1582  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for an investor (Possibly a loan) Business opportunity on Bitcointalk on: December 23, 2014, 03:33:35 PM
I don't understand , do you want a loan ? Where is the collateral ? I think it will be difficult for you  receive a loan without a valid collateral, however  good luck.

It is more of an investment for now. I need 1.5-2BTC to start the service here on bitcointalk. The funds will go towards a few suppliers and i would be all set to release the service. So to fund the last bit im looking for someone who would like to either "Partner up" for a cut of the profit or someone who would like to give me the loan - Payout would be most likely in January second week. (It may be delayed for a week, depending on if i can launch the service on time)
As for collateral, i have very little crypto left. I have some marketing tools, services but i would need most of them to keep everything in operation.
1583  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does the nature of time have an effect on the outcome of a roll?(example inside) on: December 23, 2014, 03:04:57 PM
Let's suppose I have 1 bitcoin and a time machine.  At exactly 1:00pm today, I place a single 1 btc bet on my favorite dice rolling site.

Now I hop into my time machine and go back to 1:00pm, but this time, instead of placing the 1 btc bet at exactly 1:00pm, I wait a few seconds and then bet.  Will the result be the same, or since some time has elapsed, will I get a different roll outcome?  If you want to use a more extreme example, let's suppose I wait 10 hours after 1:00pm before placing the roll.

Is this question even definitively answerable or am I in the same territory as asking whether a god or gods exist?
you would get different result because the roll would be made already, that would be second roll when you come back with time machine

No. That would mean someone else is playing also, on the same seed with the same secrets as the OP.
He might be playing alone for all we know, but it really doesnt matter as it would not change anything. Given all the verification parts, the result is the same (if time is not included). It does not change.

What we do find from this post tho, is that most people answering have no idea about how the provably fair system works.
1584  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does the nature of time have an effect on the outcome of a roll?(example inside) on: December 23, 2014, 03:00:54 PM
On sites using the standard "Provably Fair" system there will be no difference when the roll is made.

On sites like Luckyb.it (and a few dice sites used to have it also) they use Time as a factor in determining the roll. In this case, yes the time matters.

So to make it simple. If the result generation process involves time then yes it would make a difference.
1585  Economy / Gambling / Re: Luckyb.it made a bet and down! on: December 23, 2014, 01:40:32 PM
Does everyone really need to come here and tell the exact same thing over and over again? I can understand a few times but this is getting stupid. Is #Postcount really that important ?

As mentioned before. Wrong section + again this dice script. When will you people ever learn.
1587  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for an investor (Possibly a loan) Business opportunity on Bitcointalk on: December 22, 2014, 11:29:05 PM
Might be good if you explain the service.

Bitcointalk is already its own platform, so what will you be doing/offering?

I thought i did but i do agree the thread is rather lengthy.
In short i will start offering a marketing service that involves PPC, PPV, Mailing and social marketing for the customer. The customer can choose a specific one or a combination of many. Im still thinking of either making plans, or doing it based on the project. But most likely both.

Why am i offering something like this:
a) Many sites, services, coins etc do not market themselves. They hope keeping an active thread here and doing some tweets will do. If you don't plan on going big it will work. If you do plan on going big, you need to reach out to wider sources.
b) I can offer most of the services at lower rates. Cheaper than doing it yourself (ppc, ppv, mail)
c) Quite a few services don't have the time to deal with marketing or lack the knowledge on how to bring in the traffic and this is where i will try to help.

1588  Bitcoin / Project Development / Looking for an investor (Possibly a loan) Business opportunity on Bitcointalk on: December 22, 2014, 10:44:23 PM
First of all I do not know if it is the right section for the request/opportunity but ill post it here anyway.

I have been planing to open an advertising service here on Bitcointalk for a while now but never really had the time. So now that i have the time i find myself low on funds to get the ball rolling so this is where i turn to the community, services and possible loaners.

A quick word about myself: I have done internet marketing for many years, CPA, Affiliate marketing, Product marketing, Service marketing. Lately it has been going slow for me. I was ill for a while and it toke the motivation and finances i had.
I joined the Crypto-world in around May this year, i have been exploring the coins, getting used to the whole scene: Casinos, Dice sites, Altcoins, Currency Exchanges and various services.

The main issue i found: There not enough new blood! Its mostly the same people. We really need new users.

I have been exploring the market, running some silent tests, doing smaller scale promos and getting myself ready for the next step.

I am planing to launch a marketing service here on bitcointalk, if it goes according to plan, i might expand to other Crypto forums also.

About the service: I have contacts and ways of getting cheaper marketing than usual. This goes for all venues, PPC, PPV, Emails and so on. The traffic will come from Google, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit

I will say again, i would like it to be mostly about bringing in new users to Cryptos but it will work for the people using them also.
Who could use the service?

*Gambling - To get new players and New Investors. The service can get you referrals, so you do not need to be the owner to use the service. You can use it to get new referrals. Theres so many people willing to invest but the reality is they haven't thought of crypto-investing yet. Im sure there's plenty of people willing to invest in a trusted gambling site, rather than have their money sit in hyips or banks.
*Altcoins - Want to be known as the most known altcoin ? Need more publicity, new investors, want to create buzz about "The Nex Big Thing" This service allows you to do just that.
*Exchanges - Want to become the big exchange? Get new users to trade on your platform ? You can benefit from the service
*All others: You have a Game, Project, Forum or what ever planned. I can help you get traffic.

Best part is that you can pay for the service with Cryptos (most likely altcoins also)

There will be several packages available depending on what the user needs. Im also thinking of adding Facebook management service, Twitter, Reddit management and the whole social media aspect.

I really feel there is a need for a service like this on the forums. There's so many casinos, exchanges, services, Altcoins all looking for some traffic and exposure to a larger crowd.

I believe 2015 will be a big year. So lets make the most of it!

The service will launch in January.

This is where the Loan/Investment comes in.
I have done the research needed, i have the contacts, but i am lacking funds to get this off the ground.

Investing
If you find that you are interested in investing in this venture, please contact me via PM. We can discuss the terms the amount and if needed where it is spent. I wont add a number here as its rather liquid, meaning a smaller amount could do the trick but a larger investment opens more possibilities. We can settle on a % of profit (in this case i would rather have one investor but if needed i can have a few investors) or we can do the amount invested+%. Investing is obviously a risk but i am certain this will gain traction and the profit will be there for the investor. If for some reason the service does not get accepted here by the users, there's a backup plan which involves using the invested funds to do marketing in other venues, and profits will still go back to the investor.

I would rather not have it come to a loan but if need be i will ask for a loan. If i do not find an investor in a few days, ill add in a Loan request.

P.S Before the "Hate-Train" comes in. I believe cryptos are the way forward and i am here to stay. While i might not be the longest member, Im sure some of you know me as a honest person. I have helped several gambling sites and exchanges with problems.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here or via PM.

Sites pretty nice i must say.
The betting is really fast, faucet is nice, design is simple but nice.

But please fix the "Roll" button. I do not know if it is intentional or a coding error but when you click on the same horisontal line as the "Bet" button you start the bet, it doesnt matter if you hit the button or not.

Right now you are saying you bought "something" and it worked and now "IT" doesn't work and the wallet doesn't work anymore.

If you really expect an answer you would need to go into detail what exactly are you running or at least give a reference link.
1600  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice.com automated betting ISSUE/ERROR (WARNING) on: December 15, 2014, 09:15:06 AM
The autobetting on Primedice has been flawed since the start this is a known fact.
Started with not stopping on loss when it was set, rolling 5-7 times after the bot had been stopped, now the issue you pointed out.

The autobet on PD is flawed it is as simple as that. Is it caused by lag or too many users, maybe but the fact still remains, the autobet has issues.

Duplicate the result and I will heavily reward you, I'm 100% confident in auto-bet. There's seemingly no way that a 0.05 input would place a 0.5 bet unless the user accidentally put in that amount. We have a large sample size of 20M rolls per day, majority from auto-bet which have been completely issue free. If what OP is claiming is true it means that there is a massive fundamental flaw in our bet logic.

I will give it a shot and see if i can replicate the issues.
P.S I have sent support emails about it and so have others that i know from PD. Not lately tho as i havent had much time to play.
