How about everyone give me ALL their money, and I'll look after everyone with it.  FREE HOUSES, FREE FOOD, FREE TV, FREE DRUGS.  What else could a country want?

1524  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASIC bandwidth on: October 23, 2012, 03:02:33 PM
1K/s sounds pretty good.  I'm using about 1.5GB a month with 8 GH/s. That sound about right?

Would that mean a BFL SC at 60GH/s would use about 11GB a month?

I wonder if some of the purchasers with small download limits would be affected by this...

What do you guys think these new ASIC devices will use in downloads and uploads?

Install Sapphire Trixx and check "Disable ULPS"

then install MSI afterburner.  Make sure your clock speed is reading what its meant to 800/900/1000 or whatever.

reboot, and tell us what happens

The 7000 series is a pain in the arse for mining.  I really wish I'd only bought 5970s.

oh well.  when its too expensive to GPU mine, I'll just have to put em in my PC and play BF3 in super duper detail Cheesy

1532  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: [Poll] What have you doing with the coins you mined? on: October 19, 2012, 01:55:37 PM
I'm basically selling the percentage of the bitcoins that I mined to cover electricity.  Keeping 95% of the rest of it, for when bitcoin raises to $1100 each Smiley
1533  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: here's just how screwed ASIC buyers are - READ THIS if you have a preorder on: October 19, 2012, 01:53:28 PM

9) after 120 days the asic market will be completely different, with people buying 1TH for 1000$

Yes, you are all screwed.

And if no super mega 1TH machines come out, I'll have made my money back in under a year, and hopefully bitcoin will be super popular (making the payoff time a lot shorter)

Haven't they done something like this?  Bitcoin Foundation?

1535  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Linux vs Windows for Dedicated Mining on: October 19, 2012, 01:38:10 PM

You could learn how to use Windows instead though.  Then it'd not be a pain in the ass.  I've never had a virus ever.  I've never had it crash ever.  That's because I know what I'm doing.  Linux is not user friendly but if you want to take user unfriendliness to the next level, just go on a Linux forum and ask a question.

Same here.  I don't get viruses, don't even have firewall or anti-virus installed!

This might sound like a silly question, and I don't mean it to be, but...

Will you be renaming your mining pool when the reward rate halves?

www.25btc.com <---you own that yet?

Linux is a PAIN IN THE ARSE

If you're not 100% versed in LINUX, just install windows.  IT'S EASIER

Blaming familiarity with one for lack of ease on the other works both ways. This is my version.

NO DON'T TALK ABOUT WINDOWS LIKE THAT.  I LOVE HIM.  YOU DON'T KNOW ME
