1561  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best time to buy or wait a little bit ? on: August 04, 2022, 09:34:41 PM
I think it's a good time to buy some crypto. Sooner to later, it will rebounce. But keep some money aside because in case it drops further you still can buy some of it.
It is better to invest little by little rather than investing all the money in cryptocurrency at once.Cryptocurrencies are very difficult to predict when the market will move.If you want to make a long-term investment right now, you can buy and invest in some coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB.But the market will grow very soon. Now is the right time to buy some coins, instead of investing all at once, invest step by step.
Never ever a good idea on making yourself on having that all in kind of behavior which is never been that recommended.Try to observe around on what the masses or community been doing

and if you do see that fear and blood is on the streets then this is the best time for you to make yourself greedy because you could really eventually able to maximize lowest price as possible and take advantage of it.

Best buy is on times like this which it doesnt really come often but since we are just human beings then it cant really be avoided that we are really somewhat get affected with these kind of situations.
1562  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: August 03, 2022, 11:10:43 PM
I have no problem banning gambling in Islamic countries that don't want to take advantage of it. Nor am I insisting that it should be legalized just because of multiple interests, but it is more likely for me to accept any reason to ban or legalize it.

Indonesia prohibits gambling, but in fact some online casinos get away with it without a clear ban. Some online slots and applications are left without restrictions even though they are in Indonesian jurisdictions. It just depends on the corrupt government, it's really up to them.
You could really expect that there would be exemptions whenever we do talk about corruption or something and since we do live on an era where connections and accessibility is easy then getting rid of something

is really hard to be completely blocked 100% since we are already on an era where everything could really be easily accessed through online despite on banning it completely.
I dont really see for it to be needed to be banned as long the government would impose such strict rules and reminders about gambling addiction and related to it.
People wont be really ending up on a disaster if they do just simply play in moderation.
1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: August 03, 2022, 09:36:39 PM
If we are familiar with cryptocurrencies, it will not panic if you see the price of drop, especially those who are accustomed to investing in new listed coins that sometimes go up and down prices can reach hundreds of percent, of course the choice is in our hands, if brave with high risk then buy and hold , because if we panic then we will lose.
for some people , price drop was be their opportunity to earn money by buying good projects. Alot traders or investors buying potential coins while market in bearish trend. Profit never come if have no idea what we will doing in bearish trend. Panic maybe only happen to beginner investor that never seen crashing yet.
Even veterans or old people here on the market could still experience panic despite of the knowledge and awareness that they do have in the market. There's no such thing about being perfect trader or something like that

which it would be always have the chance where decisions could be altered or changed up basing on the condition or situation you are facing into.It might be easy to say that we should hold but when you are on the

actual situation then this would be the toughest thing to be done.If you do trust up crypto investment specially with Bitcoin then you wont really be stressing yourself out that much.
1564  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc not moving but we need every day some moves where the moves? on: August 03, 2022, 08:35:03 PM
You need pump as you say?

Go to the exchanges and trade and you'll have no control with pumps and dumps unless you're a whale and you're integrated with the other whales too.

I know that you know that the market is volatile and you can't force it to go according to what you like. It's not just going to happen even how hard you want and how hard you tell for it to pump.
He might be get used to into those low caps or shit coins who do make out some huge pumps or jumps into its price since we do know that these are the things that could really have those kind of behavior.

If you do find out that btc movement is boring or something that doesnt excite you then go ahead with low caps and try to play with its price movement but dont regret nor cry if you do find yourself get caught

with the dump and plummeting price considering that not all or almost of those coins turns out to be dead for a particular span of time and thats why majority doesnt really touch up these things.

1565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Macau's Casino Operation Continues Despite The Latest Outbreak on: August 02, 2022, 11:47:19 PM
For a country same as Macau which do heavily rely on gambling tax revenue then it would really be just normal that they would really be making such actions.

In the first place, we shouldn't really bother if Macau will still continue its gambling operation if there's an outbreak even in the future related to Covid-19 or any forms of mutations or variants of the virus. That's not the first time they are dealing with that problem and they know more how to handle it, of course, compare to other countries as they are used to it.

Besides, it's been several years now since the pandemic, therefore people in most countries are now well-aware of how to battle it. We are already fed by lots of information regarding the virus to the point that we can consider it now as a normal disease.

Just trust Macau on their actions. They know what they are doing.

Since this thread started, I think the gambling operation is now fairly smooth there and everything might be slowly going back to normal now.

as we can put it, they know what they are doing. they've been in this business for so long, with or without pandemic. as a small region, they can easily implement necessary protocols not only to their people but the tourists coming to this place. the in and out is quite easy to contain as you only have few points to take care of. you will understand if you happen to visit macau.
If they werent that prepared then for sure it would really spread like wildfire and its true that it is really just a small place but a very progressive one due to gambling industry and thats their main tourist attraction
thats why its really hard to make out such closure since this is  where they do get big revenue and one of the biggest contribution in terms of economic progress. Pandemic doesnt only affect few countries
but in overall corners of the world and each government would really imposing protocols and steps for them to minimize as possible without affecting much their main source
in terms of taxes or revenues.
1566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Retired Uncle's Gratuity Invested on Bitcoin on: August 02, 2022, 10:44:04 PM
I asked him to invest 30% of his gratuity fund into agricultural farming business since we are in the raining season, planting of arable cash crops like vegetables could be a good business with high demands,  another 30% into starting a roadside Snack Bar, while the last advise was to make an investment with the 40% left in Bitcoin
Let me start here: don't advise anyone to go into commercial farming if their interest isn't there. Farming isn't an easy business to indulge. It may look simple to the eyes as one would think it's just putting crops in the soil and watch them grow or just buying a few birds from the hatchery and allow them roam around, feed and grow. Farming is like taking care of life. Crops and birds die the same way humans do too.

I've mixed reaction on the invest in Bitcoin thing for elderly people. I feel elderly people should learn how to relax and have a feel of life through nature. Watch birds sing. Everything isn't about making money. Old people should steer clear of Bitcoin. It's volatile and erratic. That won't be good for their frame of mind, as most of them are prone to high blood pressure disease.
Since they are old then it would be understandable that they are really having those issues with health and its true that whenever you do reach out into this particular age level then money wont really be the main

priority but rather making yourself relaxed after all the years you've been into and trying out to face up lots of challenges just to raise up your kids and make them grow and live their own lives.

Your responsibility is already done and enough and aiming for more money is somewhat pointless on this particular time. Its not bad to aim for money but it should be on that certain extreme extent.
1567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: August 02, 2022, 09:45:33 PM
There is no difference between fake money and real money. But there is a difference between a fake game or with honest results. If the streamer plays honestly, then most likely he will lose in front of his audience and there is no difference if it was fake or real money. Another thing is if the result is rigged so that he allegedly wins and thus encourages the audience to play too. This already looks like a scam.
You would really notice it but of course it would really be depending on someones eyes because most of the time we do turn out to be greedy whenever we do see someone is winning or hitting big on the time that he

plays or some streamers had been doing that which it would really be not ethical if they would rig out the results for it to make winning chance higher which is something that we should look for.

No surprising that influencers or youtubers become more rampant or many not only on gambling industry but also in other as well.So better be wary of these things
as a viewer because you dont know if those are fair sites or not.

After all, it's their job. They must be monetized. By the way, I heard that due to the end of the pandemic, which gave a big boost to steaming and streamers and the upcoming recession in the economy, their incomes are falling and will fall even more in the future. Therefore, it can be assumed that some desperate ones will go for even more murky advertising schemes.
Now that pandemic is coming into its end then expect that there would be less streamers as casual marketing would really be going back to normal and i agree on the thing you've said about those desperate ones would be touching up some areas which is something not to be that good anymore to look at or something related with those other schemes. Its true that this is their job and same goes on typical day jobs we do have,
some might be saying that we should'nt make it personal but in general sense there's something on it which doesnt really look good.
1568  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Prompt safe staking with good APY on: August 02, 2022, 08:36:33 PM
It is really much more better if you do accumulate
on your own with your own wallet and earn percentage gains or profits in a years time but of course its not guaranteed for it to happen.
But it's much safer than locking up one's assets in a third party platform all in the name of staking. Bitcoin can make gains of over 10% in a week or month if one buys it at the perfect time.

For some reason, people, especially newbies, feel “safe” when they send their assets to a centralized and custodial exchange and have the assets staked for months or years without caring about consequences in case things don't go as planned.
Because we got used to that, for example banks which give interest for our money deposited but it is less than the actual inflation rate so we are actually losing money while we deposited there for long time but as a common man they don't realize it and the same kind of thing or traditional also followed here as well when people entering into this market.

You are protected by the law when you put your money in the bank and you have insurance in case something to the bank that result to lost of your money. On the other hand staking is very risky because you are entrusting your money to a company that has no legal obligation to its investors money. Celsius is the best example here, People who stake money there will the least priority in case they totally go to there bankruptcy plan.

@logfiles suggestion has a lot of sense to be honest because it’s very safe and also profitable. APY on yield farming usually provides 20% and below which is not worthy if you suffer the same scenario on Celsius investors.
Whenever you do have plans or considerations on starting up on putting some funds or investment with staking platform or companies then you should really be thinking about the risk involved and try to make out

some research about those past or histories which do involves out bankruptcy and other issues related to this and trying out to balance if you could bare up on the risk or not.

Yes,you cant really able to ignore on how much you could really earn which is really much better compared to traditional but of course the risk is higher.
1569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your ultimate choice? on: August 01, 2022, 09:47:24 PM
Bitcoin has longevity & proven to only go up over time (with volatility in between). ETH is OK but all the other shitcoins I do not trust at all. You can not be safe in centralised coins, they can rug you at any moment. Bitcoin is decentralised, nobody can take your bitcoin from you. Countries can ban it & or mining but so what, bitcoin can not be stopped. A new block is mined every 10 minutes & there's nothing anybody can do about it. Proof of work is the best.
Had been proven out since this crypto market starts when we do talk about potential or rise up in prices. Also with ETH, it wont be standing in 2nd place in overall market if it was shit.

Never ever touch up altcoins with low caps but there are some hidden gems and truly underrated or havent been discovered yet but its up to someone on taking up the risk.

Ultimate choice? BTC for sure but if you could able to take up some risk on throwing some funds into other coins then it would really be on someones choice.
1570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: August 01, 2022, 08:39:06 PM
in this scenario the best choice is to cashout because the person would already have a profit instead of taking the risk of lose everything

Taking risk is always part of the game though. Yeah it could be profitable to cashout regarless of the result for the next game on the slip because it would have already been profit but honestly whats the point of adding X amount of games in the betslip if you are going to cash it out before the last game is played?

Pretty much should stick to only the games that you are confident on winning instead of adding random games on it then hope that it will win before you hit the cash out button
I would rather prefer on losing a bet on a game where i do enjoy on watching rather than on losing a bet on a game which i dont really have any idea.I did able to experience for how many times on doing bets
which is really out of the scope of my knowledge or we could say its completely zero.Yes, you could feel some excitement when you do win but when you lose then you cant just accept it but it would really
differ since people does have different approach and reactions when it come to this situation but in overall it would really be depending on you whether you cash out early or would
really wait up until the game finishes.
1571  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we hodling BTC or we are hodling Fiat?? on: August 01, 2022, 07:48:04 PM
Been that Bitcoin is not backed by any centralized authority, community or asset, it is therefore wise first as a currency and not as a store of value; especially for salary earners in developing countries, low income earners and those who live on wages.
Because to be profitable in BTC investment, one must be a high salary earner who invests with money that has no future need, with reasons that volatility will always be a key player as long as BTC exists.
Btc did actually started first as a currency but later on people think it's also good to use it like an asset due to its volatility and the ability for its price to grow higher the longer you hodl it. For someone that is living on a well developed country or those who earns huge, then maybe they can use their btc mainly as a currency to send and receive money but for those who are low income earners, they are finding ways on how to improve their lives and this is where they discovered btc and use it as an investment asset. Low or high salary earner, both can invest and earn a profit in btc. It only boils down on how they handle their btc investment.

Actually it had been created for the sole purpose of new payment system and its decentralization but it turns out that it does have other opportunities that it do gives despite of its actual utility which do really end up

on making it as an asset or something that been holding for several years and earn income through it but of course it wont really be giving out assurance when it comes to this but it does really have that potential.

Speaking of holding then people do always mind off about holding or accumulating fiat as much as we could which is typical but some people do think up about diversifying things and so on.
So its a personal choice on what you would gonna do.
1572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: July 31, 2022, 10:59:23 PM
I wish if I learn gambling from the responsible and senior gamblor. I envy all those who says that they earn a lot from gambling and enjoys financial freedom.
I have always been struggling with my finances, and it's never brings anything good.
Some people like to discuss about the profits they make from gambling but they do not discuss about their losses, but if some calculate both their profits and losses, they found out that they lose more than win. For people that make gambling the way they have financial freedom, do not be surprised if they go broke and poor later in life, no responsible person will think that way. I will advice you to just use the amount you can afford to lose to gamble and do not think gambling can give you financial freedom, just gamble responsibly and be mindful of not getting addicted.
Funny but this is what the reality says.  even me when I am in winning time many to pics came up to my mind based on my experience  but sometimes when I got lost I am speachless.  I am betting with a small amount in short I am a small gambler but when I realize that every day I bet then loss and based of my calculation which is sometimes I win once or twice a week but still over all in one month my lost is bigger than. My winning so I realize that I am going to bet What I can afford to loss.
When you do win then you would be having that feeling that you are a good gambler or professional
When you do lost then you would be simply be annoyed and in rage and having thoughts on quitting completely or trying up to chase losses.
When you are in break-even, then you would surely be thinking on playing even more and wanting to see some results.
1573  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This is the Good Time For Crypto Buying on: July 31, 2022, 09:20:53 PM
At the left side after you scroll down, you will see 'move topic' beside 'lock topic', move this thread to speculation, it is under economy.

Bitcoin all-time-time was $69000.

You are not wrong, bitcoin has decreased significantly, it Is good time to buy. But some people can fall for further price downturn which suppose not to be, if the price of bitcoin still fall, do not sell, it will rise again beyond the price you bought it and grow much more farther than that.

We are expecting six digits next, which means $100k or above.
It's certainly a good time to buy when we come to witness bear season because the prices are highly discounted, but also always invest with caution as shitcoins are also in high discounts. Just as bear season is a good time to buy and accumulate more, but its definitely not a good time to sell. You only have to sell your coins when the market is bullish and where coins' prices are having their ultimate all time highs. While its not happening yet, always be patient to hold your coins for long term.
Easy to say but if we are already on the bear market condition or shall we say that there's blood anywhere in the streets then we are really that hesitant on making such move or getting with these declining prices

which i would say for it to be normal because we are having those doubts or emotions that the price might plummet even more.Good time would be always into those times where prices are on the floor

but due to unpredictability of the market then this is where making decision would becomes even more harder.Buying should be lowest of the low but determine for the sweet spot is always been a challenge.
1574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather Vs McGregor: Info and prediction thread on: July 29, 2022, 05:58:15 PM
It pains me to bump this thread again...  It really does...  I read an article today though that says McGregor and Mayweather are currently in talks to do a repeat of their last fight.  Supposedly they're arguing now over what the rules would be.  Dana White recently said that he wouldn't sign off that fight, but money talks and I'm sure he says that every time he would have to go into a negotiation like that.  It sounds like a fight is making progress though, which is confusing because McGregor said that his return would be in the octagon not the square.
=====

Mayweather putting his professional record on the line? I think that is not possible, Mayweather is quite sensitive in protecting and preserving his record. Although their first encounter was added to his professional record which he retires officially after the said fight but he also said that he won't be putting his record anymore to his next bouts if he will have any.

But if it's boxing, I don't have some doubts that he can still maintain his record while also adding up to it because he have the edge compared to McGregor who is just trained to exhaust his gas and energy in mere 4 rounds so it's quite easy to say that Mayweather will still win.
Not really that possible because it wont really be considered to be official since he had retired since 2017 and there's no way that any winning or losing fights would be officially counted or would be patch up
on his professional records but for making out assumptions then it would really be considered on reflecting it out but in case if he would lost on any exhibition fight then this lost wont really be included.
I disagree. Uncle Dana has already mentioned many times that he does not want to be involved in promoting UFC fighters in boxing anymore. He certainly made money in Conor versus Floyd Mayweather, however, Conor lost the fight and this reduced the UFC's branding. Francis Ngannou wanted to fight Tyson Fury, Dana said no. Kamaru Usman wanted to box versus Canelo, Dana also said no.

Lock this thread.
Understood.  Cool

As usual, these fellas need to set up something just to fill their pockets once again on simply showing off some jabs and running and viola... Easy millions.

Just snipping out something from this article.
Mayweather has reportedly offered McGregor $157.9million (£131.5m) for the rematch and is said to be willing to put his unbeaten professional record on the line.

https://www.sportbible.com/boxing/conor-mcgregor-floyd-mayweather-rematch-20220726

For Dana, when the money involved is something that cant really be ignored then i wont really be surprised if he would be signing up.

Just the numbers though, I mean their sources tell the exact figures?

In any case though, we all know that boxing or combat sports at least is a billion dollar business. These people are going to see huge amount of money. So I wouldn't be surprised to see the rematch. As you have said, millions specially for Conor. I mean he is living a lavish lifestyle and somewhat this super athletes needed more to continue with their life situation for them and their families. Even Manny has a fight with some South Korean youtuber.
I was bit curiouse about that MP vs some youtuber and it turns out to be a charity match.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVYHMCYaSuc

Well, its neither those amounts generated would be putted up into the real cause or would be taking huge percentage out of it for some income. Cheesy (Sorry for this OT)
Overall, this is business and neither an official or exhibition then the money that could be earn would be always the main thing.
1576  Economy / Economics / Re: You don't earn money only from others, but also when you avoid spending your own on: July 27, 2022, 08:38:26 PM
I always think that saving and enjoying our hard-earned money is essential for our motivation in life so I think we should spend in moderation.  Means, we can still enjoy things that we like to do but do it moderately.  This way we both satisfy ourselves and the need to save money.   Besides doing things frequently diminishes the joy effect of that things.  Aside from that, a person must also learn proper financial management to be able to effectively save and grow his finance.
Everything should be in moderation and that would really be entirely depending on how much you do earn and this is where you do base up on how much you would gonna spend or in terms of expenses you do have in life.

You cant really just act lavishly even if you do know that your earning wont really be that sufficient on day to day needs which it would really be just dumb that you wouldnt really be having any considerations on looking
this part or key area. If you do love to live a life on where you could buy everything then you would need to work hard and smart but ofcourse it wont really be anytime in resulting to positive because
we know that this life is full of challenges. Therefore, you should be wise or smart to achieve out the plans you do have in mind.

1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic scam? on: July 26, 2022, 08:59:31 PM
The developers created Terra 2.0, and many hamsters keep dreaming that while Terra Classic has a low price, it should be bought, because it can grow in the foreseeable future. The unique thing about this situation is that the project failed miserably, bankrupting everyone it could, but people do not learn a lesson from this and keep getting into this scam in the hope of making a decent profit.
Some do make money and most likely they are the ones who would really be taking risk on putting up some funds again on that Terra 2.0 for sure and the rest would be dragged off whenever the hype is on the roof.

People never ever learn even though they had been fucked up hard in the past but still make out some considerations on making investment once again and when they experience the second time around
then this is where they do make or shout out their regrets that they shouldnt have done that but well its already too late.

Regret do always comes in the last and not on the start.
1579  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you guys think is the best crypto signals group on Telegram? on: July 26, 2022, 07:36:20 PM
As many people have said there is no good in crypto signal group or trading they will still charge you a fee to get in there that's not even a 100% guarantee of our profits but they are just giving their guesses.

But one of the good things is that you learn with a lot that is provided on the internet or in this forum so that you can improve your skills instead of relying on crypto signals, this is not good for you except learning in other ways.
Nothing beats out when you do learn up things on your own yet you arent just saving up money but also you are indeed dealing with real learn and experience which would be beneficial for you specially on long term.

Never ever consider on shelling out some money for these crypto signals which it is indeed true that they are just showcasing their guesses and speculation in to this market and nothingless.

They wont really be boggling up theirselves whenever they do make out bad decisions or signals which is really prone to that since this market is totally unpredictable. There's no way
that someone could be having high chance of profitability and trying to ask out from some subscription fee which is really already obvious i must say.

1580  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on Psychology & Sociology Perspectives. on: July 25, 2022, 11:09:23 PM
In my opinion there will always be people who are not able to control themselves and this applies not only to gambling but also to alcohol, drugs, promiscuity and even sports. Those who don't see the line between responsible attitude to their health and their money will always get into unpleasant life situations and have problems. So the sooner a person realizes that he must learn to limit his desires, the stronger his health (both physical and psychological) and financial situation will be.

When we meet a beautiful girl and invite her to a restaurant, we are well aware that we will spend the money for dinner, but it does not guarantee a continuation of a wonderful evening. I do not quite understand why many people do not want to understand the simple truth that we should also pay to play in the casino.
people are willing to spend money for their entertainment, their traditions as well as improving their skills and this is human nature

when gambling for pleasure then there is nothing wrong with that, when gambling to respect traditions that have been carried out since time immemorial then there is also nothing wrong with that, as long as you are able to control yourself (not to lose your family and yourself) then that's fine
When you check the age of those people who is ready to spend their money for entertainment you will see that those people are aged so therefore someone that is adult do not spend it money for entertainment because it have a diversity or many project that will give rise to money so any adult is thinking to build it future
Depends on the situation because not everybody would really be playing gambling for the sake of income or winnings because not all old or aged people are still thriving their best and some of them are just financially
free which they can really make out spending without having those doubts on spending money just because they had already established themselves on different investment which they could able to sustain their
gambling expenses or spending without minding themselves on getting broke thats why we shouldnt really make out some generalization on  someone who do make out spending on their gambling moments or times.
Since there are people who do have different status when it comes to finances and achievements that they had able to reach out in life.
