I need to do a bank transfer from the UK bank. Is it legal and will it work? Is there less charges there?
I know few person who do bank transfers to buy bitcoin in various sites, tho they are not from UK but almost same laws  and policies apply on each bank around the world and hes not having any problem buying bitcoin using banks. You should not have any trouble  buying using bank transfers.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jihan Wu and his Bitcoin OTC trading desk on: June 10, 2019, 08:58:14 AM

Shower thought. What if it was made to sell all of his and/or Bitmain's billions held in Bitcoin Cash to unsuspecting fiat whales. Cool

Well, this can be a big "IF" question. But in case this can be done then it can greatly affect the price of BCH putting the coin on spiral down...but just like bitcoin days after that event things will be back to normal. However, in the first place why would he do that?
But this IF has a high chance of happening, bitmain have been doing OTC transaction exchanging for more than a year, the price isnt affected at all.
He will do that maybe for some personal or planned reasons we just need to wait what will be his move.

785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs in Vancouver To Be Banned? on: June 10, 2019, 06:39:14 AM
I do hope regulations would be best rather than implementing a total ban.
This is the best solution to stop money laundering on cryptocurrencies but the government chose not to do this stuff I think. They cant find ways to get benefit from regulating bitcoin usage, they cant tax every transaction, would be meaningless if they push to regulate the usage of bitcoin so they chose not to and just ban the whole thing.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fans Can Bet Crypto on Twitch’s Top Streamers on: June 10, 2019, 02:20:01 AM
Like where we can bet at our streamers play? The number of kills like that? That would be interesting but the risk of lossing is big because even tho the not so proffesional ones can surpass a pro skill in some games and pros can choke at some games. The return of each bet would be big in this type of gambling for sure.
787  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BITROLLERS.COM] Provably fair slots (Blackjack, roulette, poker coming soon!) on: June 10, 2019, 02:16:46 AM
I just visit the site and it looks like the site is vulnerable to hackers.
Indeed, the site isnt ssl secured and my browser is blocking it for some reasons.Maybe op should improve the site more and asking for name is just similar as asking a username you can use whatever name you want to use,if youre registering to this of websites you should use a dummy email just for safety.
788  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Favorite Bitcoin Wallet? on: June 09, 2019, 10:24:44 PM

789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: noteworthy altcoins for investment? on: June 09, 2019, 12:25:06 PM
I think invest on bitcoin and ethereum is the best choice, i never invest on XRP and i don't believe that XRP will grow a lot even on a bull run, maybe the price with USD will grow but only if bitcoin price will grow.
But youre still earning profits in USD right?Growing your bitcoin amount and USD is both good bro.For me whenever I get profit wether on bitcoin amount or USD I always take it,profit is profit and you cant just leave it for a simple thing that you didnt profit on bitcoin value.Yeah I know it sounds dumb but for me thats what I like to do,and then repurchase the USD to BTC when it dps
790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The end game of bitcoin and gold on: June 09, 2019, 10:23:38 AM
I don`t think you understand, That is not a lot of gold by any means, It could fit in a few car parking spaces and they say that is all of the gold mined currently that would take up that much room.

When Gold price goes up +10%, that means some $3,000,000,000,000 got invested in Gold.   Smiley

AFAIK the the gold market cap is around 7 trillion USD,so if another 3 trillion got invested in gold, the price won't increase by just 10%.
3 trillion is huge ,if 3 trillion would be place laderize in each price milestone 10% price increase will be small, bigger price increase should be expected.
791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be junk/trash after ban in 2 big countries on: June 09, 2019, 08:31:54 AM
Lol ban from those 2 country will surely not affect bitcoin itself at all, bitcoin easily recovered on price when ban on china is released.Plus the fact that yes the community there is big but not big enough to take bitcoin down if they will stop on using or get banned from using bitcoin.Trust me theres more influencial country that has a huge amount of bitcoin user
792  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Fueling the Gig Economy on: June 09, 2019, 03:02:33 AM
The "gig economy" means freelancing,right?
I wonder how can people from the western world compete with all the third world freelancers with their extremely low payment rates. It's impossible to do freelancing gig for a living.
People in third world who is doing freelancing will surely cant be compared to western freelancers.Payments are so damn low but because theyre in that country they cant do a thing but to be contended and work hard in order to live.Freelancing can make your life better im telling you no matter where country you are third world or country above all.Knowledge and hardwork paysoff.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paper Wallets For Tipping on: June 09, 2019, 02:08:16 AM
What you did is actually really good. Not just for us bitcoiners and for some new people too. They will get to discover bitcoin and bitcoin itself will be spread more because im sure they will thell that story to their other co workers.Simple but good promotion.
794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption In Your Country on: June 08, 2019, 08:37:22 AM

This is for members outside of the United States of America since things going in that country are all on the news but for those countries who are usually outside the radar of the mainstream media, I would like to get updates which can be good and bad, favorable and unfavorable with bitcoin. Here in my country, we have no problem with the government as regulatory bodies are not hindering the growth of cryptocurrency and in fact we have many more exchanges already approved and they can start doing business in 2020. Reading the news in other countries, I am feeling lucky to be a resident here.

What about in your own native land...how's bitcoin adoption been going on? Is there a bright future in there or maybe is it facing a gloomy and cloudy prospect? Let's talk...
Here in my country bitcoin is very well accepted and we can spend our bitcoins freely,we can buy cellphone load recharge, gaming pins, paybills, cashout to banks and many remitance centers.Bitcoin usage here in my country is pretty good, you can spend your bitcoin on the main things you need daily.
795  Economy / Economics / Re: 🤔 being on the right side of the trend.... on: June 08, 2019, 07:37:00 AM
We should always buy on red and sell on green, but sometime sell on green can be wrong because if the price grow more after we sell then we get some profit. But always we should see how the trend is but we can't know exactly when price drop.
Nothins is wrong in sellin in green if you bought at red, profit is profit dont be greedy over it.We know cryptocurrencies are volatile,we dont know if the pump will continue or will suddenly fall to doom.Dont regret selling early as long as you have profit bear that in your mind.
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin have FUNDAMENTALS?!?! on: June 08, 2019, 07:14:35 AM

I am trying to share my research and discoveries with my fellow traders. Trading crypto is not hard when you understand how its cash flow works. How could you invest in a stock without knowing its cash flow and asset balances? I will post my personal bitcoin history tomorrow to let people know just how much I could have saved with knowledge of the price floor and speculation levels. It is a gross amount of money Sad lol

I think I am learning a thing or two with your post here. I am interested to know more on bitcoin fundamentals as it can be a good guide in investing with bitcoin. Now, looking at the current price of bitcoin, do you think it can still safe to enter the bitcoin mania or not anymore?

I don't think there's such thing of safe entry point or not. As long as you know the simple trading rule which is, buy low sell high, and you are in profit even small amount. Then, I believe you are doing good with your investments.
I agree with this.If you believe on entry point and other stuffs which only being said by those who releases "TA's" then youre not a trader.Any entry point is a risk, theres no safe or critical entry point. As long as you get profit whatever price you enter you're a good trader.
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Updated: List of Major Bitcoin Heists, Thefts, Hacks, Scams, and Losses on: June 08, 2019, 06:59:14 AM
Why are you going this?Just to spend some time and effort on a non-profit project.
If we add all the people that were scammed by the big crypto exchange platforms, the list would have been  endless.

Bro,we all have our own interest and we have curiousity.Maybe OP is having fun compiling all scams, heist and losses let him be.
Yes we know the list would be endless but atleast we will have something to look back to see what happened before, and to spread informaton across members here. This list will surely help us to be a better bitcoiner for sure since every story that OP will list im sure we will learn a lesson, specialy from the losses part.
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ,Gold and the global market collapse on: June 08, 2019, 05:37:10 AM
The stock market is doomed to face some difficult times ahead, the trade wars between the US and China is getting worse and it calls for concern that we may be on the brink of a global economic collapse. This forces many asset managers to look for alternatives asset class to spread their risks.

this is a commonly held belief among bitcoiners---that funds/investors will search for a new class of assets to invest in if the economy crashes.

but why? that's not what usually happens during economic crashes. what usually happens is "cash is king". everything crashed during the 2008 financial crisis, including gold. why would money flow into crypto this time?
We already learned what will happen if the stock market will be doomed again or f there wll be a crisis that will rise again.Bitcoin can be an option if and only if managers needs to look for alternatve assets to spread their money and invest. But most probably that thing wont happen.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: More of SoV or P2P Cash? on: June 08, 2019, 04:44:55 AM
Bitcoin is not made to be a SoV.Bitcoin is made mainly for p2p cash/trading,basically a real currency.Bitcoin can be a SoV  of one person but its risky compared to when we store our money using traditional things made to  be an SoV like gold or real estate.Bitcoin is made to be a currency.
800  Economy / Economics / Re: What’s the SINGLE most valuable benefit for you in Bitcoin and why? on: June 08, 2019, 03:44:48 AM
The one whos is really benefiting me alot is the bitcoins ability to transfer big amount of money from wallet to wallet without hassle.Im tired of days of processing of sending money which happens most of the time when using wire/bank transfers.Plus that you can send money to your friends or loveones everywhere you are,on the road, rest room and everywhere else as long as you internet connection
