the description correctly there are 16^8/4,294967296=1000000000 possible outcomes.
But where do I find which outcome gives which reward?

Click the information mark on the WOF page.

695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [Jun 2021] Mempool empty! Use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs! on: July 05, 2021, 09:13:07 AM
Looking at a chart showing the total network's hash rate is pretty scary. Looks like an altcoin after a huge sell-off. From around 150 TH/s at the beginning of June, the hash rate dropped by almost 50% in July. But it seems to be taking a turn for the better now after reaching a bottom at around 84 TH/s if the data I am looking at is correct.

I don't find it scary at all, it's good news all around. There's now far less of a concentration of miners in China. The difficulty has dropped making mining more profitable for everyone else. The mempool didn't get excessively congested while it happened so fees weren't too bad. Eventually, all those mining rigs will find their way out of China and get redeployed somewhere else.

Hi everyone! Does anybody know about the poker tournament rules and prize distribution details? How should I claim a prize in case I took one of the mtt winning places? thx

The tournament organiser funtoken.io contacts the winners by email with all the details. The rules are set by the hosts Intertops.

Where can I see the free 4 spins for WOF? Is it through email?

698  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Big wins at FreeBitco.in on: July 02, 2021, 08:59:40 AM
Recently I have started asking users who win $20 and $200 at FreeBitco.in to start posting about their wins in the forum for a small reward in addition to their prize. To keep the place clean, I'll be asking them to post it in this thread. Since FreeBitco.in has a lot more users than this forum, these posts might be from newbies but I have also asked them to post their winning seeds and a screenshot of their win to get the reward. Hopefully we get a lot more people posting about their wins now!

Got this email claiming I won But no change to account balance.
Emailed and no reply.

https://s3.amazonaws.com/roll-verifier/verify.html?server_seed=9d090b1feaab3a6f9621fc7dd06cdc22f5751935b8906536d4a33aa25fa74842&client_seed=3jW0lOnMust74w3A&server_seed_hash=bdab18e22efb82f8a7c870fd0a32f78d933dcc7228eea33df1032b01432560a4&nonce=2924978

That's because the email tells you what to post in this thread to claim the $5 which you didn't do. I would guess you replied to that email to noreply@freebitco.in which isn't delivered anywhere.

Just   for curiosity , Why does all the winners are Newbies with single post in this forum and never comes back after this claim?

does it mean purely BOT account that claims here?
All of you? all newbies and claiming the extra rewards together?

Yeah sounds legit  Grin

Anyway I'm just curious thats all, nothing personal lols.

TBH, I also wondered the same thing and even asked here about this very long time ago and i got some explanations that of course haven't convinced me at all but FreeBitco.in is here for so long that I leaved it with a credit of trust. I have hard time also to believe in all these wins by newbies, so many times, from so many years, because it looks suspicious, there are no older members and for sure many used it, just like me.

I have used Freebitco.in for literally few years, frequently, sometimes spinned multiple times a day and never got higher price as the second or third lowest, of course that was also VERY RARE event and usually I got the minimum ALWAYS. We have to add that I used it last time 2 years ago, so less users and bigger chance to win  Wink. I also had many active refs, that shows how engaged I was in the service.

I can share my stats here to prove my words. Like everybody, I would like to believe that everything is ok, but taking into consideration my personal experience, I am full of doubts.

Have a look at the stats on bpip.org. They currently say the forum has 139,523 active profiles as defined by having logged in within the last 3 months. Most of those are newbies. Looking at the other stats they show I'd guess that number of active older members like us is probably in the single digits of thousands. It really isn't surprising that the vast majority of our 46 million registered accounts don't use the forum.
@ahanford999 The reason we insist on a screenshot of the FREE BTC page rather than the roll history is to try and stop the bots claiming the extra $5. We put a message on the page telling them to screenshot it when they roll that they won't see if they are a bot. If you click the image links they post you'll see that a lot of them aren't getting paid.
this is the list of those that posted the correct screenshot since I last paid them out.

I think the hi/low game with the 5% house edge just became a novelty thing for faucet users to spend their dust on ...and serious gamblers never used it for too long, because as you said... many other Crypto casinos are offering much better odds on their dice games.

I am sure they have plenty of serious gamblers. They would not be able to give away a lambo every six months if that were not the case. They would not even be able to sustain the faucet just from small gamblers. There is not any advertising on the site so the money for all these giveaways has to come from somewhere.
So you do have suspicions on where these funds do came from? Imagine on how old this site and and how long its been operating. It isnt really just impossible that they would be giving out these decent prizes or promotions.

They might not really that active when it comes to advertisement but you dont now on how popular or well known this site is.So you had mentioned about funds used on giveaways then what you do have in mind?

They wont be giving out if they werent profitable in the first place.

You can just check the daily jackpot, monthly wagering contest and daily wagered on the stats page to see that we have as many if not more serious gamblers than all the other sites. Serious gamblers look at the whole package and don't have a blinkered view of just the HE.
