421  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC are getting dumped, is this repeat of 2013 pump and dump? on: January 04, 2018, 07:00:55 PM
No, much have changed since 2013.
Back then there was one exchange that had most of the volume. These days its different.
Especially with wall street getting involved and all those ETFs that are trying to get approved and listed on the stock markets.
Agreed, this time is a different game. it is about 4 years since 2013 and you are still thinking something never changed? think again, please because that's wrong calcualtion.
422  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which of those exchanges did you hear about or have used before ? on: January 04, 2018, 06:57:15 PM
I only knew about 3 of the listed exchanges which are:

binance.com
yobit.net
okex.com

I normally use HitBTC and Bitfinex these days and sometimes Kraken, and Polo.
423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: January 04, 2018, 06:53:22 PM
I do both trading and holding at the same time because I always look for the most profitable coin and then switch my money to it. e.g. Litecoin to Ripple.
424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep all crypto in trading platforms or wallets? on: January 04, 2018, 06:51:03 PM
I don't keep my bitcoin or altcoins on the exchange because it is very risky. I use an online service the Multi-coin wallet called CoinPayments.net. in coinpayments you can store up to 60+ different coins.
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Psychology of waiting on: January 04, 2018, 06:47:30 PM
I have now heard a lot of people talking about they are waiting for bitcoin to drop, so that they can buy bitcoin. But these guys might have said that since 6k$ and are still waiting. What do you tell those people, to try and make them understand that waiting for a drop can cost them huge percentage gains?
There is no sense in waiting for bitcoin price to drop before buying, that is a kerosine method! That method was used in the past but it is no longer working much these days. It is better to buy bitcoin when you have the money to avoid bitcoin price from getting to another level and regret why you didn't buy it in the first place.
426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start with Bitcoin or Ethereum on: January 04, 2018, 06:42:34 PM
I want to start  trading , should  i buy Bitcoin or Etheureum first ?
Bitcoin is the biggest and the most popular cryptocurrency, but if you are starting now go for ethereum because it is more profitable than bitcoin for now.
427  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Site on: January 04, 2018, 06:37:05 PM
I just started trading and the very first problem i encountered is what trading site shall i use?
my friends from gambling site suggested some and i decided to pick cryptopia
lately, i just discovered poloinex
which is very friendly to both beginners because there is an option where you can sell your alt coins at your desired price even when you're out somewhere

what about you guys? what do you use and why? imma change later if i discover something much better
Go to HitBTC or BitFinex - These two trading platforms are the best in terms of trading bitcoin and altcoin.
428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trying to choose the ICO to invest in on: January 04, 2018, 06:35:03 PM
Cypherium looks more better and promising than Rentberry. If i were you i'll invest in Cypherium or invest 50/50 in both, instead of going all-in for one ICO.
429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its the right time to sell Bitcoin ? on: January 04, 2018, 06:29:51 PM
Do you think it will be the best time to sell as there are two kind of speculations one says the value of bitcoin will reach $20,000 by 2018 and there are also speculations that the bitcoin might go through a dump in upcoming days but i know we cannot believe into random predictions by random users due to the volatility of bitcoin but i need some suggestions whether to hold on to bitcoin or sell it out and invest some of it into altcoins and then wait for the price drop to reinvest into bitcoin which i am not sure will happen or not.
At current situation it is not advisable to sell bitcoin because bitcoin started recovering from the recent market correction. It is better to sell when the price get to another level.
430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: January 03, 2018, 07:17:36 PM
Some good reasons why you use bitcoin.

1. It is fast. Transactions are instantaneous and confirmation times are usually done withing 10 minutes.
2. It is cheap to transfer any amount of money anywhere. Fees are insignificant at this point.
3. Your bitcoin are your alone, they can't be blocked by bank, IRS or any institutions.
4. There are no charge backs.
Yes, but the only issues with bitcoin are the high transaction fees and slow transaction. once these are solved it will be ready for people to use it to buy anything smoothly.
431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: January 03, 2018, 07:13:24 PM
Hello everyone as the title says ^
Do you store your bitcoins online or on a wallet on your computer, perhaps cold storage?
Well, i used an online wallet service called blochachain.info to store my bitcoin. Blockchain.info wallet is very simple and easy to use.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoins become worthless? on: January 03, 2018, 07:11:35 PM
For me possibly to yes. History is littered with currencies that failed and are no longer used, such as the German Mark during the Weimar Republic and, more recently, the Zimbabwean dollar. Although previous currency failures were typically due to hyperinflation of a kind that Bitcoin makes impossible, there is always potential for technical failures, competing currencies, political issues and so on. As a basic rule of thumb, no currency should be considered absolutely safe from failures or hard times. Bitcoin has proven reliable for years since its inception and there is a lot of potential for Bitcoin to continue to grow. However, no one is in a position to predict what the future will be for Bitcoin.
You can't compare bitcoin with some useless fiat such as German Mark, and Zimbabwean dollar. In fact, I don't think you need anyone to tell you bitcoin has a future because you don't need anyone to. Bitcoin is digital, fast, and decentralized. it was selling below a dollar (USD) 7 years ago and look at it now selling at $15k+ and bitcoin is not done yet it may reach up to $100k this year 2018. Keep using such sentiments you'll regret later! Tongue

I guess you've made your decision by now and you've seen the outcome of decision you make. So, how do you see the difference bitcoin and ethereum investment, anyway? which one is better?

Yes, it was, but not for now because the bitcoin price is trying to recover from the recent market correction. i see no reason for selling now.
435  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: December 28, 2017, 01:08:43 AM
What is a decent amount of Bitcoin you should have to make day trading  worth while?
it's totally up to you. low invest means low profit and also low risk. so i think it is wise to start with low amount for beginners  so  when you feel confident then you can increase your amount.
But low profit isn't worth with your time , talents and efforts you did spend on it, right?
Why not keep holding your bitcoins, go and do the research on your own. I always prefer reinvesting into potential altcoins rather than trading.
436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: December 28, 2017, 01:03:25 AM
One or two bitcoin companies will not determine the future of bitcoin. bitcoin has the successful year 2017 and we are wishing to see more successful years for bitcoin.
437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: December 28, 2017, 12:59:53 AM
What is the best coin to buy today?  So many good coins.. sometimes I have hard time thinking what's the best coin to buy.
In August 2017 bitcoin is the best coin to buy no doubt, but currently, the best coin to buy is Ripple XRP. Think Ripple coin has huge potential and a serious role to play in 2018.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance vs Bittrex on: December 28, 2017, 12:54:32 AM
Always go with Binance they are more transparent than Bittrex. Binance is user-friendly and the interface is easier to navigate. Bittrex customer support and verification process sucks. Angry
439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin expectation end of 2018 on: December 28, 2017, 12:44:47 AM
A trader just made a million dollar bet that Bitcoin would be over $50k by the end of 2018  A large trader (or traders) just plopped down a million dollars betting that Bitcoin would hit $50k sometime in 2018.
Indeed, there are some certain signs that show bitcoin can reach $50k in the year 2018, but there are also some issues with bitcoin like slow transaction speed and high transaction fees - these two issues might slow bitcoin down.
440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Happy New Year $22000? on: December 28, 2017, 12:40:59 AM
Hello! I think for the new year Bitcoin $22000; ETH $780.
What are the forecasts?
Bitcoin price is trying to balance itself at $15k as the final price for bitcoin in 2017 and ethereum at $740. The next big thing is going to come in 2018 because this 2017 is already over.
