Imagine when the alts crash and that money come to btc. We'd already be at $5k

What would make the alts crash? I can't see it myself.

Well, if BTC is a bubble and goes down say 30% alts will crash more * used to be the logic *
the old saying

Bitcoin gets a cold, the alts get pneumonia saying....

but hell, this is so much like the pump of 2013 I'm not sure wtf to think

in Oct 2013 I got into mining and BTC was 150 the day I started.....2 days after
thanksgiving I think it was over 1100 usd..then of course the epic crash....into
the next year

So is this a repeat...say 3k btc then a dump back to 1k btc? Or is the bubble gonna
burst at 10k btc and drop down to 5k?

wild stuff, getting to be real damn money hanging out there on my hoard now

pucker time! for holders!

There is no bubble! ... yet... Cheesy Cheesy

A probable small correction between 2550$ < > 2650$ ... then the pump keeps going I guess!

But the difference now is that back then no one really viewed bitcoin as something that they could hold more precious than the normal fiat fake paper money or ones and zeroes on a screen backed by nothing... I think now people will be more reticent on dumping. So... FOMO INTENSIFIES!!! Cheesy Cheesy

Welcome back Richy!

Buyable dip yet?

fucking bitstamp is down. ffs!!

Everything under 5k $ is a buyable dip for the next 1-2 years!!!  Grin

With 100  btc this is getting serious, from a pucker factor perspective.

Sell/Fold  or Pucker/Pray

Getting way beyond interesting ......

You should invest 1% when you think you have too much. And I for one do not trust in the future of humanity and fiat (of any country, maybe except Chile (those f*ckers still have their money backed up by gold)).

But with 1% of what you have... you should start a business. But start by investing nothing or a maximum of 10% of that 1%. Smiley  ... Try to sell something that you can get for free... out of thin air! Cheesy Cheesy

*edit: When the bubble starts and bursts, you can get out at 30-32k $ or you can always check out these forums for unexpected news! Cheesy Cheesy

The dumps we have nowadays are great. No drama, just healthy corrections. I can live with those.

Governments or what opposing factions are there somewhere... It feels like they have stopped throwing money at the screen! Cheesy Cheesy

(Maybe its time.... that time of the decade or century when they doing crashes all over the place and just don't care anymore at this point... Smiley )
1546  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 22, 2017, 10:29:40 PM
Anyway, until then back to watching the price 10 times per hour.
never fail never miss.  Cheesy
That's dedication. Wow
This would drive me crazy, tbh. Tongue

If it also gets SegWit activated in the process then isn't it solving something?

Increasing the block size to 2Mb is not a slippery slope. It does not necessarily follow that we will then go to 4mb, 8mb, 16mb until full centralization.

"full centralization" ... the fuk you are smoking there?? Cheesy Cheesy

I for one if there is a split... I'm gonna use both versions of the coin, encourage and support them! Even the weaker / useless one! Just because I feel like trolling the other one that feels more entitled! Cheesy Cheesy

Any so called "agreement", privately discussed only by a bunch of suits and not including input from any core devs, will fail.

Period.

Anyone believing otherwise is delusional.

The fact that the suits believe they are in control of anything, or can influence anything, is equally delusional.

Well... basically they still don't realize that everyone can create their own country just with 1 bitcoin and have their separate system.

Bitcoin user be like : "Mom... gonna start my own global banking system with just a thousand bitcoins!"  Cheesy  Cheesy

(*edit:) The conclusion being that even if a majority decides something, as long as there is a minority with the concept of the crypto (of bitcoin)... They will just decide to part ways and create their own economic union with their parted share and even maybe buying out the penny on the dollar coins that are left... or trying to get them for free from the ones that don't see any value in them anymore. Just for them to have control and majority... And this is how tyrannies are built!!! Cheesy Cheesy

Perhaps the miners have decided to stop trolling us and have gone long on bitcoin ...

if it's positive news and enough insiders know about it which it sounds like they do, wouldn't there be some price movements? same goes for terrible news too of course.

Miners becoming hodlers?? Cheesy Cheesy

1920$ at preev & I wouldn't call this a "natural growth" I mean c'mon we've been around long enough to see what organic really means (a couple of bucks maybe 10$ per day) but that's something else.

Some have been around long enough to know that applying linear rules isn't very wise.

It feels pretty organic to me. I'm seeing a lot of currency wars happening. The US dollar seems to be losing value or weakening. Just as Trump wants it! But it might spiral out of control at this rate.  Roll Eyes

Ibian tries to distill every argument down into a black and white, yes or no result so that he can claim victory.

Ok here's one for ya Ibian.

Why do you want the price to increase? So that you can be rich one day?

Yes or no? Just answer the question with 'yes' or 'no'.

He seems likely to be paid by someone to try and create 'plausible' propaganda. Smiley

Spreading misinformation are we eh?? Smiley ... But from the way he talks I think Ibian is a kid... or has the mind of one! Cheesy Cheesy

This massive rally might be fueled by the impeachment talks about Trump in the US over the fake news/deep state attacks on him. The markets are down quite a bit.

Yep... its happening! Smiley

I can feel the concern trolling level rising....

New perspective on the whole situation...  Cheesy  Cheesy

1555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 16, 2017, 01:18:23 AM

Hmmm... that seems interesting! Smiley

All I can say is that "the awakening" is coming! And the future is one of individual independence, personal space and privacy... but also transparency for mostly everything! I can already see a thousand individuals per million of people in most of the countries and around the globe with a microscope, centrifuge, spectrometer... etc... testing produce from the supermarket in their own home and posting results anonymously on the internet or in some kind of app. (*edit: that app would work with blockchain technology... so no one could take it down!)
1556  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 13, 2017, 04:01:22 PM

So it's feeling like we're getting close to FUD time, yah? Y'know, the kind of FUD that comes out of left field, the kind that the dumpers use as their supposed "crash" reason.  Roll Eyes

The Dow seems like it wants to crash... and bitcoins looks like it is gonna explode. That money will try to get into gold, silver, bitcoin and other safe things that can't devalue or lose money. Smiley
1558  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 09, 2017, 08:53:37 PM

It should be perfectly clear to everybody that all the money made from altcoins are now coming back to poppa.

The only one which could rise up again tomorrow seems ltc after segwit.

remember everybody will want to cashout after winning on alts

I just like to sit silent and read the comments after of months of "pump"  enthusiasm! Cheesy Cheesy

I just need a break!!!... Sad I'm tired... Sad ... I'm just gonna sip from my vodka with a pasta/macaroni straw and read the comments!   Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

But until new comments appear... lets remember and not forget the pretty numbers of history :

1560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 05, 2017, 06:48:31 AM
We should know bby now when to call it a dump or not. That was not a dump.
That was a sneeze

It feels to be very little resistance... I'm not sure where it will stop. But this feels like the moment when the crowds want more blood to be spilled in the arena and they feel that what they get it is just not enough!

For now... I think that the moment when people will feel pleased to sell, spend and regain confidence... that will be a good price to settle. But till then, there is no confidence and no trust in the system. And the only certainty is that its not high enough and the holders need to be more than pleased, so that they can hand over the keys of their future to some pricks that want to control and enslave them.
