161  Economy / Speculation / Re: You are really a retard if you don't buy in now (going to $45,000 next summer) on: February 25, 2014, 03:05:50 PM
100 fold increase... A bit bullish just now...
162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gox getting aquired? Lets start a theoretical auction - How much is gox worth? on: February 25, 2014, 10:44:40 AM
All of those options are positive, that is too much...
163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: Future of gox? (Many possible options) on: February 25, 2014, 10:20:59 AM
Was this a explosion or?
164  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL: Who is sending more fiat to Gox to buy $100 coins? on: February 25, 2014, 10:20:11 AM
So who send some in the end?
165  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Poll: Do you actually believe Mt.Gox lose the money? on: February 25, 2014, 08:57:00 AM
Might not be entire amount. But a lot anyway...
166  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who has the 740,000 BTC? on: February 25, 2014, 06:54:43 AM
The coins have been getting stolen and dumped over the span of an entire 3 years. It's not like theyre all waiting in a big pile to suddenly be dumped now.

True, fraudsters are rather bad at saving... And they got the thing going for quite a long time...
167  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Official Money Lost in Mt. GOX Thread on: February 25, 2014, 06:23:42 AM

Oh and some brain cells...
168  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you really believe gox has lost 740,000 BTC and has only 2,000 left? on: February 25, 2014, 06:13:38 AM
Losing 740 000 BTC seems unbelivable achievement.

On other hand having that much in exchange in the late times seems also dubious...

This is why you should support nuclear energy.
+1

I hope you mean cold fusion ;P

Currently only realistic alternative to burning coal is good old nuclear fission.

That is if you want to slow expansion of coal mining you must fight against coal burning powerplants.

171  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Freedom on: February 23, 2014, 09:39:08 AM
There can be no freedom without greed, since greed is fundamental to many humans.

So if you give people the freedom to be how they want to be, don't be surprised that many will be greedy.

And if there is greed there will soon be no freedom.
172  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will the price of BTC on Mt. Gox be in 3 days? on: February 22, 2014, 07:56:58 AM
Poll lasts 1 day. If you are right you will be sent dust.

Voted on last option, waiting on my dust Grin
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fundation charging for membership in dollars, not BTC on: February 20, 2014, 12:06:35 PM
USD, they support that?

    Platinum: $100,000
    Gold: $25,000
    Silver, large: $5,000
    Silver, medium: $2,500
    Silver, small: $1,000
    Lifetime: $250
    Individual: $25

Looks like they don't want to take risk of price fluctuations.

So they trust in USD being stable?

Not a group of people I could trust...
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Fundation charging for membership in dollars, not BTC on: February 20, 2014, 12:01:39 PM
USD, they support that?
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks have no deposit atms, we do on: February 20, 2014, 11:38:17 AM
You still use checks?

I think here they are bringing some cash deposit ATMs, but really cash is for spending not for putting to your account for most people.

Bank transfers are cheap for user(free, online bank can cost a few euros a month) and I don't think almost anyone receives their salary in cash.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people have received random .00000001 transactions to their wallets? on: February 18, 2014, 09:48:56 AM
So is someone seriously trying to dust every used address?

Or atleast good part of them...
177  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Company plans to beam free Wi-fi to every person on Earth from space on: February 18, 2014, 08:32:07 AM
So they're assuming that my smartphone/laptop/whatever-device has sufficient power in its transmitter to reach a low earth orbit.

I don't see this working. Because physics.

edit: Ok, I read the article. They plan on providing the service in a one-directional way only. So the satellites broadcast data using UDP and devices can pick this up, but not respond. So it'll not be any more interactive than a worldwide radio broadcast.

Someone did some calculations and they didn't look too good for this to work at all.

So I just don't see this happening... You would need to be in middle of desert or other area with very low population. And you probably need a directional atenna. I'm not sure about realistic dimensions and what sort of tracking is needed, because these things do move relatively fast...
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is A joke and will never last. on: February 18, 2014, 07:39:14 AM
Do I want to trade the current 1% to a different 1%?

It really doesn't matter to me...

Do I believe that they will become the 1%? No...

If the crypto is future, it won't be the Bitcoin.
179  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Company plans to beam free Wi-fi to every person on Earth from space on: February 18, 2014, 05:32:56 AM
Physics?

I don't think they are going to get sufficient power in shared band...
180  Economy / Speculation / Re: [poll] How has the Gox mess affected your position? on: February 17, 2014, 03:23:10 PM
I'm as bear as I have ever been...

Though it has gotten me to post-pone the unloading of my last 0.13BTC... Anyway I'm not buying more of them so I just see if it rises to 700  level... And really can't be bothered to get confirmed just now.
