I tested latest from sp_ factory with 8-pin 970 and I can confirm that there is no memory controller load anymore with lbry. That alone opens new possibilities for future development.
Bad news is that 8-pin card is so tdp limited that my tests were worth nothing.
Opensource with core@1500 and -i 25 does about 163MH, crashes with -i 26 or core@1520-1530. Hits tdpwall too.
sp_mod overclocks like beast, 1600 and way beyond but that doesn't help when power is limiting factor.
Conclusion: You need to have 8+6pin card or mod your bios. Waiting for dual miner.

I'm also curious about that: will you be switching pool at intervals? Will that include an algo change (i.e. will you have a donation pool for every algo)? Do the included .bin files in wolf's miner not work? You may try the following steps: 1) Start the miner and enter all data for your pool 2) Let the miner create the .bin file and crash with error -63 3) Look for the .bin file, remember its filename and change the filename "espw64-wolf-esp-Tahiti-64.bin" to the one the miner has created 4) Start the miner again, enter all data 5) Hopefully profit?  already done 2 months ago errror -63 error just happens via the renaming otherwise nothing happens BECAUSE THESE .BIN ARE NOT WORKING FOR WINDOWS It's that simple DO YOU HAVE .BIN WORKING FOR WINDOWS PLEASE ?! But as I don't have an AMD GPU, it would be very hard for me to track down the error. Another idea - What's happening when you start the miner and let it create a .bin file? Did you also copy the folder "kernel" to the miner? And on the "Algorithm" question you have to enter hmq1725. Let me know if this works. I know I'm asking for a lot, but can you maybe optimize the miner for nvidia cards? Because as of right now, I'm getting 150KH/s with my GTX780 Ti. Burning so much electricity. If you can do that for win, I'll give your pool some hashes too. It is a windows build... ccminer private 5 spread miner. There was a time when I was getting around 80 blocks a day, but when the optimised miner came out or was made public, I switched to just buying up what was being mined by others. If he gets the windows build optimised, I'll turn on the small farm again. Me too:-) OC see if you can get a pull request from sp from his ccminer private 5 for Spread coin and or he can build it for your pool... better hashrate. |
