I believe that it is also important to look at the marketing of a project. Golem has obviously succeeded in that field, whereas Elastic has gained less traction. However, marketing is something that you can improve on the run, so I hope this coin will get more publicity in the nearest time.
We are well aware that the project has fallen short in the PR / Marketing department and the main point of releasing the lite wallet is to (a) attract more devs and PR people by allowing them to have a financial stake in the project and (b) to be able to fund a foundation to pay for all work being done on the project going forward. Nearly all the work that has been done on the project so far has been done for the sheer love of it and to produce something that is a worthwhile contribution to the world. As a community we decided that it was unreasonable to carry on like that, expecting the work to continue with no one getting paid, so hence the release of the lite wallet. Best projects always swoop in from off radar and do a killing on the exchanges. I believe XEL is one of these projects. Lots of lame project out there pulling in ICO funds without actually doing anything, some even with crazy ideas that won't work. XEL is the opposite. Already has done tons of development based on sound ideas, small under the radar launch. It will grow. |

Please can someone look into this, This is very serious and need to have all people who got this fatal failure to get their part in the investment.. This project can only be a success is they do things right and fair. Thanks and all the best
It's called the Ethereum blockchain. It cannot handle all the transactions and some (with lower Gwei) get dropped. Until Ethereum devs make Ethereum scale better, the next ICO will have the same problem if it's popular, no matter who runs it. Sorry you were unlucky on this one, but there's plenty of great IPOs coming out. Thanks xibeijan I just wanted a good answer and you gave it to me I did not use the right Gwei, sorry I missed that one I was so excited I missed it! Waited so many days for this and failed to add the correct amount I did not know was going to have that negative effect. Anyway my fault I guess. Good luck anyway!  It's a bit of a problem because when the tx gets included in the block but dropped with that error, the senders don't get the fee back, even though their tx has been made invalid. So Eth's currently not atomic in this respect. The Ethereum devs really need to fix that, considering all the IPOs going on. You can see the same thing going on for the Status ICO... People pasting the same error message. Frustrating. Lots of people get caught by it --> even whales! |

I'm quite enjoying this butt hurt hating rage. Get over with it guys, this will be a success. You can see it miles away.
Also, this was a limited ICO, so only 100,000 ETH's was going to be accepted, if you couldn't get in, then I'm sorry. Everyone had the same opportunities to get in, if you didn't use enough GWEI, I'm sorry that you are with the majority that used 50 gwei.

Disclaimer: I DID NOT GET IN ON THIS ICO EITHER, but still will learn from it. You should too IMHOIf not, then idk what to say for you. GL in cryptoland. I am done right now. Will sit back and enjoy the FOMO and FUD from here on out. Take care fellas Haha. Everyone should be asking how to adjust the Gwei in the wallet. That's what they need to know for next time. |

Just compare Tenx vs Plutus. You will know the difference and why this is a greedy lot to raise such huge amount.
Plutus is nothing like TenX. Plutus does not have COMIT and does not put you in control of your crypto. You pay money onto the plutus platform and get a token and spend fiat. Booo |

I sent ten thousands$ worth ether to ICO page 1 second after it opened, yet my transaction is pending, and i didn't got in... sad... waiting like crazy for this day

So I followed the instructions provided on the Tenx website precisely for the use of MEW (130,000 Gas; 50 Gwei) and sent the transaction within seconds of the ICO open. I watched the timestamp of the transaction advance on etherscan.io every time I refreshed the page.
The transaction bounced just a few minutes ago and evidently I am not part of the ICO.
So, either the ICO cap was fulfilled within a matter of seconds of its opening - or transactions presented to the network later than my own with greater gas/gwei were prioritized.
Frankly, I suspect it is the latter. Assuming so, I am particularly annoyed that following the instructions SPECIFICALLY provided by tenx regarding gas and gwei proved to be a real disadvantage to myself (and many other folk it seems) in successfully subscribing to their ICO.
In which case, what a bl**dy disgrace this launch was.
No it was stated by TenX that these were the RECOMMENDED amounts. Not the maximum amounts. In the Q&A's it was repeatedly said that if you wanted to increase these amounts you were free to do so. Furthermore, TenX did not prioritize those transactions with a higher Gwei price but the Ethereum miners did. If you want to blame anyone for the way the system works you should blame Ethereum. Honestly it is just another case of people not doing their due diligence on how to invest. +1 Who wouldn't up these parameters? Skills required: reading, common sense, mouse clicking |
