I battled the same thing in my garage with the same amount of cards. Only way to fix it is good airflow into the basement and out. I have 2 windows open and four 24 inch fans where the garage door use to be exhausting the hot air and that works to keep the temps same as outside. Not sure on the specs you need but you need to move a lot of air.

I always make money with ASICs. I mine with them for a few months then sell them, never sold one for less then I bought it for. After 5-6 months of mining I sold my Z11s I bought for 2k for 2.5k. I bought a K5 mined for 3 weeks and sold it for $200 above what I paid for it. ZECs reward is having in the next couple months that is something to take into consideration.
z11s are over a year old and still profitable, that is great for an ASIC.

I was thinking to try 1660 ti, but I was sceptical about the 6gb ram.
We have Ethash until 2024... This is true? Were did you read this? DAG Size Calculator... in the supposed case that ETH and ETC still with same algo the DAG Size will be ETH April 2024 and ETC December 2023... all the other Ethash Coin more... I misunderstood, I was thinking Eth would not go POS until 2024.

Lol, I forgot about the having. I haven't bought any Z15s but when I by ASICs I mine with for 3-6 months then sell them. I've never sold one for less then what I bought it for.

Guys, is RX5700 better than Radeon VII ? Because presently the Radeon VII is the highest AMD graphics card with better hashrate when mining cryptonight coins, I haven't have the privilege to try them head to head
I had 12 Radeon VII's and 9 burned up and had to be RMAed. Radeon VIIs are notorious for failing, I wish it wasn't so or I would have lots of them. RX 5700 is great I have 18 with zero problems.

Here are the hash rates and power usage. I can probably squeeze a little more hash rate out but these are very stable and run weeks on end with no reboots.

maybe not leap forward in mining
rdna2 focus on hardware raytracing.
Might make the current cards cheaper if they are not a big leap for mining.

I really like the 5700s but 90% of my gpus are 3 years old. It would be nice if performance was twice as fast as the 5700s, but I would want to see how they preform on other algos. Eth is great but for a large investment I would need more then one algo.
It is funny you say 5700s as you own one correct? After seeing others doing the xt bios modification. I just noticed even though you are able to bios mod the 5700 cards to xt clocks it does not affect the hashrates at all. I have 18 rx 5700s and 5700s XTs and haven't tried bios modding any of them. I think you can get a little more hash rate but I don't want the possibility of unstable rigs. i'm getting 51-52 MH/s around 110 -120 watts and they can get 1.1h/s on G31.

Same problem here, I quit and went back to CKB. NiceHash would be nice if it gets fixed.

I have 5 hosted F1+s and they are ok. I think they steal hash power but have no proof. What I've found is if a bit stream comes out and it is decent a ASIC will be made in a couple months. They seem to have a cycle of a couple good months followed by bad months and the process repeats. CKB was great now ASICed and HNS was decent then more FPGAs piled on and soon their will be an ASIC. Same story with DGB, SPDR andd VRSC. At this rate these things need to be profitable for at least 3 years for me to consider them a success. I think their are private farms that have better bit streams and machines but have no idea how to get any. Not sure if this is legit: https://www.blackminerscam.com/blackminer-f1-scam/Closest your going to get to$100 is a f1 mini

Hi, I'm having problems with my antminer K5 ... does not start, fans working but at low rpm speed, solid red and green lights, does not connect to internet (tried IPReporter and advanced ip detection), tried the bitmain reset guide butit will not reset ( just stays the same). Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Have you logged into your router and looked for it in the list of connected devices? It should be listed as antMiner

I can only get lolmner to mine .3 on c31 on my 5700s, worked fine on windows.

Same her on one of my MSI 570s, it runs 90 degrees and higher power and no matter what I do it always runs at 90 degrees. I've re applied thermal paste and the fans run at 100%. I'm waiting for it to break to throw it away but its been a year an still running, lol. I wounder if the temp reading is wrong.

Been buying open box RX 5700's and with this down turn my gpus have lost less value then if I would have bought btc and they are still producing a little income. Just a pain in the ass to sell if things don't recover. Hell the 1070s I bought in early 2017 are still running and have been long paid off and still worth a little.
I am getting close to turning of my older gpus the profit margin is razor thin and if things get worse I'm shutting down for a while. No need for a huge electric bill. I wounder what the btc miners are doing, this sucks with the having coming.

In SMOS I'm only getting .3 on c31 on my rx 5700s. SMOS is telling me its a problem with the miner.

Aren't both Bitmain and Insillicon miners 4gb ram and will be useless here soon?
|
|
|
Aren't all of the eth ASICs going ti stop working soon? Might get a nice bump in profit anyway.
