1541  Economy / Economics / Re: What country do you think will recognize Bitcoin as an official currency? on: October 04, 2017, 06:52:44 PM
I think for bitcoin to be a real currency, government have to accept it first.

So I ask what country do you think will recognize it as a currency?
There are categories on what kind of currency you are pertaining to but as far as i understand you are mentioning here about bitcoin being legalized and making it as the main currency of a certain country.I would say there no country would do such thing. They might able to adopt it but replacing their own local fiat currency would really be an impossible thing to happen.
1542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My story so far on: October 04, 2017, 05:56:31 PM
Yes, trading as a newbie will set in emotions  I.e fear and panicking  to become a good trader you have to train yourself on psychological aspect of trading, there are a lot of  ebooks and YouTube videos on those aspect.
More so, there are some trading platforms that encourages a newbie to demo-trade I.e using virtual coins to trade until you started making profits consistently thereafter you can invest and always trade with the amount of investment you can afford lose e g 10% of total investment.
Demo trades could really help you out to train yourself which is good but when it comes to psychological aspects demo trading is different on actualt live trading which you can actually tell the difference on the pressure that it gives. This is why emotions is the most common enemy on trading field. If you cant able to control such thing for sure you would really have a hard time to do profitable trades.
1543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: October 03, 2017, 07:55:04 PM
Would you accept bitcoin as your salary in your profession, especially if you work in other country?

For me yes I will accept bitcoin because we can exchange it in our local currency.

This is good, however, there's risk when you receive a bitcoin salary. As we know, bitcoin price is volatile, so what if you receive your salary today and bitcoin price drops a lot the other day. You would end up bankrupt if bitcoin price drops a lot if you will have it as your salary.
Yes that's going to be stressful to live like that. I wouldn't love that way of life and payment.
But in the situation if you receive salary in Bitcoin and pay for your costs in the same Bitcoin it's going to be ok, due to the price of Bitcoin in dollars doesn't going to be the matter. Right? Wink
Thats the part of the risk when you do decide to recieve bitcoin as your salary from your regular job.You will lose if the price is going down and you would earn profits or bonus if the price would tend up.If you can handle that kind of movement then its your choice but same as you said it is somehow stressful on this kind of scenario since you would always checking it out if the price have risen or falling.
1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hey guys, how do I even buy altcoins? on: October 03, 2017, 07:15:23 PM
I noticed coinbase doesn't allow me buy altcoins.

What are some suggestions to buy these altcoins and what are your top #5 picks in terms of ICO/Altcoins to buy?
Why coinbase? In fact there are lots of reputable exchanges which do offer lots of altcoins that do exist on the market. Coinbase do only offer BTC,ETH,LTC - correct me if im wrong since this is the coins i have seen why i do visited the site.If you do really love to see lots of variety of altcoin then i would suggest poloniex bittrex, c-cex exchanges. For sure you would enjoy on selecting lots of coins.lol
1545  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make a win-win situation for both government and digital currency ? on: October 03, 2017, 06:35:02 PM
How a government can still manage its control over currency and finance without harshly regulating digital currencies ? Can we ever have a win-win situation ? Is there any economic model for decentralized currencies ?

I think it is so hard to regulate something that the main essence is to be decentralize, meaning you want to control a thing that don't want to be controlled. I think the best shot for governments to do in this thing is to put a proper department or branch of their government in filtering cryptocurrency scene instead of banning or shutting it down as a whole because hindering it will not cure the cause instead it just worsen it.

We all witnessed in how modern technology really adopt from the real world to the world of virtual, and we are here to the point that in digital world we embraces the digital currency so meaning the force of strong digital police must born if governments really want to help their citizens in their country for the future cryptocurrencies.
Controling a decentralized stuff would really be a hard thing for government this is why they do really do such thing on banning it some did able to adopt it because they cant do anything.I do love the idea that cryptocurrencies should really have an another department on where government would able to monitor rather than on banning it.
1546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next Alt boom is set to launch after BTC fork on: October 03, 2017, 04:53:13 PM
All were seeing right now is small pumps and dumps in the alt market. No sustained growth vs BTC.
If you do try to see on the charts it do really have small pumps and dumps which is somehow they stabilizing their prices which waiting for something big to come in which is actually happening on bitcoin for once again.
Theres no assurance of altcoin boom but most likely we can assume that this thing will possibly happen just like what happen on previous fork on bitcoin there are really some major movements on alts reaching new ATH's.
1547  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: October 03, 2017, 02:56:17 PM
So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

Maybe I'll kill myself.
However losing all the Bitcoin I invested was a nightmare. maybe I will be trauma and will no longer do Bitcoin business.
Dying is not the solution for the problems for this you need to hold your bitcoin for future. It will give you high profit. When you lose the profit you should not complain for it just hold your bitcoin for the long time and you will they get the profit in the future but don’t be impatient in the case of the bitcoin.

If he is willing to kill himself just because get lost in trading means that he is not a real trader. Real trader should know the worst risk before start trading and know how to deal with the situation. It does not make senses to die because losing on trading, just a dumb person who cant control himself will do it.

Exactly! If you are into trading than you should know where you exit the trade, before even entering it! That's the first thing I learnt on a stock market!
Since you do have already an idea on stock market trading then you are already familiarize on the terms used on crypto trading and you do really have the experience already regarding on entering and exiting trades but knowing on the volatility of cryptos this thing would really be lot different on stock market.I know that you know what i mean.If you do already engage on crypto trading you would really able to tell the difference.

1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: October 02, 2017, 06:43:18 PM
Crime is everywhere and we can't ban it. If we even tried, how would you do it? Goverments are trying to get rid of paper money and switch to online banking because they could control everything easier. No more tax evading, buying illegal things etc. If something like this happened, I think they would use gold or silver for transactions.
Criminals would really do anything to transact with those things which do have value which as being said here if they would need to transact gold and silver for sure they would do such thing since they know its still money because it does have value and bitcoin isnt an exception on that one specially its decentralized and anonymous. Its the perfect recipe to commit crime when it comes to money transactions.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dash bounty campaign on: October 01, 2017, 06:56:33 PM
Development campaign. I do not have the URL. If I had, I would not have to ask you, would I? My friend said, if you develop parts for the Dash project, you can get bounty for your programming. She was in hurry and did not provide the URL, though.
Have you tried out to google it? I dont have much idea on that kind of bounty of dash project when it comes to programming. You can find it just try to make use of the search bar on this forum or the fastest would be google for sure.
1551  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: October 01, 2017, 05:57:40 PM
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much

Bitcoin has the potential to reach the 5000 milestone within the time frame of 5 years, it can be confirmed if we look at the current steady growth of the bitcoins.
if look to the current  steady i think it will cross 10000 dollar after 5 years.
It would surely be on that range on upcoming 5 years but we cant still be sure on what would exactly be the price it might be more or even bitcoin is already dead on that time.No one knows because no man can able to predict the future but if we do try to see its progress on its 7 years on existence we can really see the progress which we can able to presume on the possible things to happen ahead.
1552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: October 01, 2017, 04:59:38 PM
Yes has many airdrop coin here
one's the latest airdrop campaign link: http://www.ebtc.io . you can do it.
I think it's the good one, and hope it will success.

best of luck
I think it's already finished a day ago. ebtc say last time to register is 30/9 so now people can't join this airdrop anymore
This is already been closed and the coins have been distributed already on 8k address. Isnt it amazing?  I havent see any new airdrop coins as of now on which most of those airdrops on recent days are on hold or just waiting up for an another round specially on FunnelToken too. There are lots of choice though.
1553  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: October 01, 2017, 04:28:16 PM
No, unless society is used with cashless/electronic payment method and most people have smart device with internet connection. Also, cryptocurrency is practically useless in poor country.
Digital currencies like Bitcoin and Etherum provide an easy and inexpensive way of transferring money, which can be a replacement to postal companies such as Western Union. They essentially also provide means of detaining money if you aren’t dealing with bank accounts or credit cards, which is frequent in the developing world.
In these countries if people want to send money to their family in the countryside, most of them have to send it in a bag with someone, which isn’t a tenable situation in this era. So cryptocurrencies aren't that "useless" in "poor countries" .

Its not really useless even on rich people too knowing that theres no people have been selected on who would be the one to make use of it.As long we can able to make use on cryptos we can really send funds in a matter of clicks which is more comfortable compared into those money remittances. They do really have already a competitor when it comes to money transfer and im sure they are aware on the existence of crypto as of now.
1554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: you need to overcome your fear of losing money on: October 01, 2017, 03:43:10 PM
Losing is part of successfully trading. If you treat losing as part of trading then you are an experienced trader.

So, it's not 100% surely profit... There are a lot of risks here, same with gambling. I would say trading has something similar as sports betting. You have a cue based in facts and observation, so you use your money to make an action based in your prediction. It can be successful or not. Higher chance of profit than Dice game, but not certain...
In trading you cant really avoid on making trades on which you are really just hoping that price would go as you liked which is really similar on playing gambling liked on sports betting but i would say that both things are different specially on longer runs. Losing money cant really be avoided since anything on this world when it comes on making money do really have the risk on losing some.
1555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin now Down more! on: September 27, 2017, 03:16:50 PM
Bitcoin now Down more, about 3900 usd.
I thinking bitcoin price would be up to 5000 usd after the month of October.  Its only my personal opinion.  It can be? or not? anyone explain?  Can you tell when the price can be grow more?

Advance thanks  Cool
No one knows but if we do try to see on the possible events that would happen on Bitcoin ecosystem then we can assume price would still drop specially on China ICO regulation and closure of exchanges which would happen on the end of this month.Lets see what would be the effect on upcoming days to come or even on the month of October if theres a dip then dont worry since it the best time to buy more cheap bitcoins.
1556  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc drop near 2k? on: September 26, 2017, 03:58:37 PM
I felt like I missed a great opportunity at selling high and buying low when it reached 5k and drop to 4k a couple of days ago. Now it happened again from 4k to 3k. You think it will happen a third time, from 3k to 2k?
All has the possibilities on sudden price decrease but seeing on the price support of bitcoin its hard to to believe that it would reach again 2k price.Just like yours im always regretting on not to buy on those possible bottom prices and seeing the price have climbed up and i do say to myself that i did miss again on making some good money on those movements.
1557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin growth again, what to do? on: September 26, 2017, 02:59:11 PM
Bitcoin growth again, for two days it's turn back his position 3960$ and continue to grow!
Should I go to bank and buy bitcoins?
If you do have plan to buy bitcoin you should bought on those 3400-3500 prices wayback on recent weeks which for sure you are earning profits as of now since price did hit up on 3900 and gradually increasing even more. For now its your decision if you do buy on this prices, which i consider is high which its much better to wait a little bit more after on the end of this month which we can possible see more lower prices.
1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: right time to buy alts on: September 25, 2017, 07:01:22 PM
Right time to buy alts is when bitcoin is at long term lows and nobody is talking about it. Picking up LTC @ 0.002 kinda prices etc.  Right now people are very excited about crypto its best to hold bitcoin to preserve your crypto wealth with the least effort.  Holding alts right now means you'd need heavy research daily.
currently bitcoin has continued to strengthen since news from china some time ago. after bitcoin has increased and re-gain I see altcoin lot in market experiencing stats "red" lol. so it's true what you say that, when you want to buy altcoin maybe you should also see the condition and situation of the bitcoin market
I cannot continue buy altcoin because those coins never have limit bottom price lol =_=. Honestly, if you do not take profit after bought some altcoins, you will become a holder in long time while you do not want that Grin
Most of cases most altcoin holders do end up on this one which they would hold up altcoin for long specially when they did miss the peak price or the last pump of the coin and tend to wait again hoping that it would pump up again and as you said we wont really know on what would be the limit or its bottom price since they are really unpredictable depending on the interest of community together with a slight manipulation on prices.
1559  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dividing your salary. on: September 25, 2017, 05:40:02 PM
I am just trying to convert all my earnings into crypto now. I exchange them to fiat or spend them when I need it. Otherwise, everything will be in crypto, mostly bitcoin and only sometimes it will be in my favorite altcoins. At least 35-40% of my earnings goes to savings.

This is very dangerous, even you like crypto that much, you need to save some fiat currency so that you don't cry if a major market crash happens ever.
Your life would got messed up if market crashes to the bottom and all of your assets or money go all in on crypto and as you said its really a risky and dangerous thing to do.We should always set-aside on savings and prioritize insurances and common needs on our daily living.10% allocation would really be already enough i guess or its still big for me and also this is only the amount i can able to risk.
1560  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 25, 2017, 04:31:05 PM
Best with out do any thing is buy bitcoin when price down and sell when price high but you need more than 1 bitcoin to be effect

If you have lots of capital, this is really a good way to earn a good living - buying low and selling high with bitcoins and or with other altcoins. There are ordinary people out there in exchanges that are making big money just by trading and some really make it a full-time work and their main source of living.

trading is indeed the best way to get a lot of advantages. but we must remember that doing so was not easy as the theory of buy when prices down and selling when prices are high. all it takes knowledge, if you don't have skills we will be difficult to make a steady income in trading.

Buying low selling high is just a normal concept or basic thing to do on trading world but infact this is the hardest part when you are already on the battlefield on which you would see that this thing is wont really be easy.
Trading can really make an income but wont guarantee you to give you a steady income for daily basis knowing that we cant be sure on having a fix profit for day and thinking off that we would really have losing trades too.
