1581  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: December 12, 2013, 10:29:24 AM
I probably bought from them before "rush hours" (in early November) so your experience might differ, but I had no trouble contacting Black Arrow (to cancel a mistaken order and direct the funds which I had already dispatched to them towards another order with my name on it). I wasn't asked for any additional documents since I paid from my own account and ordered in my own name. The whole process took 4 days, but this included weekend.

(The need to cancel one order and use the funds towards another order resulted from my mistake. Unfortunately it demonstrates that even customers who generally do read the fine print occasionally make mistakes, and with running a shop comes the burden of having to support them. I realize it's difficult for a "mostly engineering" shop to support a lot of customers - especially customers who speak many different languages. I thus try to not bother them with excess curiosity.)

Like others, I chose to pay by BTC this was 2 weeks ago. But they never replied with the BTC address. How are we suppose to be support them, when they choose to ignore the custumers?

I ordered on the 10th Dec and got a reply on 11th with the BTC add.
Maybe the email went to your spam folder?

Why is your company's only employee on linked in an IT specialist...?  How does one engineer ASICs with IT specialists...

link please?
this company sounds fishy.

1584  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling a 100,000khs ~185 GPU Farm near Los Angeles SERIOUS OFFERS ONLY on: December 12, 2013, 10:03:19 AM
I have a mining farm near Los Angeles. Need to move out of the country soon.

It pushes around 100mhs with a mixture of 7950 cards. All parts under warranty with matching invoices and receipts. With overclocking and tuning you should be able to get 120mhs. I just don't have the time to do all that to individual cards right now.

Here are the parts I have:

85 MSI Twin Frozr 7950 undervolted 2.2 year warranty left
18 Vapor-X Sapphire 7950 undervolted 2.2 year warranty left
70 Gigabyte Windforce 7950 all undervolted 2.2 year warranty left
10 mixture of 6950, 6970s, 7850,
50 Motherboards
40 Max Revo 1500watt PSU 4.5 year warranty left
10 other brand psus

You will have to take over my $800 per month lease. has around 14 months left.

PM for more details.

Electricity is around 0.075 cents a KwH in winter. Average around $3,000 a month 9 months of the year for non-summer rates.

Also, installed a system where you can remotely hard reset rigs. Remote video surveillance and GSM wireless alarm system will be included. Two redundant internet connections costs about $50 a month

PM me.

Thanks!

I want to buy your rigs and parts.
Have them shipped to Malaysia as I have a big DC here.
PM me the total BTC.

Anyone have any idea how I can get the $AUD out of Weexchange? I accept that my 0.5 BTC is stuck and may be lost, but if 'ukyo' wants to make things right, at least make it possible for me to withdraw the remaining $AUD in my account.

Ripple withdrawals are disabled, and it says my bank account is not 'verified' - with no instructions how to verify (funny how it was verified enough to transfer money into weex), and even if there was I would be very hesitant to send them any more personal information.

Has anyone managed to withdraw $$ since this mess started?

nada. my BTC is still stuck in there. darn.

I have 6000$ (in sxc) disappeared after a sell order... I've opened a ticket but they haven't answered yet after 8 hours Angry

what's your ticket number?
looks like Cryptsy is having some big problems with customer support.
1588  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: December 11, 2013, 01:07:39 PM
Apologies for the slight delay in getting this information out.

Jon (Ukyo) is now here with me in Cyprus to ensure this problem is resolved for everyone involved.

The bitcoins are simply not there anymore, we are continuing to work through the implementation of a number of solutions to correct the issue. We are hoping to have one of many very important announcements before the Christmas holidays that will enable the bitcoins to be returned to those that are owed, however the run up to the holiday period may cause delays in some aspects.

The solution will take time to pay everyone in full however, there will be no preferential payments and the payments will be distributed proportionally.

A full explanation as to why the bitcoins are no longer there, will be provided as soon as we possibly can.

Neo & Bee has no exposure to the liabilities of WeExchange. The solution will enable Neo & Bee and all of those involved in Bitcoin to benefit greatly in the future.

"The bitcoins are simply not there anymore" -
is not a good excuse and some people are getting VERY angry over this.
Please solve the issues before 1 JAN 2014. I also have some coins in WEX and I need them pronto.

Got the antminer s1 from ninjaboon. Reliable and cool guy. Thanks for handling the shipping in this part of the world.

Sagiko, Glad your Antminer is hashing away at 180G.
Though Bitmain did not pass the UPS tracking number to us.

I paid ninjaboon 4.5 BTC for an Antminer S1.  He handled ordering the miner from Bitmain, who shipped the miner directly to me.

Was responsive and professional.

Bogart, glad your Antminer is hashing away at 180G. Bitcoin price to the moon!

It's not often i get lucky, or will vouch for someone but tonight i was searching Craigslist for a used PC wipe clean and use for an offline wallet when i found this post on CL ( http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/ele/4236730637.html ) being the skeptic that i am i pretty much wrote it off as a scam, but when i mailed him he said we could meet at his place or at the Police Department to make the exchange if it would make me more comfortable. He was only 20 minutes from where i lived so i figured i would take the drive, and to my utter shock when i finally found his house the ad was real and i snagged all 5 of his BFL Jalapenos for $250.

Not quite sure what this guy's deal is, but (although i am not an expert ) I swear he had about a million dollars worth of Terraminer IV's set up in this big room like it was a data center. I didnt even think that they were available until march.

Anyways, he has a lot of good stuff left and i laid eyes on it all myself to verify its legit. He said he would ship within the U.S. if any of you are interested. just figured i would share the good find. It's about time i had some good luck.

and I thought CL was Coinlenders. darn

1599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gridseed GC3355 -Hybrid Scrypt/SHA256 ASIC on: December 10, 2013, 08:44:27 AM
Any one know more about this chip?

specs are here

https://github.com/gridseed/gc3355-doc/blob/master/GC3355_DataSheet.pdf

And holy shit, it claims to do 59.6 KH/s while using 0.44 W

This is 0.00738 W/KH/s versus 0.300 W/KH/s for a GPU -- a 40.7 fold increase in efficiency.  This is about the same increase in efficiency as compared to BTC when ASICMINER first introduced its chips; I'm curious to see how they did it.

electricity efficiency is awesome. put me in for 10 units.
the domain is still not ready.
