Charlie Shrem from Consensus in NY just moments ago (Pacific Time stamps). Sounds interesting. May I ask what Telegram group this chat is taking place in? I really hope it is good news regarding scaling or Segwit. That would be really bullish!

so if you need to know the price of bitcoin in future, simply take current price then add 50 for every day forward. so for example price of bitcoin next sunday ... 2020 plus (7 times 50 ) equals 2370.. hell... people pay big money for this advice...its not rocket science folks.... (disclaimer ...do your own research)

So sell the news?
the most likely news is that a scaling solution has been agreed on by enough people. do you really wanna sell that particular news? possibly the most important thing that's happened to bitcoin since it was created. good luck with that. this is the type of thing that sends stuff into the stratosphere.

If i read correct Barry Silbert organized the meeting so SW+2MBHF seems to be most likely.

people are already moaning on that r/bitcoin thread and they don't even know what it is yet. if enough people are happy i'll take it.

I don't know how long the 866BTC sell wall has been there on Stamp at $2022 (which is $1.75 million) - but I suspect it is going to be eaten within the next several hours. Anyone think contrarily?
I refreshed and now I see a buy wall of 422 BTC at $2008.69...
Which one will go first... ? I suspect the 422 will go first (maybe gonna get eaten), but? let's see.
Finally, after several hours, we are getting a bit of chomping at the $2,022 wall. There had already been some chomping at the $2,008.69 wall.... .. So, let's see how long this $2,022 wall is going to last and whether it will be eaten or pulled. As I type, about 40 coins bought in the past few minutes, bringing the total remaining coins down to 826.. Popcorn, anyone?

these sentences don't sound too reassuring ++ "a hydrogen bomb is coming" ++ "I wasn't expecting this to be the result" (of the whole HF/Segwit saga). ++ An answer to the question "is there an agreement?" he replied "it's quite on sided hence the use of hydrogen bomb". maybe bitcoin is merging with ethereum.

Perhaps the miners have decided to stop trolling us and have gone long on bitcoin ...

if it's positive news and enough insiders know about it which it sounds like they do, wouldn't there be some price movements? same goes for terrible news too of course.

Whales are strange creatures, selling at the least opportune moments and making moves that don't seem to make sense. I guess you can interpret the bomb to be good and also bad, of which the latter is probably what the whale thought.

These manipulation and/or conspiracy theories about the same whale both buying and selling seems to attempt to over exaggerate the manipulation and attempt to describe the bitcoin market place as if it were some kind of small number of players... comes off as a bit nonsensical, no?
