Chelsea's performance was not good enough to overthrow Madrid. I doubt Chelsea will do much more, especially as the first leg will be played at home to Madrid. it is quite haunted for an important match Madrid.

Actually the first leg is always a pretty important match. but unfortunately the first leg looks like it will be the most difficult match for Chelsea. I admit Chelsea have had some improvements. but still against Real Madrid is the most difficult task in the Champions League. in addition to the first leg which will be held at home to Real Madrid. certainly will make the advantage more in favor of Real Madrid. Yes, it would definitely take a whole lot to win them as they’ve been playing amazing football and winning games also. Bayern would probably need a miracle to win Manchester City. It would be a lot more exciting to watch them try though. I too feel Manchester City would win(perhaps not as easy as people would think) and progress at the end. City is very good at penetrating their opponents defense thereby creating good chances that in most cases would lead to a goal. Not trying to undermine the capabilities of Bayern as even without Lewandoski, they’re still a force to reckon with. It would definitely be an existing fixture to watch. My money is on Manchester city though. Given that everyone assumes that Manchester City will easily defeat Bayern, despite the fact that Bayern also has a strong record, and despite the fact that Manchester City is a good team, I often feel that the team is overhyped. I know they are good, but they also have clubs and good players who score goals, so don't be surprised if Manchester City doesn't even sniff the trophy this season. First time seeing the odds for Man City vs Liverpool and I'm quite surprised that Liverpool is the heavy underdog @5.2 on moneyline. I mean it's understandable that City will still come out as favorite but I did not expect it to be by that much.
