From the quick research I did this does seem legal in the Untied States. My question is, if this is legal why do all the accessible products in stores and online not contain Tujone? If this in fact 100% legal to ship/import/purchase to the United States you can put me down for one with escrow thru OGnasty, Ill pay fees.
165  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Physical coins on: March 14, 2016, 09:45:02 PM
I wanna get one soon. I'm not interested in anything other than Casascius. That's the gold standard and that's the face of bitcoin to the rest of the world in a way so they'll be the ones worth my money.

that would be the "bitcoin standard"  Wink

Some of the others are kinda cool but they're nothing but curios in comparison. No one's gonna care about them or know what they are in 5-10 years. They'll be lumps of metal with a bitcoin stuck to them.

Maybe, maybe not....Any coin is just a lump of metal and this is just another side of coin collecting that happens to have an added bonus feature....  Cheesy

I don't see how some of the premiums can hold if the price rises but I don't really care. I want one as a long term investment. Even if bitcoin itself dies they'll have historical value.

Might I interest you in some nice Zimbabwe dollars  Grin

I bought one of those years ago to have Ron Paul sign. After just looking what those are selling for now I it seems I should have bought the stacks that were available at the time.  Roll Eyes

As far as physical coins what I like best is the opportunity they present to talk with others about bitcoin who otherwise would blow the idea off.  Cool

You're supposed to delete old bumps.

Not that I am interested in buying this item, but I was just wondering where the value of BTC10 is, I can only add up about $500 in costs.

Unfortunately there's no delete button on this sub-forum. What do you mean for where the value of 10 BTC is?

Cyrus usually helps clean up threads with multiple bumps. Ive messaged him.

How did I miss that dot four times? I'm an idiot.

You had me doing the cost per coin a few days ago when you mentioned how much I bid after a .01 increment lol I'll be honest for a second I was you had me thinking what the hell did I just do? Good to see you thought I bid 10x what I did lol

Assuming I win this can I pick the free classic roll and purchase a few LE roll(s) in advance?

GIGŁ, <----- (Hehe!)

Great question!

You may certainly pick the free Classic Roll, and I'm happy to sell you as many Limited Edition Rolls as you like.

However, if by purchasing "in advance" you mean that you would have the exclusive opportunity to buy one or more Limited Edition Rolls before anyone else on the forum, then I'd have to respectfully say no, as that may seem a little unfair to some other forum members. (After all, this year we are making only TEN (10) Limited Edition Rolls in total. Yep, we're serious about the word "Limited.") On the other hand, if you are asking if our Limited Edition Rolls can be pre-ordered (by anyone, regardless of who wins this auction), then a pre-sale is something that we can certainly consider, if that's something you're interested in.

We still have a few details / features to address with our new 2016 Limited Edition Rolls, but I can post any pre-sale info (price / ETA / etc) when we have it all straight. Should be in the next week or two, I imagine.

Sound good?

Regards,
Chris

Sounds perfect.

Digi.....Don't do this to me....

All the coins are shipped.  Cool

Domestic recipients should have their lots by the end of this week.

International recipients should have their lots in < 2 weeks.

Check your messages for tracking numbers.

International lots will be sent pics of shipping rather than tracking number.

I have left positive trust for everyone.

Thanks again everyone for making this another smooth transaction.

Enjoy  Cheesy

178  Economy / Goods / Re: How to use a physical coin? on: February 27, 2016, 11:59:19 PM
Hey guys, I'm highly considering purchasing one of those Casassicus coins, although I'm not sure how to use them
Some of them have holograms, how do those work? Do you have to look at them from a certain direction? What about non holograms? Is there just a QR code or something, or an engraved private key?

Hi, the casassius coins (or the other crypto coins) are like wallets, and this wallet has the private key witch is under the hologram. You can scan the QR code to real it. But this isn't a good idea, the coin will loose price if you peel the hologram. The coins that haven't hologram, haven't any QR code, no private address.

So... Coins without a hologram have no functional use except as a memoir/collector's item? No engraved private key? Nothing?

You can reprint your own privately made address and assemble them with any hologram you want...or can find...

Generally the codes come in sheets precut in circles made to be printed on with laser/ink jet printers.

This is the safest way to use a physical coin
179  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] USB Killers. Plug in and damage the computer on: February 27, 2016, 11:41:46 PM
This would be useful for people needing to scrub a laptop for incriminating reasons. Say you are getting secondary at the border, they want to search phone or laptop. Interesting product.
Would be interested in a cellphone version.

Im not sure it would be safe to assume the computer would be wiped of ALL stored data.
