An apology and an explanation would be the correct course of action.

This should tarnish his reputation, not be forgotten. Harsh but Fair.

They are not for scamming, they are for building a solid rep, and will be finally used against my targets to teach a lesson that the WOT ultimately doesn't mean shit, and just because you are a mod/admin for some tiny area of the internet, does not make you God nor Mary fucking Magdalene.  :-)   Fun times ahead.

So you're just a small angry person out for revenge? From this thread it looks like you're just a malicious scammer, or at least you've become one because you realised you could get away with it, and have since changed your tune when mjsbuddha found you on ebay.

I was forth asking for a handout here, i didnt get anything, I was planning on returning it if i did, and whoever did get a freebie should return it, its stolen (come on). Lets keep the hate machine side of the internet away from bitcoin, and be a bit civilised.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shout Out To AnonX For The 37.5 BTC Fo' FREE on: July 04, 2011, 08:01:01 PM
This is what happened to me.. I worked hard trading and *I* got scammed like this many times and had paypal chargebacks too... So... All that hard work, I ended up having to pay THOUSANDS of $ to recover from out of my own pocket.  So, instead of the channel UNDERSTANDING that shit like this happens, they want to put me on blast and make me out to be the fuck who was doing it and they BANNED me.  So, this is what they get.  They get to see how it feels to be where I was at one time.   Here is an example.....

http://pastebin.com/0TCbKZp2

I had NOTHING to do with the middle man here.  I was a victim myself.  This is what started the god damned shitstorm.

I remember this; I was watching when it happened.

I won't say a single word if you "scammed" the scammers back and you are giving away the bitcoins. And if some of them show up at my address, well, I have no idea why or where they came from. Smiley

Was this just a standard MITM scam? i dont quite understand what "service" the other guy is saying you offered that enabled the scam?

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT DEPENDING ON YOUR BANK THIS WIRE WILL GO THROUGH INTERMEDIARY BANKS WHO WILL ALSO CHARGE AN ADDITIONAL FEE

How do i find out if intermediary banks will be used and if additional fees will be charged? Will my bank know?

Is there any upper limit to these transfers? specifically with regard to withdrawals.

174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tradehill needs to fix their charts on: June 25, 2011, 06:32:05 PM
Um, maybe I'm misunderstanding you but...

... you are aware that when you change the chart size, it still has all the same data right? You can drag it backwards along the timeline to "zoom in" on earlier trading history. So it makes sense to keep it the way it is.

What I think they need to do, at the very minimum, and I suggested this to them: put the charts above/below each other, and zoom them the hell in. With as many orders as there are, the market depth chart is almost useless except for the outliers.

The Y-axis doesnt always need to range from zero to 30.

http://bitcoinity.org/markets?theme=dark this is nice, what are the red and green shaded areas in the trade chart? and what do the red and green bars in the middle of the depth chart represent?

is there any tradehill equivalent of http://bitcoin.clarkmoody.com/order-book/ this interface for mtgox is brilliant for gauging depth with actual figures better than charts i think
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox, one more day before we can trade again on: June 25, 2011, 05:56:33 PM
re : In new twist, Gox punks everyone again

Figured I should make a post in this thread. At first I thought it was a redundant thread and wouldn't get responses so I passed on the opportunity to snipe it; however, people have started to reply to it, so I had to make a post for historical purposes, so I will settle for post #8,  if this thread really takes off and becomes very long.

And post #11 as well.

can we get this idiot banned or something?
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox, one more day before we can trade again on: June 25, 2011, 05:49:58 PM
Do you have a crystal ball you could lend them so they would know what and when to announce?

Its up to them buddy, not me, they know how long these things are going to take and can just give themselves a nice margin of safety, ie if they think rolling back all accounts and increasing security, claims process etc. will take say 4 days, they could give themselves a week rather than two days and perpetually extend it after they fail to meet an unrealistic deadline they set over and over again
177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox, one more day before we can trade again on: June 25, 2011, 05:44:16 PM
I'm really trying to like Mtgox, and i dont mind at all that they're pushing back trading, its better, But they need to announce this shit in advance of it happening before their customers die of stress and sleep deprivation.t
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MT Gox is up! on: June 25, 2011, 03:35:26 PM

179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: T-35 minutes. Will we be GOXed again? on: June 25, 2011, 03:07:54 PM
I predict... more delays
Yeah, why don't they just push it out 2 more days, and then have some breathing room to test everything.
You don't have to open the market right after opening your site.
