As long as there are still supporters of bitcoin and electricy & internet, yes, bitcoin will surely survive. tho i dont think bitcoin will be profitable to miners.

uhmm no, not yet. gold still circulates more than bitcoin. the price of bitcoin now may exceed the gold's. but bitcoin's price is unpredictable, it goes up and down. we still cant say that the bitcoin truly defeated gold if btc can still go down.

no. bitcoin will not destroy fiat. government will have to ban cryptocurreny if it will really happen, because like to control our money. tho government will likely have their own crypto, but it is not decentralized like others. saying bitcoin will be used by almost everyone, i think not, but the users will increase. moreover, bitcoin will be used by everyone that can afford to have an internet.

I think when they say criminal activities, it really means cybercrime activities. tho cybercrime were really a hit even before bitcoin, tho it surely increased when bitcoin was released because it offers a fast transaction, and it became famous in the deepweb where most of cybercrime happens.

bitcoin is both an asset and a currency. it is a currency because people use bitcoin as payment, may it be legal or not. bitcoin is used for transaction, trading. people earn from bitcoin not just by mining, thus making itself an asset. bitcoin is very flexible in terms of usage since it has a lot of potenial to offer.

not a chance bitcoin can used as a ransom. why? because how can the kidnapper know that you have that amount of bitcoin? if you'll say he hacked your wallet, why dont he just transfered your bitcoin to his wallet? he wouldn't trouble himself to kidnap someone that is special to you if he can just hack you wallet.

I can cite some reasons why. one is if another coin will rise up and exceed or offer more potential than bitcoin, two is if people stop believing in bitcoin for some unknown reason, tho i dont think people will stop believing bitcoin. three is if we go back to stone age where internet does not exist, sure it is bitcoin is dead if this will happen. but so far i dont think these reasons will not happen even after hundred years.

I think so it can end poverty but not for now will take a long time,government will be hard to convience to legalize and let bitcoin enter their property,clear defeat if government will let bitcoin because almost all of people will use bitcoins and forget about real cash
