161  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No trades without loss on: April 11, 2019, 07:07:22 PM
Crypto currency trading is quite hard; we mostly lose some and we get to win some.

And the tendencies of making the right decision is what ensures whether our portfolio is in profit or losses
In order to ensure consistency; we have to avoid fud and be focused

NB: this is my personal experience from trading and I do hope you get to give more insights and correct my wrongs
Thanks in anticipation
Well said! As they say, no winning without losing in the market. Some day you win and some day you lose that is the market. It all depends on your decisions, when you make the right decision you make money and if you make the wrong decision you pay the price.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO owners and their dubious character. on: April 11, 2019, 06:40:12 PM

scams are everywhere even before the series of ICOs in 2017. the government was trying to resolve this issue through SEC but it seem like it will do more damage to us than seeing solutions because of the KYC. IEO is now introduced, though it may be good for investors we may not see transparency as well.
For me, investing money into ICO is a big waste of money. Today's ICOs are full of scams, so why invest my money in to scams? Over 98% of ICOs today are scam ICOs, so why invest your money anyway? Beware guy.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Stablecoins have a future? on: April 11, 2019, 06:31:26 PM
Stablecoins have been considered among many investors to be a safe-haven for crypto's volatility. Ever since Tether (USDT) emerged, several other stablecoins have launched in order to provide people with a wide variety of options to choose from. However, the stability of stablecoins is yet to be questioned since we've seen how Tether has gone below $1 in the past.

NuBits used to be a stablecoin too, but now it has lost its peg to the USD. Which means, that the same thing could happen with most stablecoins out there, since they're traded on a free market.

Nonetheless, do you believe that stablecoins will have a future? If not, why? Smiley
Yes, I believe the stablecoins will have a future because it's as you said "they are safe-havens for crypto investors" whenever the market starts misbehaving people have a place to put their own money.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is $25 XLM worth your privacy (identify). on: April 04, 2019, 03:39:52 PM
Don't sell your personal data for $25. they might tell you they need KYC to avoid cheaters but be sure where you are putting yourself into. they are harvest people information just like facebook, and google.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Crypto now? on: April 04, 2019, 03:31:45 PM
I'm just curious if you guys still hodling your altcoins?
Do you still believed that we could get x1000 profit if we hodl our altcoins longer? And kindly suggest best coins should i invest this year.
Thanks.
I always encourage people to hodl their coins more especially my friends because Hodling is another form of investment. And for me, the best altcoins to buy right now are Bitcoin cash BCH, Litecoin LTC, Dogecoin DOGE, and Binance coin BNB.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm buying alts now on: April 04, 2019, 03:28:11 PM
Well, I think the best altcoins to buy now are Binance coin BNB, Bitcoin Cash BCH, and Litecoin LTC. these are the best altcoins to buy I believe for now.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA vs ADA - Which has a better future/potential? on: April 04, 2019, 03:25:41 PM
Oops, forget about IOTA & ADA. Just go for Litecoin or Bitcoin Cash they are more profitable when the crypto market get bullish.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A true crypto enthusiast must be courageous on: April 04, 2019, 03:21:10 PM
A risky investor should be courageous.
Crypto currency and blockchain technology are the future. True crypto enthusiastic were never in dilemma and nor will be. The price of certain crypto currencies might be in turbulent path but the blockchain technology has been rapidly improving, evolving and adapting.
As they say, the coward will never become a hero. The way I see it the majority of bitcoiners are entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs are very courageous because without a courage you can never be an entrepreneur. Also, entrepreneurs take risk everyday, so crypto is just another difference ball game ball to play.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solutions to KYC complain of some Bounty Hunters on: April 04, 2019, 03:14:16 PM
Well, the majority of the ICOs asking the bounty hunters for KYC turns out to the scammy ones. therefore, it is no-no for me to join any new bounty with KYC anymore. I stopped from joining any ICO that is asking for my personal data because they might sell it on the Darkweb.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not yet an end for crypto on: April 04, 2019, 03:09:25 PM
There is a saying that the road to success is not always smooth. This is just exactly what crypto inves tment portrays. In the business of crypto, uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. The fact that there is a very high level of dip in crypto market currently is not enough reason to conclude that an end has come to crypto.I know that the bearish market situation at present  in the crypto world would  make many crypto lovers to be having a second thought of relinquishing their ardent commitment to crypto investment since no tangible profit is forthcoming but honestly, that is not the best option. What crypto is going through now is just a bend and not the end . In a short while from now, things will amend for better .This is not yet the end for crypto but rather a bend for something better.
There is nothing more to this than the market correction.
the entire cryptocurrency market take a dive for about a year and the half now.
But we hope see more another crypto boom this year and everything would be fine.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT Tether safe? on: April 04, 2019, 02:43:43 PM
Today, the tether continues to print 250 million tether, raising the tether's market capitalization to more than $ 2.7 billion to reach the top 10 coinmarketcap. People say that every time a tether is printed, the bitcoin price increases because the tether pumped USDT onto the floor to push the bitcoin price. What do you think about this and keep the USDT safe?
There is something fishy about Tether which many people are not understanding. Tether is not transparent about their supply and true liquidity. I don't actually trust tether at moment due to their lack of transparency to the people.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON - is Justin Sun all hype? on: April 04, 2019, 02:39:39 PM
Tron all the way, I like Tron and Justin Sun as well. I think Justin Sun is trying to the next level #CZBinance the CEO of Binance. They are both using twitter a lot to air their views on crypto with the crypto community daily via Twitter.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do if you are deceived? on: April 04, 2019, 02:33:50 PM
Since ICO is a relatively new fundraising mechanism, there is no regulation about it yet. At the moment, before you put your pennies into one of the ICOs, you can only do due diligence about the project and the team. Like OP said, peoples need to start doing research on the person behind the project. Are their identities genuine?
And if you want to really invest big money, you must contact and meet them face to face. That's how it should be done, just like the old time.
ICOs are very terrible when comes to scamming people nowadays. I think the only thing we should do when it comes to promoting bounties is we should be very careful to what we are promoting. Before you start promoting a bounty you should make sure to look at the company background and the team members one by one, down to bounty manager, is he legit or not and then make your final decision.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized vs centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, which one is better? on: April 04, 2019, 02:26:12 PM
For me, I think centralized exchanges are cheaper, better and more safer compared to decentralized ones. Centralized exchanges are the ones that normally have a strong team of managerial staffs, a good security team that upgrades and monitor the exchange servers and system applications, while decentralized exchanges has fewer staffs, most of them works remotely with very few coins to trade.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your destiny is in your hands on: April 04, 2019, 02:17:58 PM
I don't know why many people are in rush when it comes to promoting/investing in new project without putting the effort of studying the project carefully and finally they end up regretting their decisions. People should take their time to study the project step by step before moving forward that's the best thing to do.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or EOS? on: January 13, 2019, 11:55:38 PM
More and more blockchain games choose EOS instead of ETH (and I believe it's the same with ICOs)

Hey crypto gamers! What do you prefer more?

example:
https://gameunculus.io/blog/94

When it comes to developing new dapps EOS is more faster, scalable and more reliable than Ethereum. EOS is like the new Ethereum 2.0 - therefore, If I was to choose between the two I'll always go for the EOS.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CMC still safe at all ?? on: January 13, 2019, 11:52:41 PM
CoinMarketCap is not safe make sure to do your do diligence before investing in to any altcoin. I normally used  coincodex for my own coin research to find all the necessary information about a particular coin.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No bull run this year?! For real? on: January 13, 2019, 11:47:28 PM
Most of the people said in this board there will be no bull run in the late of 2018 and there is a high probability that bull run comes in mid-2019. What's your thought about it?
We all witnessed the entire year of 2018 without any specific bull run and yet again we are in 2019 and the market is not showing any strong sign that bulls are coming anytime soon.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: everything will be ok. trust in crypto. on: January 13, 2019, 11:37:42 PM
There is no doubt about the market will recover sooner or later but the problem is we don't know when. The year 2017 was the bullish year and the year 2018 was the bearish one. Hopefully, we're expecting to see another bull run within this year of 2019
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: January 13, 2019, 11:31:55 PM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.
Buy bitcoins it more safer than the ICOs. In today's world there are so many scams Which includes ICOs too. It's very likely to invest your money in to scam than real ICO. If you are a beginner I suggest you should invest your money in Bitcoin.
