161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: June 30, 2017, 03:23:08 AM
I was wondering why many other tokens are added to BittRex in a day, so why is not SONM still being added?
Because they told the exchange not to list them till the token distribution is finished.

why the distribution is not finished yet?
There were issues.  Honestly they should only allowed ETH for ICO.

Nr. 1

SONM Official Announcement
Applications for pre-ICO investment refund are not accepted from today.
The process of sending refunds to pre-ICO participants has begun and will end in the nearest time.

Will this make price to go lower or higher ?
I hope investors won't start selling it out in panic...
I'll say higher.  Investors should know that once this completed it will get closer to being listed on Bittrex, which is what everyone is waiting for.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DAO.Casino ICO live in 2 hrs. Who's taking part? on: June 29, 2017, 06:03:25 PM
No it doesn't mean they will never be listed.
They just don't want to guarantee that exchanges will list them.
The exchanges themselves have to agree to list them.
So like edgeless, gamecredits and others we should see them on liqui/bittrex at least and hopefully polo soon.
They just don't want to promise something they can't control.
They should just say we will try work with various Exchange to get it listed but it is up the sole discretion of the Exchange to list us.  They are making it seem like they aren't even going to try.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DAO.Casino - Blockchain Protocol for the Gambling Industry on: June 29, 2017, 05:10:06 PM
I am little baffled by the below answer on their FAQ section .. Does it mean the BET tokens would not ever get listed on any  exchange ? If so, what is the incentive for investors to buy their tokens ?

I am confident that the tokens if listed on the exchange would definitely go over the ICO price (roughly $0.15 assuming they do $25m) , but if they are not even listing on any exchanges sooner, then i am not feeling great why I should invest on them now ..

Can someone please explain about this ?

>>>>>Would BET be listed on exchanges, if yes which ones ?
BET is a functional token that is intended to circulate within DAO.Casino reward system and to be used as an ingame currency in the games integrated with the system. Whether BET will be listed on exchanges depends on exchanges themselves. Most token exchanges have a token request form and you can ask whether your token exchange platform of choice is planning to list a particular token.
Pretty sure that means it is up to the users themselves to request this and they will not pursuit it themselves.

But this also means Exchange like Bittrex isn't likely since they will need to pass certain legal requirements before being listed.  Hopefully I'm wrong for the investors' sake.  I still want whoever invested to make money out of this.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OAX] openANX - Real World Application of Decentralized Exchanges on: June 29, 2017, 05:07:29 PM
i'm pretty sure a lot of people won't be happy about the idea tu submit document/passport bill etc.... just to activate a token.
I hope final choose will be different : maybe submit document when you wants to use the tokens on openANX.
Wish I read the fine prints earlier or else I would not have gone in otherwise.  Angry
I am pretty sure that the KYC applies only to the people that invested $5,000 or more. If you didn’t invests that much money into openANX then you should be fine.

Don't worry before the time, dz4505.

Fingerprints, thermal hand vein pattern, iris recognition and retina scanning. This the future, Sampey!
Someday we will need to travel to ICO's headquarters to get our Tokens. As a really existent totally verified physical persons. Smiley
Nah, I am sure that the people investing money into a project wouldn’t want to travel across the world just so they can cash out a few dollars lol.
If arbitrary limit it is $5,000 then they should have let us know so we could stay under that limit.  I just calculated mines and I am 26 dollars over.  WTF LOL.   Angry

There is such info in the Bounty ANN:
"Any reward exceeding value of USD$5,000 (6666 OAX) must perform KYC to receive reward. We will contact you if such a situation arises"
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1947373.0

I hope everything will be alright for you, dz4505. Let's wait for the new announcement on the KYC theme.
LOL I literally went over.  6,701.52.  Wonder can they just refund me 1 eth.  Well this is an awkward position to be in haha.  They need to make that bigger and have an additional confirmation on their website letting them know about KYC.

168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: holy shit! EOS hardcore scam - renamed BitShares - You will NOT like this?! on: June 29, 2017, 04:48:06 PM
The only SCAM here is the original poster who didn't bother to actually perform a DIFF on the codebase.

Even a cursory examination of the code will show you there is VERY LITTLE left of the original bitshares code.

Yes the file names and directory structure is similar, that is because the design pattern is similar.
Should have just hardfork BitShare rofl.

$10M in 2 hours.

I guess ICO will be over soon.

If you don't count that the token sales slowed to a crawl.  They should have stuck with the 15 mil cap.  Doubt that will hit now lol.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: June 29, 2017, 02:43:04 PM
The SONM was a hot project in this forum and more than three hundreds users joined in the signature campaign. However, the price in the Liqiu dropped a lot, seems to be the price of the ICO. That's strange and what is the reason?
Because Liqui.io is still considered a small exchange that trades ~100-200 BTC worth of SONM, which is relatively small compared with the volume Bittrex can support.

Remember that is ~100-200 BTC worth vs the $35 mil tokens out there...

So unless they get it on Bittrex the price will continue to drop due to overwhelming supply and little demand on a few small exchanges.

I am so confused about KYC.  As far as I can tell we already have the tokens, but its not activated.

So we will need to submit an ID to get it activated?  Huh
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DAO.Casino - Blockchain Protocol for the Gambling Industry on: June 29, 2017, 01:46:26 PM
That last minute cash grab must have put off many people.  Now they can barely even raise the 15 mil.  Grin
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] SONM - Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining (GRIB technology) on: June 29, 2017, 04:53:35 AM
With Eth down from ICO days and SNM price at the floor, it could be a good price, but who knows, considering that until now this is one of the worst large ICOs - hopefully the team will launch something soon and exchanges will follow
The way they handled the ICO doesn't exactly instill confidence.  Been 2 god damn weeks and they still haven't distribute the tokens so we can get on Bittrex.

You might want to take a look at this.  Your project is marked as Scam Alert.

Also why do you use gmail instead of email with your domain name?  Looks very amateurish.
178  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BetOpen not processing withdrawal 1.800 Bitcoin on: June 29, 2017, 04:15:53 AM
Make sure you go to their ANN and reference this thread.  Only way you can make them pay is by hurting their bottom line.

I feel bad for their investors.  Undecided

Also post it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1970271.80;topicseen

I am so sure the other one got filled up with scam accusations so they decided to open a new one.  So shady.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: June 29, 2017, 03:00:13 AM
It's pretty obvious bids and asks in Liqui are being manipulated, I always see a bunch of 40 tokens orders, it is just a big waste of time, and the pattern of price movement is getting predictable.

My concern is whether when it hits Bittrex the whales playing around in Liqui will keep the price slightly lower to dump all the scalping they have being doing so far, they have volume for that.
They can just buy all the low priced snm tokens from liqui.io and transfer it to Bittrex that will be higher and sell.  Eventually the price gap between the 2 will close.

This is arbitrage.

Well, never saw this reversed arbitrage, to higher the price, but im new to this crazy crypto world. I just can't see how this massive offer of tokens can sustain a higher price. Granted, if pre-ico already made their profit with lower-than-ico sales, we are left to the bounty, which are far less in numbers, but still some million of tokens.
This is not reverse arbitrage.  This is arbitrage and how people make money off it.
