Clueless ?? It's dogie man! You should take time to read a little bit more the forum and learn about what your talking about.

Nice...

by the the new BM1384 chip has a max operating temp of 125c...(weather it's ambient or chip temp not sure) but either way, it can run 60-70c just fine..that's why the software has a stop mining is reached 80c checkbox. Smiley

see for your self:
https://www.bitmaintech.com/files/download/BM1384_Datasheet_v2.0.pdf

chapter: 4Electrical Character
section: 4.2.

have a nice day Smiley and the vrm's and other components are the same way new = better

DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE!!!

I said this in the other thread, 125C is a TJ, the sensor you're reading is likely on the PCB and so when its reading 70C, its probably 120C on the actual chip. Do your own research before asking others to do their research when your advise may be catastrophic for their products.

Thanks for the clarification. Smiley
Actually Gprime31 is 1 post account so  Tongue

Wink
1579  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: which software is match to me? on: January 19, 2015, 04:05:29 PM
Hi mshj

CPU mining for bitcoin is over. You will need to find some asic if you want to be part of the bitcoin mining.

Check the Bitmain S5, the Spondoolies SP20 or the Avalon4

Welcome aboard!
1580  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What are some good bitcoin miners? on: January 19, 2015, 03:47:09 PM
Hi rpiswag

You need to understand that you will not become rich by mining.

The time for rich miners is way behind us. However if you still want to mine to learn Bitcoin and get involve I do understand.

The price for gh is right now around 0,5 $ / gh maximum.

Some simple rule about buying miner.

1- Do not buy from ebay except you really know price of all the miners

2- Do not buy from amazon. (too expensive)

3- Check on the forum. Read. You will learn.

Some nice miners actually for home miners(19-01-2015)

Bitmain S5

Spondoolie SP20

Bitmain S3

If it is only for fun you can start with some small usb miners.
Way more expensive (ratio $/gh) but cost less to start.

Good luck and welcome aboard!

Valkir
