61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: COINDASH - Future of trading - Token Sale 17th July 2017 on: July 17, 2017, 05:32:37 PM
That is huge amount $ 7 millions were stolen from the ICO money through that hacking. Team has secured only $ 6.5 millions. It is big big loss but team's statement on official site is very encouraging as they will keep the project up with remained money in hands. Everyone will get paid this is highest example of professionalism.

NO, because doing this they will damage all!

They should use their 6.5 million to refund the 7 million stolen.

Unfortunately it seems there's no good solution for all here. The people who sent to right address will have to compensate the ones who didn't is basically what the team is saying. Don't know, maybe it's better to just give ETH back, but than there are no tokens for the people who got scam address.  Undecided

No that's not right! The people who sent to the right address should be refunded instantly due to the fact that the team have their ETH available right now! That ETH should be given back to their rightful owners. Those who sent to the fake address will be compensated with CDT tokens.

What an absolute shit show this has become.

Your solution makes no sense.  If CoinDash refunds ETH to the Whitelist, they will have no funds to actually create the product rendering CDT absolutely worthless instead of just largely reduced in value (as it is currently).  Your solution also implies that those who sent to the incorrect address on the OFFICIAL website are at fault and should just be screwed over.  This would make the CoinDash team look even worse by giving their friends and angel investors (whitelist people) full refunds and quitting on the general public who invested.  Not smart.
Project is DOA.  Who the fuck is going to trust these clowns with financial information.

Refund the whitelisted folks so at least some of us make it out of this shitstorm.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: COINDASH - Future of trading - Token Sale 17th July 2017 on: July 17, 2017, 05:30:35 PM
I can't believe they have not offered a refund to people who have sent to the whitelisted address it's ridiculous the eth they raised through that address was under 250 what can they possibly do with that eth that will help the project it is a tiny amount of money in the grand scheme of things but yet they won't refund. I bet Taas fund will get a refund for their 500 eth.

They could easily set up a smart contract where people send back their CDT and get their eth equivalent in return that would be fair.
I doubt they will or can.  They can't make this project happen without the remaining 6.5 mil. The people who got robbed will be left with a project without funds.

Really shitty situation they could have been avoided if....YOU FUCKEN RETARDS JUST LISTENED TO CINTRIX.  Instead the retarded admin flamed him after he pointed out NUMEROUS FUCKEN THINGS WRONG.

Don't release junk because first impression matter too much, if you don't want FUD, don't release buggy, junk.
This is true.  Last thing you want to do is release a halfass product.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 |ANN| MYSTERIUM NETWORK - Decentralized VPN built on blockchain |MYST| on: July 14, 2017, 07:30:50 PM

Your article is like "security for 12 year olds", the entire VPN business is a scam...
Allowing a 3rd party to install a keylogger and keep 100% of your traffic forever is "fake security".

https://gist.github.com/joepie91/5a9909939e6ce7d09e29

There is NO WAY for you to verify anything that a VPN service claims to do.

That's why MYST behavior is so troubling... it's a 100% trust-based business...
So you want the Devs to be known, highly qualified and dead serious...
Unlike, say, the complete idiots behind VPNcoin who are basically some random Chinese gamblers.

I still have yet to hear them address the most glaring issue - with any VPN, when a user surf say child pornography, the VPN has logs of up to 6 months (most do anyway) has to give up the IPUser's name who did this.  In this case, does the FBI bust down the door of the Mysterium VPN provider who is doing for coin?

How are the Mysterium VPN providers protected in this case?  Or will this end up existing VPN providers will join due to the nature of the business - in this case getting in legal trouble due to shady VPN users.

found the video. Interesting enough the price has fallen even faster since they released this video.
Entire market is in bear mode.  So not SONM fault per say.  Only blame them for the lack of Bittrex due to ICO distribution, which is STILL not resolved.  It's getting hilarious at this point.  If you can even distribute tokens properly, forget building a super computer.

68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | Bounties on: July 14, 2017, 01:18:37 PM
What will happen, when we miss the timewindow to withdraw WAGERR from the dashboard, when full net launches? Will those coins be lost?

There will be ample time to withdraw Wagerr from Wagerr.com once the mainnet launches. As long as you check the email inbox associated with your wagerr.com you should be good.

For latest news and announcements please join our slack via. slack.wagerr.com (please note as this is a public slack, it is vulnerable to phishing attacks, please be mindful of attackers sending you direct messages which are relayed to you via slack to your email account) . Do not click any suspicious links.

Is waves the only platform or can we withdraw elsewhere in future?

https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/wagerr/#markets  now only at Waves dex and Tidex. I wish other exchanges come as soon as possible.

This is very hight volume for tidex! I don't like tidex at all, I hope it Wager will be listed on Liqui soon, this is much better exchange!
Here's hoping for Bittrex.  Liqui.io is small, but better than Waves/Tidex combined.

Some say it's overpriced?

Share your thoughts.
I was always suspicious of that coin, the project does not need a blockchain, for a service that is only renting space or something, maybe you can get some earnings since it is stated the price for the coin was low, but to be honest I don’t see how this coin could become a coin with more than a billion dollars in market cap, maybe I’m wrong but that is what I think
I don't think you are wrong.  It is putting real estate with no added benefit imo.  Its like for the sake of throwing it on the blockchain because it is there, similar to Guppy/Matchpool.  But hey the ico money was still hot when they did it.

Both will fail.

There has been way too many similar scams like this in slack lately.  I have been avoiding to click on any links that was not posted by a team member of the project.

Make sure everyone is adding 2FS authentication, one more layer of security in all exchanges.
Waves does not have 2FA so leave it on website which has it for now until they release that feature.

According to the up-to-date analysis on the collective market trend, crypto bubble is now many steps closer following the coming-up stock markets doom and global economic crisis.

Congratulations to the newbies and smart crypto investors! The first light of the new dawn is already here. Very soon the table will turn around and a whole new game will be started all over.

Let the foolish sacrifice. The new world shall belong to us.

 Wink

Or must I say that the crypto bubble is actually popping? If people can comprehend that no economic doom has ever completely happened within a single day, but a prolonged period of unnoticed time instead. Will a hunter alert his prey before triggering his shot?

There is no doubt that many of the Altcoins are overvalue right now and correction is part of the market mechanism, if the burst has started , I believemost would have lost most of their value roght now, Bitcoin is just 44% of the market when compared to 80% it was like 3 months ago. Remember VCs are entering into the space and are in for medium term at least

I dont think that alts are overvalued, in my opinion still undervalued. Many Many new Users coming every day.

Valuation is relative and most of the value of these tokens come from speculation. I think the ALtcoin market is over valued, how many of these tokens actually has a working platform talkless of generating revenue. Most of these projects will soon go under soon because they won't be able to generate revenue to support their working capital and you will be surprise to see the burn rate of these projects, very ridiculous
I believe this as well.  That the market will weed out a lot of the recent ICO coins and other shitcoins that are already on the market as coin start to resemble more like stocks.  Lets see how far this correction goes.

2-3 years ago the landscape of coins look very different from the coins now as many disappeared.  Don't see it any different this time around.  Hopefully I hold one of the winners of course Smiley.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | Bounties on: July 10, 2017, 04:01:17 PM
Would be very interesting to see what will happen when Bittrex will add it. I assume POLO will add Wagerr because it is unique. Expect 100x - 1000x in Price in couple of months. Smiley

You really expect it to go that high? i mean 1000x is 1000x

In short run I think it is not possible but in the long run by the help of burning coins issue may help increasing value of Wagerr. Also It has really unique  specifications. I hope big exchanges realised this coin's potential as soon as possible.

Yeah a year or so will make it much stronger if there is no serious competition i believe. But i strongly doubt that there will be no REALLY SERIOUS competition in their market.
Yea if Wagerr goes up it will inspire copycats.  There's are literally 2-3 coins doing the same thing.  Aragon has a copycat.  Skincoin has a copycat.  Eth (after they hit it off) has many copycats.  Success draw competitors.  Just the way it works.

But with that said, first to market is a huge advantage.  Reason why copycats won't dethrone ETH.  Wagerr's competitors would be traditional gambling avenues in addition to other gambling on the blockchain.   All other gambling coins will have the same competitors so this isn't unique to only Wagerr.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: July 09, 2017, 07:15:50 PM
^^^If you like Sonm regardless the price going down short-term is ideal.  I'm not so sure all of this is "hurting" the price when alot of things are crashing, plus Sonm just isn't that liquid right now and that likely plays a part.

Only thing I'd really say about Almeida vs Sonm bonus support:  I think people overrate dev on this forum and undervalue the importance of good business practices.  There's a back and forth of each side not wanting to get taken advantage of.  Almeida feels he has a legit case, and Sonm team is probably thinking "we get all these spam e-mails as it is trying to get us for bonuses that are not due".  I'm not saying whose right or wrong, but in the huge scope of things 5k tokens is NOTHING for SONM team and it would improve the business image, but I'm not the business.

Regardless, Sonm team, I think it's important you remember that even when Almeida's attacking you as a frustrated customer/investor, you have to keep a mindset of quality customer service in mind.  Even if you disagree and want to refute what he says, personal/subliminal shots shouldn't becoming from the business (your) side of the argument.  While I wish they wouldn't come from the investor/customer side as often as they do on this forum, at the end of the day that side of the argument kinda has the right to get verbally abrasive.

You must be new here.  I asked sonm_commubity to be more professional and gotten banned for it over at slack.

This is as professional as it will get, which is why I want out as soon as I can with minimal loss.  Great idea.  Shitty team.  It's about the people.  Learned it the hard way.

This will be interesting to see if he puts up.

He is just trolling, I'd leave it alone if he gave me 5000 tokens tho.

I'm kinda sick of reading your posts, but I understand your feelings.

I still think you should atleast deal via PM's here instead of writing all your crypto-life here on this thread. It stresses me to read your 4541 lines long of "give me my 5k tokens !" (shortened version).

But I get your rage too. Anyway, good luck, and please, if they respond of course, use PM here.
Airing dirty laundry is how you get a response.  Look at Poloniex customers for example.  Ppl held hostage for 2 months.  Gets popular on Reddit, fixed within 2 days.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: July 09, 2017, 04:55:39 PM
Greetings.

Let me try to explain the classic mistakes in your situation.
The most common mistake of all non-ETH investors is that tokens are credited according to the time of the bitcoin\altcoin transaction confirmation.

There is no classical mistake as you didn't say anywhere what would be the timestamp or criteria, you are conveniently choosing the time you imputed the transactions manually as will be clear from my comments below.

As you know, in all bitcoin-friendly services, you need to wait for confirmation of the transaction (in our case, 3 confirmations), and only after that transaction completes (for example, any exchange).

Yes I know that and my second transaction, the one I got more losses because of you, had 18 confirmations when I sent to your support an email saying I could not see it through. So you are not telling the truth as it will be clear below.

Only hours later the tokens were moved to my wallet, and your support sent me an email saying "hey, here is your tokens" right after the time the tokens were sent, just really right after, thus suggesting very strongly you did it manually.

Bonuses are calculated not according to the time when you sent your funds, but according to the transaction confirmation time.

Again, you didn't explain it anywhere and, again, I know very well tokens were not sent after 3 confirmations simply because I had much more than this and only hours after you sent the tokens. Looking at the very same links you posted below this will be proven.

Of course it makes sense that the tokens are sent within some confirmation in BTC blockchain, of course. But you didn't establish any parameter and you even said here that the timestamp of transaction would be counted. That's why I took the trouble to calculate for you the numbers you yourself, based on your own said parameters, could not calculate alone. Granted, not even the mined block time was respected by you as we will see below.

Yes, i belive that you send funds at 17h40m8s UTC, but it recieved at Jun 15, 2017 11:15:31 PM

PROOF
(https://blockexplorer.com/tx/3e8514274752b18c369877ea5dff0779f70567763cd99fc2ca28231ad5fa1654)

As you can see, in this case you made a mistake with the reference point. Which in this turn led to incorrect results of calculating bonuses.

You don't need to believe, it is in the blockchain so anyone can check. Since you like proofs, how about a real proof looking at my second transaction?

https://blockexplorer.com/tx/8e7fdaedd1af60a5799dc6b3aac7160a37cd60c5486c210045e2a149a5aa86b0

Look at the time it was mined: 2017-06-17 08:05:32 AM UTC.

Now look at the time you gave me tokens here:

https://ethplorer.io/tx/0xc35b15f53bf9a38586d4c86fdef227bca431a0e10fef0c279fdae9636b94685b#pageSize=100

You sent me tokens at 2017-06-17 12:46:20 PM UTC, almost 5 hours after my confirmation!! How do you explain that now??? This shows without any doubt you gave tokens the moment you chose, thus turning what could be a technical mistake in a convenient form of delivering less tokens, that's the only conclusion since you are incapable of admitting your mistakes and the big mess in your ICO.

If you're right, let's try to figure it out together. What do I do for this? I compare your transaction and the transaction of the investor, who, with your words, sent the money after you and received a bonus more than you. What i see next?

You:
Your TimeStamp:

His TimeStamp:
23 days 5 hrs ago (Jun-15-2017 05:40:29 PM +UTC)

As I see, the one you are talking about sent his money 5 hours earlier than you. It turns out that you are extremely inattentive, or you deliberately mislead everyone.

Do you think I and others are idiots? 10:34:09 PM +UTC is the time YOU imputed the transaction in ethereum blockchain. Do you really want to use the very thing I'm complaining about as an argument against me? Haha!

By your own example we see again how you screwed up the ICO. You sent those tokens only in Jun 15 at 10:34:09 PM UTC, but my transaction was mined in Jun 15 at 8:15:31 PM UTC. So, again, how full of bullshit are you? I'm so glad everybody is seeing how you guys lie and try to manipulate.

And you say I deliberately mislead everyone? You are a bunch of incompetent brats who got caught and now put the blame in who caught you. It is right there the time I sent the money, 17:40:08 UTC, there is nothing false about what I said moron, you came here and in slack to say the timestamp of transaction would be respected, the transaction was sent 17:40:08 UTC, period.

You, on the contrary, is deceiving people here on daily basis saying things will be solved in 1 or 2 days, for how long? Weeks. Then you say bonuses are solved, then they are not solved anymore. Geez! You just got busted once more above. Even disregarding the transaction time, and considering mined blocks time as YOU YOURSELF want, you sent me the tokens hours after, 2 hours and 19 minutes for the first one, 4 hours and 41 minutes for the second. The second I even had it accelerated half dozen times.

Let me put yet another proof of my honesty. The second transaction I asked for a time which was WORSE for me in BTC price, the price of BTC was worse the time I sent the transaction in comparison with the time you imputed it manually: 2549.07 USD was what I asked for the transaction at 08h04m24s AM of june 17th, you sent me tokens at 12:46:20 PM and BTC price was 2596.03 USD. Why I did it? Because I didn't want to con you, I want to put a fair request and that you gave me the correct exchange rate. How do you like them apples?

Let's check the transaction confirmation time again:

https://blockexplorer.com/tx/8e7fdaedd1af60a5799dc6b3aac7160a37cd60c5486c210045e2a149a5aa86b0

Received Time  Jun 17, 2017 11:05:32 AM

So, as you can see, the calculations that you made have a mistake at the moment which the payments were calculated. So, the BTC price, that you use is incorrect.

I see change BTC price at 17 june from 2685.19 to 2484.96 for 4 hours.

Yeah and you chose the worst exchange rate to give to me. That's why you keep ignoring the exchange rate issue. Why didn't you comment on that??? What was the exchange rate you used, hmm?

Be more careful,
Stay tunes,
SONM Community

Be more honest! Respect your investors! Give the money back and show you are not a greedy liar!
Np.  It was basic math and logic as you said, which SONM team appear to lack. Least you know why ICO is still being distributed.

Another strike.

WAY too many red flags at this point. You've been warned

I've been following this project for weeks and had planed on investing this morning. I had my wallet loaded up, but the escrow insanity was the final straw and I won't be investing.

  • The interview videos are unprofessional and give vague details about the project, along with uncomfortable silences. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IewRkEv6IHQ
  • The marketing videos promise the world on a platter with next to no details (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OS-BxuVRyy0). Huge pans of the world but no substance.
  • The aforementioned association with https://icopromo.com . I hate asking this but why are so many huge ICOs coming out of Russia?
  • The weird and seemingly uncaring attitude toward pre-ico people. The math just didn't add up and it seemed sloppy
  • PULLING THE ESCOW. My god, having 3 owners of the company hold the escrow keys IS NOT AN ESCROW. Doing it behind the back of a trusted escrow and the users is the biggest red flag I can think of
  • The responses to being found out regarding the escrow are unprofessional and unconvincing.
  • The IMMEDIATE posts of vague support, also in broken english, after anyone posts valid points of concern.
  • My conclusion: These guys want to make millions, spend a few months to a year half-assed building a platform while funneling funds, then suddenly will run out of money. No one will know why, and they'll be really "apologetic", but our money will be gone.
I'll just leave this here. This was posted before the ICO
I'm out.

Sorry I missed that or I would have skipped.  Then again I thought having good idea was the most important thing.  Forgot to factor in team.  Now it is Team->Idea in that order.

Preach on brother...
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [pre-ICO] ⚤ sexservice.io SEXS — Sex dating service on: July 09, 2017, 02:58:50 PM
In principle, there are several advantages to this project.
The most important is anonymity. That is, to pay for services, you will not need to disclose your credit card numbers and data, for example. This is very good for the participants. The second plus: this is what all this will be on the blockchain.
Well and safety for mutual payments too.
Otherwise the same dating sites.
Huh You still need to go meet the person.  Anonymity goes out the Windows when that happens.  There's nothing here cold hard cash cannot replace.
