I probably bought from them before "rush hours" (in early November) so your experience might differ, but I had no trouble contacting Black Arrow (to cancel a mistaken order and direct the funds which I had already dispatched to them towards another order with my name on it). I wasn't asked for any additional documents since I paid from my own account and ordered in my own name. The whole process took 4 days, but this included weekend.

(The need to cancel one order and use the funds towards another order resulted from my mistake. Unfortunately it demonstrates that even customers who generally do read the fine print occasionally make mistakes, and with running a shop comes the burden of having to support them. I realize it's difficult for a "mostly engineering" shop to support a lot of customers - especially customers who speak many different languages. I thus try to not bother them with excess curiosity.)

Like others, I chose to pay by BTC this was 2 weeks ago. But they never replied with the BTC address. How are we suppose to be support them, when they choose to ignore the custumers?

Bought a x3 early Dec before the price hike. Wait 3 days for the payment address, nothing happen. Open a  ticket and got reply immediately with BTC address. Transfer the BTC, took another 3 days and a ticket before my order status changed to "Processed".

Moral of the story? Open a ticket Cheesy

have opened tickets twice and no replies, maybe have to open yet another.
Again, no wonder they have so many tickets and can't keep up.
I suppose have to open a ticket a day to keep on top of the list for them to notice  Huh

BTW, I can't see what's the difficulty in hiring support.  Again this is BS from BAS.

I opened tickets too for an order to no avail.

However, I logged into my support account and checked that box for "closed tickets", there down at the bottom was my closed order ticket with a single reply with the BTC address.

However, the value of BTC was much lower when I ordered and they wont re-issue the amount needed to pay the invoice.

What is your order number? From the order list thread (here), the 27xxth order was paid 2 days ago; perhaps the difference will show you how long your order might be processed.

this is my point, I have 2 orders placed on 24/11/13 (order#15xx) and 25/11/13 (order#16xx) both which I had originally chose BTC payment. By the time I received BTC payment address then trying to buy BTC it was going to cost me close to $8500 to buy enough BTC to pay for $4899 USD invoice.  Now I've decided to change to wire payment and 15 day order expiry time has passed.  I've been trying to get reply from BAS from about the 2nd of Dec.

I hope they can resolve the payment method change and I can keep my original discounted price.  That's all.

Am I asking too much?

I just ordered 10 x1's yesterday at 3:30pm Eastern Time Canada

I got the confirmation email.

I replied to it (going to sales) thanking them for their time, requesting the bitcoin address for payment, I also asked them if it were possible to pay in litecoins since they do business with btc-e.
The sales team opened a ticket for me, as I got an email notification of an opened ticket.

I got the bitcoin address and instructions at around 6:15pm
Unfortunately for me, they didn't answer me regarding the litecoin question, but that's ok with me.
Did the exchange and sent them the requested amount.

Got an email at 5:13am today, saying my order has been processed successfully.

So far, I can't complain. I just hope I get my toys before my birthday in April Cheesy

so is my understanding correct that 10 x1s is the same as ONE X-3 ?

the prospero x1 shows minimum of 10 and the x-3 shows that you get 2 modules that are 10 each.

am I missing something?  why is the price so much different for the same hashing power ?

Nope, you would need 20 X1's to get the same hashrate as an X3 (as per specs)

X1 - 100MH/s
X3 - 2TH/s

I just wanna see some proof that the X-3 has gone from a pure concept picture on their site to something physical. Also the fact their Skype never added me as well as no email responses either means they are swamped or uncaring(as no business can succeed with a great product but no support). Their prices are very affordable compared to KNC and others as well as a supposed shipping date that beats out the competition, but I fear it is a bluff to drive in early preorders :/ ... I want to buy with them but I want support and proof they are not bluffing, show us some pictures to confirm the X-3 is making solid progress.

My new minersource.net site is live! No more manual BTC processing, the site now generates the payment address and verify payment automatically.
All previous orders on the old site ARE NOT LOST. I will be migrating the database slowly of the next few days.

Maybe the email went to your spam folder?

It always was. Also HKD.  Look at Transferwise, as explained a couple of pages back.

The first orders are expected to be shipped at the end of February 2014.

---

At today’s Bitcoin price and network hashing rate, X-1 would return $682 in 15 days and X-3 would return $13845 in 15 days (1).

---

(1) As Bitcoin network is currently growing, we expect that the actual revenue by the time of shipment to be lower than this.

Yes. Very Very Very much lower than this. You're going to be delivering end of Feb (the target). By the time that date rolls around, your top of the line machine will be barely making $200-300 a month. Pitiful. 6 months away is just wayyyyy too far off.

And my post will probably be deleted but yeah, hopefully a few people may be able to see my message before it becomes so.

Sorry to disappoint you, we are only deleting off-topic posts.

Our view is that Bitcoin Mining is going to live more than the next 6 months.

Our promise to our customers is that we'll deliver the most efficient chip and will practice a minimal profit.

At the time of the actual shipment we'll make sure that we sell our chip at the market price or lower. All pre-orders will benefit of the same discount by the time that we start shipping. No longer you'll pre-order a hardware today just to discover 3 days later that others can pre-order it at 1/3 of the price you've paid.

would you be willing to sell us the chips and the board design with software?

chips I can buy directly from you and boards I have a source to product them but will need the sig files

Ha, you should have taught BA on how to do that when you were there.
I am in the boat where I might have to abandon my 2nd X3.
At this point I would be paying +$2k more for it.., due to BA's inability to respond in timely manner (11 days now) and now unfavorable exchange rate and inability of them to correct my pricing where they gave me December pricing on a November purchase.
