Just invested in shift.
How did I come across shift? I looked at the worst performing coins of the day and shift was among other coins who was down almost 40% I think. So I had look at a few candidates and shift surprised me by it's innovation and solid tech.
I normally don't buy alt coins on a whim but after studying at all the details of shift and knowing the devs are about to launch phantom, I can't resist the temptation of buying this coin on the dip.
In retrospect, maybe I should have waited a bit more because the market is bearish until august 1st. Who knows? it can drop to 0.01$ January 2017 prices.
edit: just realize this is my first post since I registered to this forum in 2011! LOL my status reads "brand new" and my account is 6 years old. Been around lurking and reading. Guess I had nothing to say until now.

AMP keeps falling, as I said. You call me not decent just because I don't say what you like to hear. In my view that is not decent. Telling the truth is decent. And the truth is as an investor you should run away from AMP now or you will get your ass burned. I said you are not a decent person because you troll when you sell, and brag up when you hold. I have more respect for the kebab troll. |

I have been here for 6 months, I could have sold anytime I wanted, but I didn't because I look for the longterm prospects.
The prospects of this project can be astronomical. There are no competitors, the team can easily create something extremely valuable.
I'd be laughing at people who sold at 15000 satoshi when the price gets 150,000 satoshi. Mark my words, I'll use this post as a reference, archive it!
People sold at 600 satoshis for the same reason they are selling today. FEAR, UNCERTAINTY, and DOUBTLook at what happened to those who sold at 600 satoshis when BTC was $230. Those people are crying today. The people who are selling today will be crying tomorrow. Welcome to the world of investing. Hit the nail on the head there. Egnore the trolls, even though I'm bag holding now, I am very confident that we will see forward price movement in the next few weeks, the closer we get to the open beta. In fact this is where people should be buying. |

Going to make one last comment before I go away for the weekend.
This has been a brutal pull back, more than most of us expected. If you look at the charts the market makers, have plenty of BTC waiting at 13k to collect your coins from you, the best thing to do in this situation is just hold, i've seen this so many times now and if you are unlucky enough to get caught the just HODL. It will return to previous levels.
Open beta just over 4 weeks, not long, I belive that's when we will see our jump in price.

Why is selling at these prices retarded ? You clearly weren't here last year after ICO when price crashed 80 %. AMP is in a very strong downtrend. I am very happy I ran away, actually. At this moment I will defend the kebaps also  In all honesty, AMP has an interesting concept. But I do understand these shortterm investors that run away constantly. There are certain criterias investors look at when investing for the longterm. AMP violates some of them. First, there is a huge amount of premined AMP. Once the platform is operational AMP could go high but inflation with premined coins will kill the price, the same way that happened with Steem. Second, their dev team is extremely small with only 4 developers. What are they actually doing with the millions they raised ? I think the purpose of raising money is in order to pay employees so you can deliver faster. But they raised tons of money and still only have 4 developers. If you ask here why they only have 4 developers and whether they shouldn't hire more people, you get no answer. Third, they have to deliver. And in all honesty, what the Synereo team has delivered after more than a year is very poor. Only a beta release of a plugin. You have to get in the head of the majority of investors. They will be like: "OK, so these people raised millions of dollars and in more than a year the only thing they did was intra team fighting and deliver a beta release of a browser plugin ?". That doesn't sound really convincing. As I said before, Steemit had a full website more than a year ago. That's an achievement that sounds more convincing to investors. As soon as you sell you start giving negative comments. Not a decent thing to do. Seen this too many times in crypto. It's hard to find good people to take advice in this sphere. |

What needs to be done so Poloniex or any other major exchange would list Shift?
Polo needs to have picked up most of the supply on the quiet for serveal months prior, then when a coin with inovation releases the code they have a good chance. This was cheap for a while, and still is in my opinion. So, we'll see. |

True. But I just sold off for a moment. There is no use to stay in a coin in a big downtrend when other coins look more interesting at the moment. I will follow up AMP and get back in when it is safe. I don't want to go down 80 % like last year after ICO :-) Twice you've said that after selling, hmmm. The big drop in price is because the dev team slit, open beta soon, no comparison. |

Interesting, let's see how the buy wall fairs. How about 5% divided amongst the community as an appology, 1% isn't a lot. You'll have a lesser share, but you might have a chance of building a community behind this coin, that's what can make a coin. I've bought back 2400 AMP coins (from 2500) at 16k, thus reducing my average price to 10,6к from initial 13,6k, I'm waiting for rebounce to 20-22k

They promised one thing and then they said they would deliver something else. And now where is it? Just some private thing for selected individual. Useless...
