721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you know about Bitcoin before becoming a bitcoiner? on: October 06, 2019, 03:47:54 AM
I literally have zero knowledge about bitcoin not until one of my friends told me about this, told me that he earns money in here so I got interested and read some articles watched some documentary about bitcoin and here I am now earning my living of it. One thought in my head also is that bitcoin is a scam, but I didn't stick to that mindset and I tried to be positive and thankfully it all payed off.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are we really investing in bitcoin? on: October 05, 2019, 11:50:37 PM
Me, I am investing in bitcoin because I believe that someday all of us will be using bitcoin too, that base on our current technology development we will end up not using fiats anymore and use web wallets/crypto stuff later on our generation. Plus the profitability yes its still number 1 on why we are investing in bitcoin to profit of course.
723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 things should not be too in trading on: October 05, 2019, 10:35:57 PM
Trade too much

To be real there are many traders who loves doing multiple trades and at multiple coins too, it just depends on the person if you can handle the pressure and a lot of time for those trades. Yes, it is really hard but trust me it will be easy if you love doing multiple trades and trading many times a day.
724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smile-to-pay - facial payment technology in China on: October 05, 2019, 09:45:17 PM
This is somehow the same type of payment I saw maybe in Europe I guess if I correctly remember, they are using chips implanted to their body connected to a wallet app you just need to tap your wrist to approve the payment. This is quite the same and would be beneficial for us all specially in security terms where you don't even need to memorize your pin and bring some cards you just need yourself alone.
725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There isn't always a clear reason why BTC went up or down on: October 05, 2019, 09:30:33 AM
Bitcoin is under the law of supply and demand, more demand = higher price and lower demand= lower price. The only difference why bitcoin price rise with some news is because of hype that creates demand in the market. More good news more demand higher price more bad news less demand more supply for sale so price drop would be expected.
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have a Dream... on: October 05, 2019, 07:49:21 AM
You're dream is what most of us also dream. However, if price fluctuates too much, it may not be a viable option for businesses to use as a medium of payment. They might gain or lose money if they don't adjust prices accordingly to bitcoin's price. But setting aside that negative aspect, it's good for businesses because payments don't go through a mediary and thus cut off extra fees, but if government saw this early on, they might impose restriction, altering what cryptocurrency is supposed to be, a decentralized system held by no one.
In fact, it is all our dream bro, having bitcoin and being free to spend it daily without the hassle of cashing it out first before you can enjoy some drinks, meals with your own bitcoin. I'm sure there are a lot of merchants that are accepting bitcoin now they are just not well known for sure but there will be a time that we will be able to spend our bitcoin freely from day to day to pay services we use/buy every single day of our life.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't US gov buy a trillion worth of bitcoin? on: October 05, 2019, 07:22:54 AM
That's a foolish thing to do for a government who is well developed and powerful like the US government. USD is what they are focusing on and they don't care about bitcoin at all let's say some of the officials do have bitcoin yes that's undeniable for sure there are some who are interested in bitcoin there. USD is the one who made US government powerful so why would they shift their interest in buying bitcoins?
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think Bitcoins biggest vulnerability is? on: October 05, 2019, 06:09:23 AM
Government protest against bitcoin, they see bitcoin as a big threat in the financial system issued by them so bitcoin is more likely to be attacked by the government sooner or later.
Then comes the factor of volatility because even right now people are afraid to invest in Bitcoins seeing the price chart , had it been a little straight , it would have made more people interested in it .
This is another weak spot of bitcoin this is the main reason why many new investors won't come in when they see how hard bitcoin falls after a pump and how quick it happen that they might lose millions in just seconds.
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 05, 2019, 05:51:24 AM
It can be two sides, it can be a mistake and can be a benefit. First of all, how investing in bitcoin can be a mistake? Investing in bitcoin will just be a mistake if you just go in without knowing a thing about bitcoin and you don't have any idea how investment in bitcoins works. It will be a benefit if you know what you are doing before you invest your money in it.
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exacly what is the Reason? on: October 05, 2019, 05:18:02 AM
Yeah, there has been much news about bitcoin but none of them really helped bitcoin in terms of price, look at BAKKT price even dropped after it happens last time. What bitcoin needs in order to get a bull run again is just one news, some hype and massive adoption from the community, this will create huge demand which will push bitcoins price to go up.
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Capacity to Kill Bitcoin! on: October 05, 2019, 03:31:28 AM
Podcast Topic: Wes Carlson and Omar have an informal discussion on varies topics including the following highlights:

- New people discovering Bitcoin - fear and greed
- How to not get caught up in the day to day Bitcoin price movements
- Congressman claims the US has no capacity to Kill Bitcoin!
- A world denominated in Bitcoin

Recorded: 19 July 2019

There's one way I know how government might somehow kill, or control bitcoin in such a way. If they would consider buying all available bitcoins they can manipulate its prices or even dump it. But the possibility of a country to spend their funds to bitcoin is impossible. They are assigning budget to different sectors and it needs to be precised. In order to avoid this scenario to happen, it is good for each of us to accumulate bitcoin.
But government spending money on a thing with a goal of destroying or manipulating it will be close to impossible like you said, but somehow if US decided to do that I think that might help us for a while because of the huge demand that will happen and if US government accumulated all bitcoins available in the market or lets say to be real more than half of the market, that would be a double-edged sword to them as they might lose tons of money too
732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is irreversible: strength and weakness on: October 04, 2019, 11:35:29 PM

One of the most important feature of cryptocurrency is its being irreversible.
Also, one of the deadliest features since once you got scammed/wrong sent to someone there's no way in this world that you can reverse that transaction like on Paypal. You sometimes do some uncertain transactions which will end you up losing money so bitcoin being irreversible in any means I think is negative.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Bitcoin and the games industry? on: October 04, 2019, 11:42:01 AM
Bitcoin or cryptocurrency itself has nothing to offer to the gaming industry except one thing, bitcoin can ease the player's way of paying for in-game topups and recharge. Steam already implemented this but lately got removed. This is the only thing I can see cryptocurrency, in general, can bind with the gaming industry now
734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the benefit of being Satoshi Nakamoto? on: October 04, 2019, 08:43:53 AM
There's only one benefit I can think off of why they are claiming that they are Satoshi Nakamoto. Maybe because of the locked wallet of Satoshi Nakamoto which has almost 1million bitcoin in it. Other than that I can't see why they are pushing to claim that they are Nakamoto, all that will bring to them is doom and tons of risk im sure there are many people who are hunting Nakamoto because of what he created.
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2019, 04:41:24 AM
Please avoid buying bitcoin using loans, it's risky as we don't know and we can't predict when and if bitcoin will still pump up or die, it might happen at any moment. If you have a stable job then you must continue what you are doing and buy worth of $500 monthly in that way if you lose you won't feel broke at all since it's all spare money.
736  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Can I Increase Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2019, 12:48:33 AM
Bitcoin is a type of investment so before thinking about how to increase or grow your bitcoins amount you must first have a stable that pays you fiat money in order to buy or start a trading business on bitcoin. And right when you invested money you can increase your bitcoin by doing trades and investments in the crypto world.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rant: I am thinking of Quitting my Interest in Crypto Currency on: October 03, 2019, 10:10:19 PM
Quitting is not an answer to those rants you have right there. What you all need and you lack off I think is some rest and enjoyment because you keep stressing out yourself on cryptostuffs and it really affects you because of the fact that you're in to cryptocurrency.
Try having some vacation and forget all stuffs about bitcoin for a while chill out your mind.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Doing This? on: October 03, 2019, 08:18:48 AM
I left some private keys for my younger brother and sister for them to use but I can't see any interest in them about cryptocurrency in them so I disregarded the idea of passing my cryptocurrency stuffs to them but instead entrusted them to my long-time girlfriend who is willing to learn and go into bitcoin industry. It's not mandatory for us to share such information with our family if you see them having no interest in it.
739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Quantum Computer Kill Bitcoin on: October 03, 2019, 06:29:49 AM
We know bruteforcing using a quantum computer is really a threat specialy on bitcoin because our wallets are base on private keys which are sets of numbers and letter which can be easily decrypted by a monstrous machine with very high processing capacity like quantum computers and its still developing so we can expect way faster super/quantum computer in the future and that will be a big problem if they use it in with the aim of decrypting a wallet or the network itself
740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 Years From Now on: October 03, 2019, 05:54:13 AM
