How's Nexern's client going?
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 17, 2014, 10:23:17 PM
I just remember how quark fell for about 6 months, until it surged to all-time highs and broke new records.  And Quark is crap compared to NXT, so there's no way I'm selling NXT.  Just buying more...
1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [[ANN]] Action required to save NXT on: January 17, 2014, 03:06:07 PM
Nxt deserves to fail due to its extremely unfair distribution model. I would cheer on its collapse and fall into obscurity.

fairness to whom? to outsiders NXT owes nothing
to holders... they knew fully well it's distribution model

NTX problem is a simple one. It's wai overpriced

FUD thread.  Works for me... I'll be scooping up some cheap NXT now.
1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [[ANN]] Action required to save NXT on: January 17, 2014, 03:01:54 PM
good luck with your fork, but without CfB think you are screwed.

Never met a more honest and humble developer in the whole crypto community like CfB.

Just because you don’t like the price now, others are glad they can buy in.

BTW: Hope he don’t give an explanation et all coz who the fuck are you?

Copy the code all you want.  There are really clever people behind NXT and you cannot copy them.
1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 17, 2014, 12:52:36 PM
Looks like I will be scooping up a significant stake in NXT soon at rock bottom prices!

I'll fix the no block source issue for 100 million of these things. talk to your dev and major players, wont take me an hour

Why dont you take 100.000 NRB and fix your own coin?

If there's a problem with the source, then I'd be happy to fix it.  Just let me know the details.
1570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DIME] Dimecoin | Many Coins | Step Reward | CPU mining on: January 16, 2014, 05:01:41 PM
No it's actually good mining.  I wonder though, does it have PoS?
1571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Nxt :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 15, 2014, 10:44:23 PM
What's the smallest worthwhile amount to get of nxt for an investment? I've got 16 LTC, not much.

If nxt makes it big than i would say that 10000 is about what you would need inorder to retire early and live well. it would be like having 210 bitcoins. (21million/1billion)*10000=210

Agreed.

Everyone should read this.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=407388.0
Does anyone know who is the author of the article ? He should be nominated for a reward in article category.

Hi there Grin Thanks for the kind words. I already got 230k in rewards for work in the nxt community. If there is more to give it should go to others.

I helped out in the code review forum, suggesting a couple of solutions to an attack, so don't forget me. Smiley

How many transactions per day do you suppose MtGox or bitstamp do?  Not the volume in BTC or USD, but how many transactions?

anyone?

Look ok?

Is there any reason to prefer calendar over datetime here, generally? That is, will we not have other problems with this new version?

Portability: datetime.timestamp is Python 3.3 only, whereas calendar.timegm works in both 2 and 3.3, AFAIK.

N.B. calendar.timegm expects the time to be in UTC.  What time does the XCP exchange use?

I think BCNext has more important things to do instead of answering hunders of same (or new) stupid (or smart) questions.

I believe that BCNext is actually here doing all that and I am truly afraid that we might be getting close to the day that he STOPS!!!   Undecided

We don't need BCNext anymore. He kickstarted the snowball with name "Nxt", the rest is our work.

We know you two are one in the same. Smiley
