161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for newbies on: December 08, 2023, 12:09:41 PM
Hello everyone, as you can see I'm new here, I'm looking for recommendations for a game to bet some money that I don't mind losing, I would like recommendations and if possible a recommendation for somewhere that teaches how to play. Thank you very much. Grin
I'm pretty you'll love slots or dice as it was more easy to play, you can play it manually or automatically, your choice, the casino allows that. I think you should use search engines if you really want to learn on what game you wanna play. It's not bad to ask, but this one is likely a spoon-fed attempt for me.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites and current transactions fee on: December 07, 2023, 06:24:59 PM
Now the gambling site was in the trouble because of the high transaction fee by the exchanges like the Binance. It was unacceptable one for the gambler to pay 26 dollars to withdraw funds from the Binance.Being a gambler,my opinion is to hold till the money in the exchange itself.Surely we get the profit from the gambling site,if we follow some techniques in the gambling site. But my point is why we need to pay the exchange fee of 26 dollars for the single transaction.

My decision may be seems revolutionary one,but the fact is the same transaction fee will be reduced when the market back to the bear standard. The bull run give huge dollars to the trader who hold from the 31k market price of the bitcoin.I had some arguments with my friends with whom we meet on every weekend. They also had the opinion of hold their money in the exchange till the market fee back to the normal one.So what your standard for the current transaction fee of bitcoin.
No, don't hold it on an exchange especially if it's huge, you can use non-custodial wallet or best a hardware wallet. Binance itself or the casino wasn't at fault in the first place if there's a price hike on transaction fees, they're just literally follow the market structure of fees. My advice is that if you will just put it on an exchange and can't gamble the money yet then I suggest trade that instead.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to invest in JITO (JTO)? on: December 07, 2023, 05:01:41 PM
JITO is the first MEV powered stake pool that allows unlocking liquidity on your staked SOL to use across DEFI while keeping self custody of your funds.

JTO is airdropping about 10% of their token supply to eligible users. While some exchanges also announced the coin listing and I'm sure that millions of dollar in liquidity will be added to DEXs and market. But Currently, JITO has 68,636 stakers in pool, 6,340,192 SOL TVL in pool and 82 Validators.

Do you think these amount of stakers and TVL are enough to have governance token airdrop? And is it advisable to invest in this coin?
Always NFA, by the way it's already trading on Binance and up a 1000% and I think they are already announced it that they're airdropping it so yeah there will be a token airdrop. Not advising on anything, you should be responsible on it and do some proper research. Everything right now is going up and what I just can advise is don't FOMO or go all in unless you can afford to lose it.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you say within your limits to encourage responsible gambling? on: December 07, 2023, 03:40:32 PM
If you work as a staff member in a physical casino as a dealer or in a sports bookie, I know that there are subtle ways you can use to encourage responsible gambling that will not go against the terms and conditions for staff.

For example, suppose you encounter a gambler who has wagered $200 at the table and is currently winning $6k. Would you express to them, "Hey, you're up $6k, and you initially entered this table with $200. Walk away, Take your winnings, go!" or will you say, "It is very admirable to know when to stop"?

What will you say within your limits to encourage responsible gambling?
I don't know if you're allowed in the first place to talk with the players, I think it's against the rules as a staff and especially if you're a dealer or something. It may be a good thing but I think you shouldn't be there if you'll not fulfill the job you're tasked to. For me, I'd just do my job until the very last, gamblers are responsible enough to know that they can handle themselves.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 07, 2023, 01:12:22 PM
A couple games to watch on ESPN tonight. Can’t say I’m too interested in watching the first one but the Timberwolves over the Spurs should be an easy win for bettors. The second game should prove to be a little more exciting as the Nuggets take on the Clippers. Surprisingly the Clippers are the favorite, so I’m wondering if the Nuggets have some people out.
The Clippers-Denver game was a surprising one. Denver led by 15 at the end of the first quarter but only to allow the home team to double their score in the second quarter. The defense was good but Jokic missed some shots he should've made.
Not just Jokic missed the shots that he should have made, but him and Murray had committed a lot of turnovers as well, and then he had one shot that was block by Zu. It's critical that he made those shots and score to score. Kudos to their defense as well when they shut down Murray and Porter Jr in the 4th quarter.

While George waxes hot in the 3's again and so it Kahwi taking advantage of the small Murray guarding him. And the Beard with that sidestep three's un-guardable. But this is just one game though, I think the Denver is still the better team down playoff time.
I think it wasn't the night for the Joker having 9/32 FG that was a lot of missed opportunities. I think the turnover committed by Denver was the one that took the Clippers momentum though if it wasn't the case I think they have gotten the lead. Miami on the other hand had a good night without Adebayo, and Orlando Robinson got some great stats as well as Caleb Martin with their double-double performances. I got a win with these two teams today.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 07, 2023, 08:37:04 AM
Does any of feel behavioral change in you based on the win/loss in gambling. Myself had experienced it, and personally I used to be happy and I used to be polite with my family members and kid whenever I am on profit. On the day of losing it changes exactly in the opposite way, even for simple things I get much anger. Particularly while giving food to kid patience is must. On winning days I let him take his own time and eat. On the losing days I used to shout at him. I'm addicted, and I want fellow gamblers to make a self analysis at regular interval and be on the safer side.
Of course, and likely it's apparent and visible especially when you're losing. I think that explains a lot that it has effect on us and that's clearly understandable because you're not the only one that experience it, just don't get it to the extreme that you'll do things unnecessary.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Do You Convince Someone On Something That Will Not Work on: December 06, 2023, 06:30:14 PM
We all know Martingale will not work in the long run, should I let him find out himself but that will incur a heavy loss in this case.  Cry
Or should I discourage him by showing him videos, articles, and testimonials?

Because of this, I will not talk about online gambling to newbie I could put a guy in big trouble.
I think you can work either way but if you still bump with him then tell him the latter approach. The latter may seem difficult but I think it's worth it if you'll pay attention on the details on how to be a good gambler. Martingale is by far one of the risky strategies out there but if luck is on your side you'd likely made some fortunes.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you deal with high transaction fee on BTC on gambling? on: December 06, 2023, 04:49:23 PM
I think everyone notice how high the current fee right now on Bitcoin network. I’m sure player like me that relying only on signature campaign payment in Bitcoin is having a hard time to play right now since the fee is insanely high.

How do you deal with this problem? Is there any casino that allows no confirmation to deposit? Let’s say I will send my Bitcoin using fee below average and then play while it’s still unconfirmed. I knew that some casino do have instant deposit but I never try depositing much lower fee to the average fee if they will still credit instantly.
I think for segwit addresses it wasn't that high, I think it's more high using Ethereum and that thing sucks compare to the former. I think if you can trade-off on selling your bitcoin to some altcoins that have lower transaction fees that are supported by your casino, then, I suggest you go with that path.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin or token with high potential on: December 06, 2023, 02:15:23 PM
Hello,
What cheap projects do you know that have good potential?

Thank you.
Research more, literally there are lot of tools this time around to use for that and even Twitter you'll find those gems. Just follow the right persons though I be blunt that there are lot of frauds out there. Look into the trend narratives they're likely the projects that will have potential.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Keeping Numbers Or You Allow The Machine To Pick Your Numbers To Bet on: December 06, 2023, 12:09:27 PM
The lottery is very popular here in our country you can find lotto outlets in almost every corner of our city, and there's always a long line whenever the top prize balloons I frequently bet in a lottery but every time I bet I just mark the LP sign in a lotto form which means Lucky Pick that is the machine will be the one to pick the numbers for you.

My reason is I don't want to have attachments on numbers that I'm going to bet because it will make me a lotto betting addict, some bettors keep their favorite numbers to bet and they make sure that they bet on it daily in fear that it will come out when they failed to make a bet.

In your country do you have this LP lucky pick feature in the lotto form and do you choose LP to make a bet for you or are you keeping numbers to bet, what are your reasons, and what's your success rate?
I don't think that if you have machine pick it for you, you wouldn't be addicted on it too, that's probably just a theory. You'll get addicted to it even if you don't have something like numbers to care for, addiction doesn't seem to have that kind of pattern. I think most lotto winners have numbers they care.
171  Economy / Gambling / Re: are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com trustworthy with larger amounts ? on: December 05, 2023, 09:57:13 PM
are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com  trustworthy with larger amounts ?

somebody can confirm betting on this 2 bookies with over 10k , 50k ? and no issues with withdrawls
Definitely, what has been the case on your side? They wouldn't damage their reputation with that just kind of amount ser, they even process million of dollars. They are so far the best casinos you can trust out there and we can assure that.
172  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Nakakabahalang balita mga kabayan. on: December 04, 2023, 03:36:12 AM
Is it because the current admin is more serious in focusing on the country's economic growth than the previous one's?

If ever na meron kayong alam about local exchange maliban sa Coins.ph at PDAX na kasing convenient ng Binance please don't hesitate to share it here guys it will really help us find more alternatives.
More like mafia lang mga 'to na pakunwari "to protect the consumers" when in fact scams are still rampant locally online sa bansa natin na nag take action lang most of the time kapag malaki na iyong scam na nagaganap. I don't think may mas convenient pa sa Binance in terms of local exchanges, ang laki ng fees kapag local.

173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is SPS Splinterlands A 100x Gaming Token?! on: December 02, 2023, 09:10:04 PM
With the current circulating supply right now multiplied by the current price I think there's a possibility that it may hit that level unless we see some massive unlocks on their tokenomics. I think GameFi especially P2E will still be a huge narrative that will boom this coming bull run and with Splinterlands it's more on delivering good products and extensive marketing same with other gaming tokens.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why sports betting? on: December 02, 2023, 03:57:56 PM
With hundreds or probably thousands of games online, I'd like to ask why would you choose sports betting?

Moreover, I like to know if you really believe you can win in sports betting in the long run, or you just really think no chance because every game can be win by luck, sports betting is not exemption.
I believe that with sports betting you focus on one thing you're good at and if you're good at it and you trust your analysis you'll surely love to play with it. Not falling in love with it but you just want to try yourself or test if you're good at it, besides, it triggers our curiosity and more manageable compare to just playing on luck-based gambling. I guess I have the chance to win in the long run with sports betting.
175  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Nakakabahalang balita mga kabayan. on: December 02, 2023, 01:44:50 PM

1. OKX exchange - https://www.okx.com/p2p-markets/php/sell-usdt
2. Bybit Exchange - https://www.bybit.com/fiat/trade/otc/?actionType=0&token=USDT&fiat=PHP&paymentMethod=28
3. Bitget exchange - https://www.bitget.com/p2p-trade/sell?fiatName=PHP

Tama nga yung sabi ni Terry Ridon rito: “The absence of registration for Binance, Coinbase, and other unregistered cryptocurrency exchanges jeopardizes the financial security of millions of cryptocurrency traders and billions worth of virtual asset transactions in the Philippines,”
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 02, 2023, 11:39:08 AM
I know there are many people who regard themselves as professionals at playing gambling games, but do you ever think that one can make gambling a full-time job and career because of his or her deep knowledge of the games? Can someone bet with little or no loss because it is one of the most unpredictable games to play?

But, in a broader sense, can you make gambling a career path, abandoning all other sources of income to focus entirely on it?
If so, why?
If not, please advise!
I guess yes. Can we agree that those streamers who stream are professional and they make as their career? I don't think you'll be at a little loss if you're into gambling, it's more like a roller coaster ride as well, you lose hard sometimes or you make it at breakeven. For me, don't make it full time, maybe make it a part time where you can work on other things. These days having multiple stream of income was sometimes a priority to most.
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should altcoins be blamed? on: December 01, 2023, 09:58:03 PM
A lot of persons who despise Bitcoin or crypto currencies in General were once involved in them.some of these persons hated Bitcoin and crypto in general because of some common reasons.
Some of these persons may never have ventured the crypto space nor Bitcoin investments before because of some government restrictions against Crypto especially in countries like china etc where the government is strictly against it. Others are just afraid due to possible stories they have heard of people who lost drastically in the crypto space either due to hacks or scam.
However my main interest here is solely towards those who have invested in crypto in the past. Most of these persons hate Bitcoin and other Crypto currencies due to the great loss they suffered from dips in alt coins .most of these losses were as a result of improper understanding and experience before attempting massive investments.Of course some early adopters of Bitcoin who sold or lost access to Their coins have also lost faith in the crypto verse.
My question is should altcoins really be blamed for hate some persons have for Bitcoin due to their loss in alt coins?
Huh? Altcoins was likely just a tool of investment and it's your responsibility if you invest your money in something you should know you have knowledge about, don't invest on things you don't know. If you lost access to your coins nor you invest at the top, the only thing to be blame was yourself, not the coins nor the people that says to you to FOMO in.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing altcoins now or during halving? on: December 01, 2023, 09:39:05 PM
Currently Altcoins are start growing and crypto market condition is pretty good as every where is green. And many of us expected that, bull will come soon and so people already start analysis for which altcoins should buy and could be best investment for bull run. But as we know, market goes a little down when it comes to BTC Halving, which will be happened probably on 24th april, 2024.
So are you going to pick your altcoins Now??  Or During/After BTC Halving while you can buy altcoins with low price?
I believe pre halving we may see a correction probably January something like that, don't chase greens just because your favorite influencer tend to talk about it. Moreover, in the long term it will come to fruition so now probably look for narrative that will play major role in the coming bull run and look for those laggard/low cap altcoins.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: December 01, 2023, 09:21:17 PM
At least you admit it that you've got the wrong action and I think that's more than enough to learn your lesson. Hope this is an eye opener to everyone out there that has a likelihood to be in the same situation as the OP. The only winner here was the casino and the bank but that's the risk of taking risks, you'll end up either to retire early or worst pays the price of losing.
If he was able to beat the casino using loan, we will see a completely opposite thread than this one because he's successful and he think taking a loan to gamble works. Cheesy

I wonder if $2K is a big money for the @OP, but of course this will be a good lesson for him to learn never gamble using loan money. If investing using loan is already a bad decision, gambling using loan is actually a worst decision.
Actually it would work the other way around if the loan was in million dollars and the casino was just small time one lol. In some third world countries that's really a huge deal and probably OP is from a developing country afaik. I don't think investing using loan was a bad decision actually that's what most rich do to their loaned money, gambling was way worse.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: December 01, 2023, 02:32:17 PM
I have always advised people not to take gambling seriously but I myself became heavily addicted to live blackjack from stake.com and kept winning and losing. In this case I will not blame the gambling site because they give live cards. I started the game with just $20 but gradually I got addicted to it and wanted to gamble and win bigger amounts by depositing bigger amounts. I lost $1700 playing this way then I decided to play with a much bigger amount and recover all the losses then quit gambling for this I borrowed 270000 BDT ($2180) from the bank and deposited there. But unfortunately I lost them. Now I am financially so weak that it has become very difficult to meet my family expenses and I owe the bank $2180 which will take me a long time to pay off. Now it will take about 2 years for my financial situation to be normal again. Gambling addiction set back my normal life by 2 years. I am a victim of real experience and I am sharing my real experience with you.  Don't make the same mistake I did.  And never decide to gamble with a loan. If you do, your situation may be similar to mine. so beware of gambling
At least you admit it that you've got the wrong action and I think that's more than enough to learn your lesson. Hope this is an eye opener to everyone out there that has a likelihood to be in the same situation as the OP.
