161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v11.3 on: April 16, 2018, 02:31:28 PM
Is there any future plan for additional veriants of Algos.
- heavy (Sumo, Haven)
- ultraheavy (IPBC)

Calymore miners are great I use it for years, and now I will be forced to switch to alternatives... Undecided
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: April 15, 2018, 03:28:08 PM
what pool gives such a high Network Hash Rate?

All pools are less than 2MHs. Also, this is too big network difference for SOLO miners, so I think that it is an error in blockchain calculations...
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining will die in 2018! on: April 15, 2018, 02:37:32 PM
It depends of what You expect.
The gold days of mining with extra profit, and simple "one click mining solutions" are gone. You has to have some technical knowledge, and if You ready to invest Your time in research, learn, adopt and follow the latest news, it is, and will be profitable.
The profitability will be questionable for 10000GPUs (or bigger) farms, but for small miners from 50 to 200GPUs always will be something to mine. Also, the profitability will be better when some miners left mining.
ASICs were considered as a future of mining, but few greedy ASIC producers with their unfair business model, and dedicated overproduction destroy all trust in ASIC profitability.
FPGA can be the future, but it depends how miner program developers support it. If it will be free programs with "devs fee" (like Claymore) system, the future is bright. If they decide to sell dedicated HW+SW solutions it will probably finish like ASICs...
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: April 15, 2018, 02:11:51 PM
I also thought that GRAFT have some bug in newadopted blokchain...Looks like block adjustment system do not work corrcetly. Network show over 145MHs (all pools hold less than 2MHs) difficulty over 17 bill... and only few blocks mined since yesterday. The income for GRAFT is far less than Nicehash at the moment, ASIC owners, will not mine less profitable coin.
So, I think, error is in the blockchain..
With this tempo We will reach fork block 65110 in July...
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] GRAFT - Universal Payment Processing Network on: April 10, 2018, 11:20:38 PM
So, no fork until next week... if You check the diff, and daily income,  ASICs are majority of Graft network... price falls on both exchanges...
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Monero got saved after Fork. What about ETH, ZEC.. Forks ?? Save GPU mining ! on: April 08, 2018, 09:05:51 PM
Yes...Monero (and most of Cryptonight algo coins) are saved now. Community support the devs in their fight for DECENTRALIZATION. Greedy ASIC producers, now has to make a different calculations for future ASIC miners. I hope more fair, if they do not want to produce doorstops. Who will buy now X3, Giant-N? There are lot of them on EBAY, but mostly zero bids...
The regular forking every 6 months is the future for GPU mining...
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Monero Fork in one day.. hash rate drop predictions ? on: April 08, 2018, 08:52:49 PM
Well its back to 198Mh/s now. looks like its going to go up now Sad

Yes, and diff is going up, too... Now we will see that Nicehash miners will leave the pools very soon...
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: April 08, 2018, 08:44:16 PM

It is not 4x more profitable to mine monero because hash rate of cryptonight is much higher that has rate of cryptonight heavy which monero uses now.

ASICS were note used on monero network. It was because monero used cryptonight. Just try to mine monero or sumokoin with the same hardware you've used to mine in the past. You will notice a big drop on your hashrate.

Note: you will need a miner that knows cryptonight heavy.

Thanks for reply.
It is a lot more than 4x profitable, now. Monero now use Crptonight v7, and YES, hashrate is almost the same.
Sumokoin use Cryptonight Heavy, (some more coins will accept it tommorow), and You are right, hashrate are lower than native Cryptonight (v6)  Wink
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ELYA - asic resistance on: April 08, 2018, 08:38:07 PM
ELYA will implement ASIC resistance. It is a matter of two weeks.

Thank You for confirmation, and congratulation for new exchange...every new exchange give confidence to investors, that this is a serious project...
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What algorithm is Bitmain secretly mining right now? on: April 08, 2018, 04:13:46 PM
Bitmain (and similar developers), will use this unfair business model until they know that they can have big profitability. They do not care about their buyers.
Develop specific algo ASIC (what is not cheap), mine in private, make an extra profit. But that mining is not enough to pay the development.
When they calculate that it is better to start selling the units, they know that they can sell tens of thousands in few days.

After last successful Monero ASIC resistance fork, future buyers can see that buying an ASIC is a very risky and speculative invesment. ROI can be infinite (no ROI).  You invested in very expensive unit (12000USD on the beginning of sell), and  now You can mine only small coins where profitability is more than 4x lower than Monero (today). Every day some coin become ASIC resistance, and You will only have a luxuries doorstop.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LAUNCHED][POW]⚡ELECTRONEUM⚡Official Moderated Thread on: April 08, 2018, 03:40:48 PM
As I can see ASIC miners are approaching to ETN network... I hope that coin developers will understand that, and make ASIC resistance change as soon as possible.
Mining Monero today, is 4x more profitable than ETN.  The ETN network hashrate is rising. How? Will You mine something with 4x less income?
Only ASICs approach to network because they are useless on highly profitable Monero and another coins with ASIC resistance algos.

The statement what I read here that ASIC is not widely distributed and there are only few of them is not correct.
Monero network has around 1100MHs before, and now after V7 implementation around 250MHs or less. You can see, more than 3/4 of network were ASICs...
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ELYA on: April 08, 2018, 12:05:00 PM
Do You plan any ASIC resistance switch? Most of ASICs switch to ETN, IPBC, GRFT, etc...to coins what does not make the ASIC resistance yet.
There was around 1000MHs of ASICs hashing power, what left Monero and another updated coins, so the 51 attack (or similar), is possible to smaller network like ELYA is...

We have now found the pool issue and are working on implementing the solution. All BTCN mining rewards will be paid out once the issue is resolved. Thank you for your patience. We will keep you up-to-date.

Thank You very much for support and efforts You made in solving this issue.

Is there any option to mine Cryptonight Heavy algo (Haven, Stellite...), with this latest version?
Thank You for an answer...

I use https://pool.bitcoinote.org/#
There is no any problem on payments.

But the global hashrate is a big problem.
And i cannot decide mine or not on the pool.
Bitcoinote needs to be fixed global hashrate and transaction is too big problem.

Thank You for an answer. I mined on the same pool.
Did not have any problem in the past, but no payments from yesterday. It is recorded in blockchain from pool but no coins registered on wallet. I hope that devs will solve this issue, and that I will not lost my coins.
