161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 6.5 K USD. What should i invest in? Pow? Pos? Trading ? on: July 07, 2017, 04:32:31 PM
We all know the "all eggs in one basket" story, but there are a lot more things to consider. There are moments in which you should be "brave" and listen to your guts. Smiley I hardly like any concept of a coin/token/whatever, because most of them lack the most important thing - usage (i.e. people). BAT is on a whole different level (though I hate the way they raised funds). Just imagine how many of you are using... browsers? And at the time of my first reply here the price was 4050 satoshi, now BAT is at 4370. I gave my "investment advise", because I'm following the market very closely and BAT currently is a 99.99% sure "investment". My best guess is that you can make 20-50% profit over the next few days (it already gained ~10% in 2 hours), not to mention what might happen in a few months/years.

162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone please give me an exact answer on alt coin taxes in this case? on: July 07, 2017, 04:00:12 PM
No one can tax you for this. Back in 2014 (I think?) in Bulgaria they tried to put a 10% corporate tax on profits from Bitcoin, but there's no way for them to prove anything. I will give scams as an example. A good amount of money (100s of thousands $) should be involved in a scam in order some agency (say IRS) to start investigating it. Can you guys imagine how much money and resources (not to mention trained personnel) it would take them to investigate ALL the people trading with Bitcoin (or whatever) and ALL of their trades? The best thing the governments can do is to declare some tax on Bitcoin profits and to research on random basis. Keep low profile (don't rob a bank!) and you'll be fine. Smiley
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: THANK YOU FOR DUMPING YOUR LTC, PLZ KEEP GOING on: July 07, 2017, 03:50:35 PM
Litecoin is probably among the coins with the best position right now, but such threads are pointless and pathetic. OP probably bought 5 LTC at $48 and is waiting to reach the Moon ($80), when he can sell and buy.... a new backpack for his laptop.

Meh...

The only Meh thing is your face, shame on you spooking us hehehe.

I'm buying all prices you are dumping, so far I bought 200 LTC at the lowest, sold again, bought and sold, and I have dough for another 500, keep dumping.

Your moon is very low, 80 is nothing, we are talking about 120 to 200 at least.

Go wipe your mouth - there's still milk on it (oh wait... it's not milk?).

I will go ALL IN in BAT if I was you. And I'm not joking...

166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Daniel Peled the worst person in crypto. And his partner ceo of coindash. on: July 06, 2017, 12:36:28 PM
Where exactly is the connection between GetGemz, PayKey and CoinDash? I visited PayKey's website and indeed Peled is stated to be the "CEO", but I found no connections between them and CoinDash. I also didn't saw them running an ICO or something, but stating that they are "partners" with giants such as CitiBank, Banco Santander, Commerzbank and MasterCard to name a few, is a huge red flag. They should be notified about this.

The story i heard..

Daniel took the getgemz ico funds and used them for paykey abandoning getgemz and getgemz ico investors. Just giving them a  slighly modified telegram app for 1.2M dollars  or much more now depending on if he still has the btc.
The other guy running coindash was in with the get gemz team. Apparently just as a coder but many say had his nose in the ico getgemz trough too and is pals with daniel.

There are some threads on this section already about it i think more details there.

Either way red flags.

Well, if someone provide the leads I will make sure to notify the correct people. I currently don't have the time to make any investigations.

168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt-coin Massacre continues on: July 05, 2017, 07:10:46 PM
I just pray we won't witness a Bitcoin chain split, because you will then see a true massacre. I also can't believe that tokens with huge potential such as BAT are trading below 5k satoshi, but that's the reality now.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Wallet features on: July 03, 2017, 09:18:10 AM
Hello,

What are the latest "gimmicks" in a coin's wallets? I am looking for some suggestions.

Thanks,
Spartak

Some of you should be ashamed of yourself and deserve a good ass whooping.

172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: We're in a bubble on: June 26, 2017, 04:42:48 PM
Is this the favorite word of the current society?? "Bubble, bubble, bubble". WTF?? The US stock market has been in a "bubble" for 11 years!! All things are relative! Stop the knee jerk chicken little crap. IT's a MARKET!! They fluctuate!! Too many amateurs in this space mounting soap boxes and claiming legitimacy. It is what it is.

And what was the point of your first post here (or... wait... you are A PRO trader who knows EVERYTHING about market of digital currencies, but you just don't want to use your real nickname?)Huh IT'S a FORUM! Everyone is entitled to their opinion!
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik openly admits he doesn't trust his creation on: June 26, 2017, 04:15:46 PM
This is mindless FUD.

He is saying "IF I wanted to do that" implying he stays with Ether and traditional equities.

They are already addressing the network issue. It is on their github.

Ether is falling little more due to the correction from Bitcoin. After Bitcoin corrects back up, so will Ether. As it has been over the last month.

But I guess, all sorts of people here have their own agendas.

Really? And what is YOUR point, Mr. noob? Do your homework, before calling it a FUD. But I guess all sorts of newbies here are trying to leave a trace with their "smart" comments.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: We're in a bubble on: June 26, 2017, 11:20:59 AM
ETH-ICOs now bring the ETH price down. because they all need to sell to collected ETH before the other ICOs do the same....

I don't think this is the main reason, but who knows. I don't even follow ICOs and I don't know how much money were raised so far to have a clear idea on the impact, which dump could cause.

I think everyone with at least half a brain knows we are in a bubble. What's the reason of latest Bitcoin increase? 100s of thousands unconfirmed transactions? How about all these crowdsales and ICOs based on Ethereum? All these "exciting" projects? Why DGB is close to 900 satoshi? DOGE? My personal opinion is that the price of a coin (or whatever) should be justified with usage and I don't think that usage of digital currencies has increased THIS much. Don't get me wrong - I'm also excited with the latest BTC increase and everything, but I'm always thinking about the future and now I think it looks scary...
Do read this: https://pastebin.com/ZUxTmR99

Agreed with most of this and I'm basically "believer" (i.e. I do think that Bitcoin is going much higher), but there's a lot of uncertainty, caused by all these greedy *******...
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: We're in a bubble on: June 26, 2017, 11:02:20 AM
My suggestion is most of you ICO millionaires to start recalculating how much $ (or euro, or whatever) you raised in your "projects".
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex, Exmo, Bittrex? on: June 25, 2017, 12:20:41 PM
Bittrex! I don't think anyone can match their support. In my experience all of the guys are straight and keep their feet on the ground. Not long ago they were struggling with volume, but now they among world's top 10 exchanges and will continue to grow bigger (but I was predicting this and it doesn't surprise me at all, giving their attitude).
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik openly admits he doesn't trust his creation on: June 24, 2017, 05:42:01 AM
Do not trust Spartak and Spoetnik they are fully loaded with China miners fully controlable and centralised no real usage copycoded LTC.

I have 0 LTC, but once I had about 18k. I like Litecoin, because it had a fair start... unlike Ethereum, which practically invented this ICO galore.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik openly admits he doesn't trust his creation on: June 24, 2017, 05:09:19 AM
As far as I remember (though I'm not 100% sure), Vitalik was demanding to be paid in Bitcoin only. Some 3.5 - 4 years ago he created Ethereum and again wanted to be paid with BTC. After a while he sold 25% of his tokens in order to diversify (I never said it was a bad decision, it was his right to do so), and now he's openly admitting that he never fully trusted digital currencies. You don't need to be Einstein to think that the future of digital currencies is uncertain, right? Have you seen some car manufacturer to say that "you may die in one of our cars"? No. They will only tell you to drive safely (pretty much like the advise most of the people are giving here - don't invest more than you can afford to lose).

People said it long time ago: Don't bite the hand that feeds you. Because if it weren't digital currencies, then Vitalik would be probably only a high paid employee in some good company and not in Fortune's 40 under 40 list.

If you don't see the hypocrisy in his statement, then I don't know what else to say.

Did he really say he distrusted cryptocurrencies tho, or was he saying something just to prove a point?

Btw, he's right to distrust most cryptocurrencies, isn't that the foundation the 'Fail Community' was built on?

I already said that it doesn't matter if he trust them or not and I gave a few good examples. Someone said it's a "PR suicide" and he nailed it. I also said it is a hypocrite thing to say just because digital currencies are the main source of his wealth. I'll add that he is also one of the faces of digital currencies and people are putting billions of $ in them. He could just have remained silent.

Anyway... I already gave a number of examples about why his sounds bad

You're not entirely right about FAILCoin. It started because of scams, but (since long time ago) we are trying to built something else. To put it simple - FAILCoin should be FAILCommunity's "fuel". Smiley

Cheers
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Charlie Lee working hard on LTC right now? Ofc not on: June 23, 2017, 06:06:47 PM
Charlie Lee is "diversifying" in a vacation (though it looks like he have some work there) with his well deserved and hard earned money. Unlike Mr. "diversifying in boats, bitches and houses" Buterin. But, guys, no matter what you answer to this troll he will always respond with his ETH-sockpupet-manner. These "people" are not even man enough to came up with their real nicknames. Why bother? I bet this 999 behind his nickname is the year when he was born - 1999.

@Dollface competes with chris derose and tone vays for the biggest ethereum hater crown. Not having 100% confidence is only natural for any sane person, especially when you work in a (still) niche field that's still in development. How about this tweet dollface, do you agree with it ?

https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/870711337592078336

Or better, do you have 100% confidence that your wannabe crypto project will be succesful ? Of wait, it already failed to launch. But you kept goin, why ?

Do you have 100% confidence that your girlfriend won't cheat on you ? Do you have 100% confidence that your bank doesn't go bankrupt and lose your savings ? Do you have 100% confidence in your neighbours ? And it can go on forever. Point is, you can't.

Here's what I got for you: https://twitter.com/bulgar1an/status/878221795588947968
